AMERON Hamburg Hotel Speicherstadt

Great hotel in a perfect location! We were warmly welcomed by a friendly young man at the reception (a trainee, as I later found out) – very professional and kind service. The hotel is super clean, our room was tidy and had an amazing view. Don’t miss the 7th floor terrace with a stunning view of the city!

Excellent Hotel located right in the heart of Hamburg. Super clean, they have excellent parking, staff are friendly. The washroom is nice, great shower. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby.

Very polite people working there, restaurant had excellent food. My room did not have fridge but the reception stored my beer and other things in the fridge and I could withdraw and deposit on daily basis. I recommend the hotel and will come back next time I am in Hamburg.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. When we arrived at the reception, the elderly man working there looked at us strangely and told us that there were no available rooms. However, when we checked the hotel’s website, it clearly showed several available rooms. We ended up booking a room online while sitting on the lobby sofa. When we returned to the reception and told him we had made a reservation online, he suddenly claimed that he “didn’t see it” and that there were rooms available after all. This back-and-forth was confusing and unprofessional. Eventually, we were given room 201, but to our surprise, it had no bed and was in a very dirty condition. We took photos and went back to the reception to report it. The receptionist acted surprised and claimed he had no idea about the state of the room, but he did give us a different room after that. The whole check-in process was stressful and poorly handled. The receptionist was not welcoming and came across as rude at times. It felt like we were not wanted there. This is not the kind of experience I expect when staying at a hotel, especially when paying for a night’s rest. Cleanliness, professionalism, and basic courtesy were all lacking. I do not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

We stayed two nights and found the location to be perfect with main attractions in walking distance or short bus/tube ride away.||||We loved the interior design of the lobby and bar, found breakfast good and the views from our window (river side) nice.||||Spa at the top was a nice too. ||

Beautiful surrounds, perfect location and good parking option attached to the hotel, great ambience, nice rooms. Plenty of great places in close walking distance. The kids slippers, glass and welcome pack was a lovely addition - this feels like an adult hotel which is friendly to kids. We didn’t eat at the hotel. Would absolutely return on future visits to Hamburg.

I had an absolutely wonderful 2-night stay at the AMERON Hamburg Hotel Speicherstadt! The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna and gym were exceptionally beautiful, creating a luxurious and inviting space to relax and recharge. The hotel’s location is perfect, especially for sunset lovers! The views were incredible. Plus, it’s conveniently close to the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure every need was met. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Hamburg!

Stayed here during my time in Hamburg, Germany during my Rotary International Convention. Located near so many activities especially the Hamburg Philharmonic! Staff was extremely helpful. Room very nice and convenient to so many attractions. Hamburg is an amazing city to see and you can't go wrong staying here to see it!

I have stayed here a couple of times including spending 2 weeks during my business trip to Hamburg. A converted warehouse to a modern hotel in Hafin City part of Hamburg, rooms are nicely appointed as well as the welcoming lobby. Interesting shower as both sides are clear glass windows, lets a lot of light in but you will have to pull the shades. The staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming with the goal of ensuring your stay is enjoyable. I love the "attached" Italian restaurant which you will have to walk across a foot bridge over a small river/canal. This restaurant serves a huge breakfast buffet with attentive staff. It does get busy in the morning so get there early so you can get a seat to eat. You can't go wrong visiting this property, clean, modern with friendly people ensuring you have a happy stay.

This is a newly designed hotel that is nicely appointed with polite staff. The only negative is that the gym is lacking in both equipment and space.
