I had a plug put in my tire and they did a great job and were very courteous the entire time. Also very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend checking these guys out for repairs before you go somewhere else.

Phil and his son are amazing to work with and the best mechanics I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. They have helped me more times than I can count with my F150 and Chevy Sonic. Most recently, I was traveling in Colorado and my radiator blew. Phil not only took the time to talk through the repairs with me on the phone and help me make an informed decision about whether to proceed, but then also called the Colorado mechanic to make sure they were only performing necessary services. These guys are seriously the nicest mechanics I've ever met. I think they're father and son, and I've been there 3 times now since 2022 for the job, I can only imagine they like the least — an inspection. They are so friendly, and chatty (in a good way), and genuinely seem to care and offer to help in any way in the future. I couldn't get in for an inspection last year, I must have come on a weekend, not thinking, and was afraid they'd closed, but they hadn't, thankfully. This is the place I will think of and use first going forward. These guys are legends, and make small communities like Red Hook a greater place to be. Thank you!

We have a glass shop in the area and Phil has been taking care of our trucks for almost 20 years. Never a problem, handles all our needs, tune ups, gas and any repairs are done quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommend to all.

"They look after you and your car". What more do you want in today's world? There's a great ice cream shop(owned and operated by the son right around the corner). Drop off my car or wait for them to fill up the tank and delicious ice cream in the summer. Seriously, there's not much more one need when you are dealing with your car, is there?

These guys are so nice. My engine coolant light went on and I was worried to drive anywhere and found they were a few blocks away. I called the owner who was friendly and assured me it would be fine to drive over and that I could come whenever. When I got there they quickly filled the coolant and said it didn't look like there was any leak (apparently common if you get a low coolant alert). And then they didn't even charge me! I will definitely be going back and sending my friends in the area. Car stuff can be so stressful and sketchy especially as a woman but they didn't make me feel stupid for being worried and were helpful and knowledgeable.

Phil and his son took great care of me when I was sent over with a couple of new tires ... I'd had a major flat from those cobblestones in Red Hook. In record time I was on my way. VERY reasonably priced, kind and friendly. Highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Check rates for parts before order the service. They replaced starter for the old 2001 ford van for $325. Owner stated that he paid $220 for starter. Autozone price $120 and eBay ~ $60. Anyway service is ok, just get your own part and pay for labor. Not recommended
