My wife and I stopped into the bar for drinks and dinner, but the experience went downhill fast. While we were sitting in our booth, a mouse ran across the floor and straight under our booth. Needless to say, my wife refused to continue eating after that, and we moved to the bar to finish our drinks.
What made it worse was the server’s response. They acted like it was no big deal, casually mentioning that they’ve been trying to get rid of the mice but can’t because they serve nuts—and apparently the nuts make the rodents “tolerant to the poison.” Not exactly something you want to hear while eating dinner.
When we asked for the bill, there was no apology, no discount, nothing. We didn’t demand one, but honestly, after that kind of experience, it would have been the right thing for them to offer.
Overall, extremely disappointed. Cleanliness and customer care should be a priority, and neither seemed to matter here.
