American Best Chicken & Waffle

My husband ordered a combo of eight fried wings and a small fried rice for $15. He was in a hurry to leave the area because of some sketchy people loitering outside, and unfortunately, he didn't check the box before he left. When he got home and opened the box, I actually laughed in disbelief. I've never seen "naked" fried chicken like this before. The wings barely have breading or batter on them. The sight of them is so unappetizing that I don't even want to taste them. The only reason we ordered from this place was to sample the chicken for a potential large brunch order we are hosting. I am so glad we decided to try them beforehand. This was our first and last time doing business with this carry out

The food is good and no pork is sold here! My favorite id the lamb chops, burger, fish chicken and the breakfast of the late night! Also they have great customer service! I think the picture speaks for itself 😂😂 oh yea the pizza mannnnn

Bruhhhhh I have blonde hair why is there this long piece of black hair FRIED in my chicken..?! Food isn’t good at all fries burnt ..! Chicken has no taste..!!! Stay far away..! Junkies even chill inside..!!! Please don’t waste your time..! MAMBO sauce isn’t mambo ..!! Had a sign up for free half & half if you do a review..! So don’t believe the reviews..! Also there is a sign inside that says no refunds or exchanges..! Just don’t go..!!! If I could put no stars I would..!!! I did walk in ordered a grilled chicken salad & paid the cashier $9.81. While waiting over 15 minutes for my odrer, I noticed a sign stating no returns & no refunds.I finally got my order after 20 mintues & hurriedly left eatery. The salad greens were spoiled, had a yellowish to dark brownish/ blackish pieces of mixed greens. The grilled chicken breast was small size, overcook. I almost choke eating a dry piece of grilled chicken. I wouldn't recommand or returned back to this place!

I used to drive past this place cause it doesn’t look to amusing from the outside but I’m glad i came in one day the food is really made to order the chicken is fresh i can taste it’s been dropped and prepared once i order the Rice is really different 🚨🔥🔥 the Lamb fried rice is a Indian twist to the Carry out everyone. Is used to i would say they could add more meats whenever your adding to your fried rice to make it worth the price besides that everything i had so far has been on par def a hidden gem

Update: I am recinding my review of 5 stars. I just spoke to the man i see every single day to order my food. He was rude, condescending and downright nasty. Mind you, I spend $50-$80 here a few times a week. When he answered I was jolly and had a visitor with me and wanted them to try their vegetable fried rice and fried mixed chicken. This guy told me, “I cannot give it to you like that.” Me: “Why? I got it that way a few days ago.” Guy: “Its too expensive” Me: “Okay, I got the money. and i just got it like that the other day. i come there everyday.” Guy: “Okay you got the money, so? its alot of ppl come here everyday. You’re not the only kne whl shop here everyday.” Me: “Wow, you know what i dont even want it i dont like the attitude.” Guy: “okay, bye.” I was so embarrassed that i had the convo on carplay because he completely dismissed me as if he didnt just thank me and my fiance two days ago for spending so much money there. He knows my white van when he sees it he knows im about to spend money. This man obliterated my view of them and their worthiness to shop with them. As black ppl its hard these days to find places to frequent without something off-putting happening and making you wish you had just cooked at home. I am utterly disappointed in the staff member and I hope everyone sees this and goes into the establishment knowing that once they reach an amount of weekly success the good reviews that he alone helped them garner, he alone, will help them tarnish. I know for a fact my initial review has brought even more business than the same older ppl that used to stop by and the occasional round-the-way family thats hesitant to stop there because of the youngings that hang inside there. the first review had over 1,600 views! I promise you, i live 2 minutes away, NO ONE was shopping here but super locals before that review. these ppl just lost their biggest fan! I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. I WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND ANYONE TO SHOP HERE. If ppl will talk to you and treat you that way after all the business you bring them they couldnt possibly care for your food. you cant see them cooking yyour food either so im even more skeptical now. Im glad this happened because only GOD knows what theyre doing behind that curtain. ImInitial Review: First off they’re so polite and welcoming! they treat you like a human being and they don’t judge the community they’ve chosen to serve their indian/american dishes to. If you’re like me and you mean it when you say fried hard then this place is for you. i literally was able to clean a fried chicken breast to the BONE! Name one place you can hit bone without some soggy slimy orangish gunk or even eat the whole breat withoit being weirded out or recooking? you cant because I’ve tried all the chicken and waffles and whil Southern style fried chicken and waffles is a good 2nd, This place jumped to the top of my end of the year cravings list for good fried food and dishes i want to try from the Indian culture! They make every dime worth it and they fry the hell outta some chicken! Jerry’s, H&Chicken, Crown, Popeyes none of them can touch this little spot! PLEASSSEEEE SHOP HERE!!

I got a modified quesadilla, grateful that they made the changes. Lassi was EXCELLENT. I think maybe the interior decor could be improved, felt very uninviting. I got a bunch of food for my family and it was amazing. The customer service was great, the food was fast and fresh. There is a variety of food and it’s all amazing!! Everything I had was so good! I highly recommend.

Some of the best waffles I have ever had. Service was pretty good. Food was fresh and ready when I arrived. Oh I and the fish were well seasoned and great also. Definitely worth the trip.

Shrimp saag had large succulent shrimp ( not over cooked) Waffles were da bomb why? Fluffy warm and airy with nice malt flavor I was impressed I had fried catfish nice shock of flavor not greasy. I will be back for different Indian dishes Service superb!

Casual place to pick up food for a quick meal. I called to place the order and ask about some items on the menu, and the employee on the phone didn't really know the description. Food was ready to go when I got to the place which was great. We got the chicken tikka kebab with garlic naan and the tandoori chicken wrap. It was good for a quick dinner. The only thing I wish was better was the naan - tasted more like pita bread than actual naan.

I eat here often, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always top-notch. The ambiance is not for dining in but it is always quick and ready and hot. I love how they have a variety of options on the menu, so there's always something new to try. Definitely a five-star experience every time!

My good friend who's a "DoorDasher" was telling me so many people order from Here and the food looks and smell good so of course you know I had to come Check them out. The customer service was fair. It wasn't overly crowded. It is kinda small inside but you don't have to wait very long for your food. The food was hot and fresh! It was seasoned well.My pizza was really good. Nice and cheesy and flavorful. Only thing is the shrimp was over cooked and extra crispy.

Movie night with the girls. The Meh -1 star Chicken was basic - nothing to kiss puppies over. Waffle was pretty basic too but a nice size. Could use vanilla in the batter. The Con - The mambo sauce was hard to distinguish. The best I can describe it is cocktail sauce mixed with ketchup. Notmy favorite. The Pro - 3 stars That pizza tho! Got pepperoni with extra sauce. You can taste the basil and other flavors in the pizza. Cute personal size pizza. I would definitely get that again. The arnold palmer was a nice balance of sweet, what tastes like raspberry tea, and tart from the lemonade. There wasn't any ice which works for me. I'd return for the pizza.

Went to American Best Chicken and Waffle one Sunday after church. My girlfriend recommended this place after searching on Yelp. I can say that this Carryout does make great food. The prices are good for the portion sizes that you receive. The food is flavored and seasoned. I had the Catfish breakfast platter, and everything was perfect. My girlfriend had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried to perfection and the waffle was nice and soft. This is a great place for a quick grab. The food is good, and they have a lot to choose from. You will find something.

So, my boyfriend picked up some to go food from american best chicken and waffle. I wasn't surprised at how nice the food was. One of the pieces of chicken were undercooked so i wish i had got the 4 piece. However, the food was seasoned well. My bf had the catfish and fried chicken platter, which he thought was good as well. If this place was closer to us we would go more often. I recommend to give it a try if you are in the area and want a nice quick breakfast!

Best shrimp omelette EVER!!!! Wanted to try this spot out for breakfast - while traveling - and was left quite content with my order! I only wish that I had to recipe to that particular omelette because it would make for a wonderful, regular breakfast meal.

This place was pretty good! I loved the waffle and the seasoning on the chicken was very tasty especially with the mumbo sauce. The pieces of chicken were huge though... I prefer chicken wings instead. The honey bun cake looked so appetizing but it wasn't that great (also comparing to my grandmas honey bun cake so keep that in mind). The only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because although the food was pretty good, it was not good enough to come again.

This is GREAT takeout Indian food. Absolutely delicious lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, Chana masala, and chicken korma. Can't wait to go back!

This place has a very diverse menu. It had surprisingly good Indian food and delicious waffles. The pizza was good as well. Everything I tried was very good except the Mac and cheese was really bad and tasted like Velveeta and noodles. The collard greens were good but way too spicy. I will definitely be back based on the other food, though.

4.5 stars. Fried chicken was delicious. Waffle was very flavorful, but I prefer it crispier. Service for my visit was outstanding. I look forward to trying more food.

This spot is fairly new but has amazing customer service and food. The chicken and waffle meal is plenty food and always hot and fresh. I have had this meal on at least three occasions and I'm definitely looking forward to trying some of their other menu items. The menu has so much variety, so many different options. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

The chicken biriyany and fried fish was very testy! I like the salmon, it was so tender. It was enjoyable experience to me. And of course great service too.

Amazing food! Great customer service! We've been ordering wings from another place for a while thinking they were the best ones around but damn we were wrong! Definitely we will be ordering from here often. The only "negative" was we did not receive the soda but it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the food!

I found this place on a whim and I'm so happy I found it! Well seasoned and moist chicken and great waffles!
