AMERON Hamburg Hotel Speicherstadt

This is an excellent hotel with extremely professional staff. You are always made feel welcomed and appreciated. Checking in and out is pain free. Minor improvements for the business travellers could be implemented but in the main a great place to stay.

Great stay at this Hotel and it was conveniently located for sightseeing on foot. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with any questions we had. Dimitri L. And his staff treated us great and they made us comfortable in exchanging information about our countries. I highly recommend staying here and having a drink with great company. Visited Hamburg for the first time at the end of August, was given a great room overlooking the canal behind the hotel: only noise during the day was the occasional tourist boat going by but at night there was no noise whatsoever. I didn’t try the restaurant while was there but the hotel bar was stylish and compact and had a good choice of beverages.The hotel staff were all friendly and good at their jobs, only downside to my stay was that apart from the museums within walking distance, and the cinema opposite, there was not much within walking distance after dark (a small bar by the bridge but apart from that you have to walk or get a cab into the city centre ) Highly recommended though, I would stay here again.

Location is spectacular, it has amazing views to the river, staff is super friendly. Room, gym and Restaurant are very clean. The only reason I give 4 stars is due to gym, it’s extremelly small, lacks equipment and the opening hours are inconvenient.

Great Location, with fantastic views of the Speicherstadt. Quite expensive place for the service offered. Sauna open from 3pm to 9pm only. Wasnt possible to extend the stay by one night at the reception desk (No vacancies), but could book the room for another night through the website... Great breakfast (26 EUR per guest)

My favorite Hotel when staying in Hamburg on business trips. Polite, friendly and service-minded staff, clean room, comfortable bed, OK sized room, excellent location for my business purpose. All at a decent price.

We booked the Hafen City Junior Suite (we paid 392 Euro per night). The view is not good! From the room you dont see anything nice. Written on the internet is: "Regardless of whether you decide on the HafenCity or Speicherstadt junior suite, you will have a great view of Hamburg" which is not the case. We took instead a Comfort room (which would cost 178 Euro per night, unfortunately the hotel will charge us the suite price anyway) which has an amazing view. So save your money and go for the cheaper rooms with way better view.

Some hotels make things seem really easy, Hotel Ameron is certainly one of those. I stayed on business for 2 nights and simply cannot fault anything about this hotel. The staff, location, cleanliness and food are all absolutely perfect. Thank you, I would be sure to stay here again when visiting Hamburg.

Stayed here during my time in Hamburg, Germany during my Rotary International Convention. Located near so many activities especially the Hamburg Philharmonic! Staff was extremely helpful. Room very nice and convenient to so many attractions. Hamburg is an amazing city to see and you can't go wrong staying here to see it!

I have stayed here a couple of times including spending 2 weeks during my business trip to Hamburg. A converted warehouse to a modern hotel in Hafin City part of Hamburg, rooms are nicely appointed as well as the welcoming lobby. Interesting shower as both sides are clear glass windows, lets a lot of light in but you will have to pull the shades. The staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming with the goal of ensuring your stay is enjoyable. I love the "attached" Italian restaurant which you will have to walk across a foot bridge over a small river/canal. This restaurant serves a huge breakfast buffet with attentive staff. It does get busy in the morning so get there early so you can get a seat to eat. You can't go wrong visiting this property, clean, modern with friendly people ensuring you have a happy stay.

This is a newly designed hotel that is nicely appointed with polite staff. The only negative is that the gym is lacking in both equipment and space.
