I’ve been going to American Flowers for years and for the first time today, I met the owner! I didn’t know it was him, I walked in and he offered to make me a bouquet. Not knowing it was the owner, I quickly looked around and found the lady that normally makes my bouquets, but she was eating lunch. What I loved was that even though she stopped everything to make me the gorgeous arrangement shown here in the photos, he insisted that she not stop, and take her moments to rest and get her meal, showing me that he truly cared for this lady who has made my arrangements for years! I loved that! And even though I could stop the review right here, which displays an owners care and love for his employee, the real reason I’m sharing is because I drive all the way over from Westchester just to get his flowers. They are simply the best. Not only do they never disappoint in terms of how vibrant and beautiful they are, but they are the only flowers that stay alive longer than 2 days! If you buy flowers regularly, you know what I’m talking about. There’s nothing wrong with grabbing an arrangement from Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods…I’m guilty of it because it’s convenient and to be honest, they’re cheap. But they always die within 2-3 days. Even the farmers market flowers die in just 2-3 days. Abraham and his flowers here at American flowers…they last minimum 2 weeks! So if you want an amazing human experience PLUS getting the best flowers, please don’t think twice, don’t hesitate, go to Abraham at American flowers! I guarantee you will not regret it.

My experience was EXCELLENT. My mom’s flowers were so beautiful, beyond what I expected. They delivered same day and even called me to notify me nobody was home and asked what I wanted to do. Highly recommend American Flowers.

I ordered flowers from here twice, and on both occasions the bouquet was gorgeous and full. While they're more expensive than "store-bought" flowers, it was definitely worth it for a special occasion. Mo also deserves special recognition. I ordered flowers ahead of time for pickup immediately at open for the business on a Sunday and he not only prepared them ahead of time, but he immediately dropped what he was doing to grab it for me. I've been coming here for years. And as long as I live in this area this is where I'll go for all my plant and flower needs. The staff is friendly and there selections are always fresh. Be mindful that like any other flower shops, big holidays like mother's day will be busy or sold out of alot of popular arrangements or roses etc. But calling ahead of time for them to set aside something for you will guarantee your arrangement. They have their own parking lot that's shared with a Starbucks. BUT! they have spots reserved specifically for the flower shop.

Okay this is the best florist around . Amazing selection and quality David and Abraham are a Pleasure to work with I buy a lot of flowers. This is still a family-owned business, And a good value if you are in the area, and ask for the right items. The trick is to give them a budget, and pick out the flowers you like so you don't end up with a bunch of carnations and other cheap flowers. They will custom bundle with a ribbon and you'll end up with a much larger and personalized bouquet for less than a traditional florist, and even less than the market market or whole foods (perhaps still not as good a bargain as Costco flowers). Again, you have to make sure they don't use a bunch of junk flowers for filler, And they don't have a huge selection, but if you're nearby, it's worth a stop.

What an amazing flower shop! I was walking out of Starbucks and this radiant cactus was sitting in the window. I told myself and others - it's coming home with me! Greeted with a smile, I asked a few questions about the plant - SOLD! It was a great deal and they even gave me a free beautiful single stem rose and a bamboo! Put it a secure box so it wouldn't fall on my way home. I'll definitely see them again soon! To my plant baby...Welcome to Parker's Garden!

I came here on the morning of Valentine's Day to pick up flowers for my GF. Paid $50 for 6 roses. I understand it's the busiest day of the year, and I came the morning of... but I expected the wrapping to be better than this. If you zoom in closely, it's scotched taped together in an ugly brown paper that shouldn't be used to wrap the flowers. My girlfriend thought I had wrapped it myself and was surprised to hear this is how they wrapped it at the shop

I wanted to deliver flowers to my friend in Los Angeles, and used yelp to assist me in selecting a high-quality florist. I was not disappointed . The variety of flower arrangements along with the price influenced me a great deal in choosing this American Flowers. they are great communicators and kept me informed as requested throughout the entire delivery process. Although I haven't seen the flowers in person, my friend is raving about the quality and beautiful flowers she received. I am extremely happy that I chose American flowers .

I came here to pick up flowers for Valentine's Day. For $90 a dozen for roses, they gave me the most decrepit roses I've ever seen. The wrapping was sloppy and the staff was rude.

Stopped here the other day for a gift. It's been a long while since I've been here and I was surprised at how much they had to offer. Great selection of ready to go arrangements. Great contemporary selection of low compact arrangements.

I received the most gorgeous bouquet as a surprise for a very special day. The bouquet actually just stole my words, not just the artistry but it sang. It's perfectly arranged, and with love. Every single flower and leaf is intentional and not even a petal is wilted. EVERY FLOWER IS FRESH AND GORGEOUS!! Mo delivered the flowered himself, so the arrangement was perfect. And right to my door. My love knocked it out of the park. First time visiting this wonderful store! The owner Mohammed was very helpful and actually kept his store open for us after closing. He really saved the day and created an amazing bouquet for a memorial service. I will recommend this place to everyone! Stopped by for a birthday arrangement. Service was excellent. I was shown a wide variety of flowers to choose from including some from the back and not on display. After picking them out, they were thoughtfully and carefully arranged. I ended with nice arrangement of lilies. In addition to flowers there are a lot of regular houseplants from which to choose. Plenty of parking next to the Starbucks. They have several spots just reserved for their store.

Great florist in the West Los Angeles area. The staff was very friendly and in good spirits, and I felt very welcome and attended to when I arrived. They really listened to what I wanted and also gave me the best possible arrangement for the budget I had given them. Extremely happy with what I got and I definitely will be going to them again. Highly recommend. Definitely a true testament to you get what you pay for.

First-time customer. Came in with just a few ideas and a reasonable budget for some flowers to brighten up our home. Look at the beautiful bouquet they made for us! I watched as Mo and his staff walked around picking "one of these, two of these" then arranged them...the color, the variety, really outstanding! This is the place to go. Wow I'm blown away by this company! We're definitely ordering our flowers from here from now on They stay open pretty late and I was able to place my last minute order for delivery the very next day The flower arrangement was HUGE & just stunning for a $75 arrangement. (Trust me calling big companies like1-800flowers simply use local florists and take a cut from florists so you end up with a tiny arrangement) They delivered the flowers ON TIME & were professional, courteous and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Just for peace of mind, I called the shop to confirm my order and the person who I spoke with was so kind and accommodating, he even txted me a picture of arrangement before it was sent out for delivery. I worked at a florist shop in the past. I have some experience with the process. I gave all my information and let the associate know the delivery was for Thursday. I received a phone call on the Saturday before. I confirmed the delivery was meant for Thursday. I have now been charged but the recipient knows nothing of the order. Hopefully this can be resolved. The order was found but it was delivered after 2 PM. This seems late but I'm happy that the order was found the next day.

SHORT STORY: Friendly people. Lovely flowers. But if I had not come early to pick up my flowers, I would've been screwed. They made my wedding bouquet look very different than the example photo I sent them. LONG STORY: When I came in weeks prior to my wedding day to order the flowers, I spoke to Abraham, who was my primary contact for my bouquet order. I texted him a photo of exactly what I wanted. I spent around $200 for one bouquet and one boutonnière. My wedding day came, and I decided to pick up my bouquet early because I had some time. Thank god I did because I was extremely disappointed with what they made me. I understand that they will sometimes use different flowers depending on what the flower market has in stock, but they added all these weird colors (yellow and tan?) that were not in my photo I sent them. (See photos attached) It's like he didn't even look at my example photo. The nice Guatemalan lady who was working there that day kindly fixed my order (see third photo of fixed bouquet) and said it would take 30 min to fix it. I also had to ask her for water because Abraham said it would come with water, she then put it in a vase with water and told me I had to return the vase later. Interesting. If I came right at my scheduled pick up time, I would've been extremely disgruntled and given them one star. But since I came early and she fixed it, I'm giving them 3 stars.

I've been disappointed so many times before - not getting what it looks like online. But this spot did such an amazing job! We got flowers from here for the first time to send to a really great friend that's expecting! It was gorgeous! We're So pleased!!

Omg. I love this place. I've passed by it so many times and never walked in. Today I figured, "maybe this time I will keep a plant alive in my apartment". When I walked in I asked for a plant that can easily live inside. They said that everything In there is made to survive LA. I had to be careful not to buy the whole store because everything is so vibrant and beautiful. Anyways, I made my decision and the owner gave me two extra roses along with my purchase. So sweet and kind. I will be back! Highly recommended, esp if you live in the area. Support local!

I have been ordering flowers for delivery from online companies for a few years. Prices have gone up and the arrangements have only gotten smaller. I decided to order locally and am I so so happy that I did. David helped me out......he listened to what I was envisioning, selected yellow flowers as I requested, with a touch of color. My lord. I have never experienced such excellent customer service and special attention. The owner was in constant with me. I needed a rush same day delivery and they made it happen. I was blown away by the arrangement they created based on loose ideas I offered. And I imagined an arrangement half this size for the cost. They understood what I was looking for and created it completely custom. They even corrected grammar errors in my personal message to the recipient! I will never go anywhere else. Nor should. You!

I ordered these the night before delivery for a friend. I called the next day to be sure they received the order and they were so sweet and helped coordinate a best time. The arrangement was stunning! I had requested a few favorite flowers and they added them in seamlessly. The note was printed in very cute font on parchment paper. Incredible quality and service.

Finding this flower shop was a blessing. I was planning a celebration of life for my mother. Finding party rentals, etc. was not going great, so I pivoted to looking for flower shops. American flowers was the first location I found. I told the staff the colors and number of arrangements needed and they worked with me to figure out size and type of flowers. I left there confident knowing they cared about meeting my wants and needs. Fast forward to the day of the event. The flowers were simply beautiful the large arrangement exceeded my expectations! 20 HUGE STARS FOR MOE and AMERICAN FLOWERS!! I had my daughters UCLA grad today and called a few florists a few days ago that had yellow gold UCLA themed rose colors and they were all out. So I figured I would get up early the next morning, which is today, and call around for florists to make last minute bouquets. To my surprise most of the florists are closed on Sundays and there were only a few that were open spread out all over LA County. The one in Beverly Hills next to UCLA is actually located now in North Hollywood even though they still have the Beverly Hills address because of BLM. So I was already running late and my car broke down, and luckily Moe took my order over the phone and said he had yellow roses. I asked him to make a beautiful bouquet for me with a few white flowers. Not only did he exceed my expectations, the bouquet was so fresh and stunningly beautiful and my daughter stood out from everybody else who had your run-of-the-mill red bouquets LOL I was so proud! Moe also let me leave my car there at the express pick up parking dedicated to American Flowers and I was so appreciative because I was supposed to miss her graduation but because he got the bouquet done so quickly and allowed me to leave my car there, I was able to make it to UCLA graduation within 40 minutes!! How can you not love a small business that has this kind of passion for their customers? I thought he was going to give me the junkiest roses because I was desperate and asked him to make it within 15 minutes over the phone on a SUNDAY, when everyone else was closed today, but I really didn't care at this point because everything else was closed. The fact that he delivered superb flowers and made such a beautiful arrangement, I will be a customer for life and if anybody wants to buy me roses in the future, I would only request that it be purchased at American Flowers.
