"Housed inside New Hampshire’s Funspot, which holds the Guinness World Record for largest arcade, the American Classic Arcade Museum (ACAM) collects almost 200 vintage arcade machines for future generations to marvel at. Founded in 1998, the museum was the brainchild of Funspot employee Gary Vincent who proposed that they gather all of the aging games in the huge arcade into one spot and start a museum. His bosses took the bait and the ACAM was born. Today the ACAM occupies an entire floor of Funspot. At any given time, the collection displays around 180 games from the 70’s and 80’s. The outer walls are tightly packed with pinball machines themed after everything from KISS to the Harlem Globetrotters, while the rest of the floor is lined with row after row of tall arcade cabinets. Vintage games like Tetris, Toobin’, Galaxian, Tron, and Space Invaders are all organized by their publisher, with big signs hanging over the cabinets trumpeting, “Atari,” “Taito,” and “Nintendo.” Each year the museum is also home to the Annual Classic Video Game and Pinball Tournament where gamers from around the globe come and try to beat Guinness-recognized high scores.  The museum’s collection of games stops at anything made after 1987, because as Vincent tells it, that is when the focus of video games seemed to shift into more violent, less artful fare. The ACAM also holds a number of games in a storage warehouse and regularly switches titles out, so the gaming experience at is almost never the same twice. Which is more than can be said for many of the video games in the collection." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Walking in, we had no idea what we were about to see but it was awesome! There were rows and rows of vintage video games(frogger, pinball, etc) You purchase coins and that's how you are able to play the games. There are 2 floors of games and it's huge! Make sure you walk the whole place, there are tons of games to play and see. There's also a mini golf course within it, a small arcade with newer games, ski ball lanes, and of course a gift shop. Ticket to prize value was great. We were able to get the most "trinkets" here. Although they were little, this was a huge memory! My husband and I will hit this again if we ever pass through. This is truly a hidden gem that brings you back to your childhood(those 90s baby's and back)

Okay... overall it's great! Some of the pinball machines do show their age and I think the amount of tokens you get for $20 changed, and many machines are now 2 through 4 tokens... but it's a great time!

Floors of classic, old, and new arcade games for all ages. There are skee-ball games on the 1st floors. On the 3rd floor is an indoor mini golf. There are games that you can win tickets and redeem for prizes. There are food sections on the 1st and 3rd floor. 5 bucks for 20 tokens. We had a fun time and definitely come back again. Plenty of parking spaces.

This place was amazing!!!! They have every type of game. My daughter and Son-in-Law took us here and I was just blown away at how many games they had. And something for every age. Even my 2 year old grandson was kept busy (mostly by the little cars he could drive). A great time was had by all!!!!

This place is awesome . I take my kids yearly. I enjoy seeing/playing the old arcades I grew up with and my kids laugh at me being a kid again lol. I also enjoy the new games offered. While there we always get pizza for lunch. Food is great and atmosphere is fantastic for all. Definitely a place to go NO matter your age. ❣️

Love this place but it's a double edged sword. The pinball games in the new Pinball Outpost are FANTASTIC. Classics like The Addams Family, Cyclone, Pin Bot, Xeneon and Funhouse have all been refurbished with new play fields and bright lighting. They are working great and you definitely need to check these out. Kudos to whoever has been renovating these classics. The arcade on the top floor, the "museum" area needs some work. So many of the machines are in poor condition or just not working at all. Dragon Spirits stick is too stiff to work properly, the left player on Rampage can't push down, Paperboy doesn't turn to the right. Others just don't work at all such as classics like Tempest, Hogans Alley and Quartet. Many of these games have been down for years, just collecting dust. When you do find a working game, it's fantastic though, and there are so many rarities here like Flower and Mystic Marathon. If they would just work on fixing some of these up, this place would be tops. Still absolutely worth a visit, and don't miss the Pinball Outpost on the second floor.

This place is absolutely my favorite place in New Hampshire. Bill left a great legacy, and I'm always excited to be there. That being said, the machines used to be well maintained, and dip switches all worked well, like they just came out of the factory, During this recent visit, I was rather disappointed with how many machines were down and out of order or on and not responding well. I'm not sure why I fear they may be in need of a cabinet maintenance operator. Some of the classiic machines need new dip switches, trackballs, and rotation switchs. Hope they can get it together, their machines are beautiful.

My husband is a retro gaming enthusiast and there were so many there that brought back memories for him. We had great fun playing games and 10 pin. Loved it.
