I have never been to this location before but I went for the first time a few days ago and i truly feel that this associate deserves recognition. I was having the worst day possible, it felt like things were coming at me from every direction, but when I walked into that store, everything shifted. The associate who helped me (from what I recall, her name was Melina) greeted me with so much kindness and patience and instantly made me feel comfortable. I thought I was just going to look around, but she really took the time to help me. She recommended things I ended up loving and explained everything so clearly, you could tell she really knew what she was talking about. She even helped me while managing multiple guests at once, and somehow still made me feel like a priority the entire time. She told me exactly what to look for on every floor despite her being on the 1st floor. She was such a strong selling leader I left with 4 leggings, 2 bras, and matching underwear, all from her recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. She walked me through every product and made sure I felt confident, NEVER pressured which I value deeply when it comes to shopping. Melina was so incredibly attentive, and such a strong selling leader. Because of her, I walked out not only with great pieces but in a much better mood. Aerie, please notice her. She’s a valuable part of the team and absolutely deserves some type of real recognition, even a promotion, because she truly made an impact on my day that I never thought someone could. Thank you! Everyone else was also nice.

I came to this location yesterday in desperate need of activewear and Kaylee on the 3rd floor helped me so much! She was so sweet and knowledgeable about Offline and gave me great advice on the best colors for my skin tone and best pieces for my various activities. Best Aerie I’ve ever been to THANK YOU KAYLEE

I hope corporate sees this review for the Aerie location at 716 718 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022. I went in because I needed comfy travel clothes for a road trip thinking I was just going to buy a pair of leggings with pockets. I thought I wouldn’t get too much help from the associates but Jenny proved me wrong in an amazing way! Jenny helped me choose three pairs of comfy pants and suggested tops to go with it. One pair of the trouser joggers was too long and she suggested to go a size down for the length and bingo! Perfect fit! She was helpful, friendly, attentive, stylish and smart! Give JENNY a raise, promotion or get her in a corporate position/corporate program for growth. The team lead (didn’t get her name) when I told her how amazing Jenny is she told the manager Jenna and they gave her a big shout out on their radios. Get these girls in corporate or help them pave their way. You have great talent in that store.

Came in here for a robe as a gift. Would have loved some help- someone else got helped and then I got walked by a bunch of times, no welcome or asking if I needed something despite being in the store for about 10 minutes. Just kind of put me off the experience!

I wouldn't go out of my way to review a massive chain, but in hopes that corporate will see this, just want to give a HUGE shoutout to literally every person that works at this Aerie store. I went in yesterday afternoon with a vague idea of what I wanted, and everyone I interacted with was so nice, so friendly and went above and beyond to help me out. Maybe the best retail customer-service experience I've ever had.

I love American Eagle! From East Coast to west Coast to down south! I can always find the perfect jeans!

BEST AEO EXPERIENCE EVER. I have not shopped for this brand since 2019. I felt that I aged out of the brand, but I actually did not! I found a lot of sales, plus what I was looking for. There were several people who assisted me. I even was escorted to upstairs to have an expedited checkout experience, as I was on my lunch break and had to return to my job within an hour. The try on experience was wonderful too. I WILL DEFINITELY SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Exceptional service! I don’t shop here often, it was first time at this location. Arielle who assisted me was very attentive and friendly. I tried like 10 different swimsuits today, asked different sizes, never got any attitude. Will definitely come back

I came here by accident! I accidentally went inside! Then accidentally I bought some stuff. So this store caused me an accident! On a serious note, I was assisted by the sales associate, Ingrid. She was super professional and helpful. I tried a few clothes and tops and asked for her opinions. I told her about my allergies, so she double checked the fabrics for me just in case. Very thrilled with the treatment. Then I went upstairs to look around and Abigail helped me with some of the clothes and tops upstairs. Overall, the hiring department did something right. Even the manager came up to me to let me know the prices were reduced for some part of the sections in case I wasn't aware. So yes, definitely would be going back to check more. Ingrid introduced me to the jeans, but couldn't find what I was looking for. However, I left feeling happy with what I got for now. Nice!

I have two teenaged daughters and every time we shop, the customer service is outstanding. Welcoming without being pushy, and a great vibe, which is dangerous, because we spend more! During our last visit, Leslie made a particularly great impression. She was always nearby, but not hovering, and helped us find more sizes multiple times. She took a lot of time with us and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you!

I visited there for the first time the other day and rashell was so attentive and made my experience so great. Can't wait to go back soon

Leslie was absolutely amazing, great customer service. She became my bestfriend while I tried on numerous pants. Leslie made me feel so welcome in this establishment more welcome than I have ever felt in any establishment. I even went back and brought two more items because of Leslie's phenomenal customer service. She deserves a promotion with a raise :). I will be coming back to this location just for Leslie's spectacular customer service. THANK YOU LESLIE !!!!

I went in today with the intent to return some boyfriend jeans and I was greeted by the most friendliest and helpful staff. I regret that I don't remember the cashier's name but I think it was Destiny. Her ID number is dt1688. She was AMAZING... She was so helpful. I loved the whole experience. I wish that everyone was like her in retail. thank you so much DT :).

I LOVE THIS AMERICAN EAGLE ! I came in on New Years days after working an opening shift and let me just tell you guys they have such an awesome team ! A beautifully organized store , the atmosphere was so upbeat, bright, and beautiful everyone was so nicely dressed and THE SALES WERE AWESOME ! This AE location makes you want stay and hang out there , they have 4 floors including an Aerie store which was absolutely stunning literally the cutest place to take pictures in , it's so cozy they have it so nicely decorated and UGH its smells amazing amazing amazing in there ! I saved a total of $130.33 and got so many cute things and at check out I was even given a free complimentary calendar for the new 2020 year and a pin with my personalized zodiac sign just for spending $50 or more on my purchase. I highly recommend if you're in NYC or in the midtown are of NYC this is the American Eagle to go to or just your go-to for the cutest , AFFORDABLE , and high quality clothing they're known for making !

I don't usually shop at AE but really like this store. I think it was recently redone with four levels, offering bras, underwear, and loungewear in addition to clothes. The staff here is extremely helpful. I couldn't spend more than a minute searching for size before someone offered to help me. It never seemed to be crowded in the evening, which is a plus. Cons: it seems like they don't have menswear there anymore.

While shopping today we stumbled upon this awesome young lady by the name of Destiny Thomas. Her service was 10 stars. We had a wonderful time shopping. Thanks again Destiny..

I went here in search of some jeans that were completely sold out online but were located in this store. Within minutes of walking in, a staff member assisted me and found my jeans in the back that I had been looking for. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. This store is a bit calmer than the one at Times, although it has less stocked items. The Aerie side of this store was phenomenal with multiple floors. Overall great atmosphere and great staff!

Susan was an amazing and wonderful person to work with. You can't get any better. Attentive and knowledgable. First time shopping for jeans in a long time. Will come back again and again with service like her's. A true gem of a team member for American Eagle Outfitters. Well done and Thank you!!
