Amerant Bank Arena

Attended a Florida Panthers game against the Montreal Canadiens at Amerant Bank Arena and the entire experience easily deserves 5/5 stars. From the moment of arrival, parking was well organized with plenty of staff directing traffic, and it was surprisingly easy to get in and out of the lots compared with many other NHL arenas. Security and entry were smooth and efficient, with clear signage and staff ready to answer questions, so there was no stress getting to the seats before puck drop. Inside, the arena feels modern, clean, and very well maintained, with wide concourses that make it easy to walk around even when it is busy. There are many different concession stands, from classic arena food to higher‑quality options, and the lines moved quickly so it never felt like a choice between missing the game or grabbing something to eat. Restrooms were kept clean throughout the night and were easy to find thanks to the clear signage and open layout. The atmosphere for the Panthers vs Montreal Canadiens matchup was incredible, with a great mix of passionate home fans and loud Habs fans, which made every goal and big save feel even more intense. Sightlines to the ice are excellent from almost anywhere in the building, and even from the upper levels it was easy to follow every play and see the action clearly. The sound system and in‑game presentation added a lot to the experience, with energetic music, goal songs, and light shows that kept the energy high without being overwhelming. Staff throughout the arena were friendly and professional, from ushers helping guests find their seats to concession workers and security personnel answering questions with a smile. The arena’s location near Sawgrass Mills is also a big plus, since it is convenient to grab dinner or do some shopping before or after the game, turning the visit into a full evening out. For anyone considering seeing the Canadiens on the road or just looking for a great NHL experience, Amerant Bank Arena delivers an outstanding, memorable night and absolutely earns a full 5/5‑star review.

Great arena for hockey ! We have been to a few panthers games here while we were visiting Florida. The parking is easy and the building is beautiful and fan friendly. The staff is very helpful and the fan experience is better than most NHL arenas I have been to. The seats are comfortable and give you good leg room and there are no bad seats in the house. They have varied concessions that are fairly priced.

Came to watch UF men’s basketball play in the Orange Bowl Classic. Let’s start with parking — $35 for general admission. Really? For an afternoon game. Be prepared. The arena itself is nice and clean, but food and drinks are outrageously expensive. What’s sad is that it makes attending a game cost-prohibitive for an average family. It’s not just the ticket price — it’s everything else that adds up. Supporting a team shouldn’t feel like a luxury.

I went to a concert here and after parking acrossed the street at the mall like many others and getting to the detectors at the front of the arena is when they let you know that you can only bring a 4×6 bag. Even if they check it. I told my daughter and my mom to go ahead and I walked the extra 10 minutes to the parking lot and the 10 minutes back. What pissed me off was the rules didn't apply to everyone. Once I got back into line without our bags a woman in front of me had a purse same size as my mother's and was told her bag was too big however same rules didn't apply she wasn't told to go back to her car but instead had her purse checked and was allowed to enter. Than after I sat down a woman with a purse bigger than mine and my moms was sitting two rows down from us because we watched her come in with it. If the rules apply they should apply to everyone. However, they didn't. The food is crazy priced but I figured that would be high priced. The seating was great and the concert even better.

Beautiful arena! Hockey sightlines in the 300s are quickly and easily blocked from any fan's head in front of you. The mall across the street should be connected to the arena property! Walking to the mall for pregaming should have been much easier. Instead it was a cumbersome, sometimes dangerous, sidewalkless walk. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic night at the Amerant praising with Brandon Lake, Pat Barrett and Frannie Cash. The arena itself was great, the parking/traffic control crew were amazing and the disabled parking was plentiful and even with a sold out house, the restrooms were clean and tidy, all credit to the cleaning and maintenance staff. As I said, it was a sold out house so I would guess that explains the very long wait in line at the food consession (if not the high prices). Our seats were eady to find and there were plenty of helpers around indide the arena to help you with a smile. A slight letdown was security cheerypicking somewhat, sending droves of people back to their cars with purses that were to big, yet letting others in with the same and bigger size. Our all in all impression of the arena was that the accessibility was good, signage was good, the facilites were clean and the majority of staff gave service with a smile. It was a great night and we would absolutely attend events at the Amerant again.
