We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We were two families having total of 4 adults and 4 kids. |Room - the room were quite nice and well furnished. The tea kettle / coffee maker was adequately stocked and we loved the lemon tea. Bathroom was decent sized and have no complaints. We came from India where hotels of this category usually have bigger rooms but I guess for Europe, smaller rooms are the norm. TV had very limited options for entertainment. But overall quite a lovely experience.|Location - very conveniently located, few 100m from the Train station. alsofrom the famous Chapel Bridge. Loved the location.|Food - Had a decent breakfast buffet spread. Coffee was quite lovely. No live station, that was a bit of a downer.|Overall - the staff was very courteous and well mannered. Overall, we had a lovely stay at the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location. Easy to walk from Lucerne train Station in less than 5 minutes, the hotel is close to all Sight seeing spots in Lucerne. Check-in was a breeze with Liuva whose cheerful disposition and welcoming demeanor made it memorable. The rooms are comfortable and then housekeeping efficient. The beds are comfortable, and we could sleep well after our long flights. Would not go anywhere else in Lucerne if we ever come here again. Did not try the breakfast, so I'm not commenting. Great value for the money spent. ||

Everyone was super sweet and friendly. Very attentive and helpful! My mom and I loved the beds and found the comfort room to be great! Breakfast had tons of options and it’s a shame I was only here for a night. Will check out other ameron hotels in the future now as well. Very well located and steps from the famous bridge

The rooms are really small. Let’s talk about the service: Pros: Housekeeping staff were amazing and really nice people. Cons:Front desk and restaurant staff were not the the best, sometimes “too square”, like not helpful or not being really friendly. Specially the restaurant waiters. In general the hotel offers nothing special (I don’t know how they have 4 stars when there not even room service in case you want to eat something) I wanted to use the fitness facility (that is not on site by the way, and they wanted to charge me 12F every time). I’m paying a fortune for the room, have to go somewhere else, and need to pay it extra!? Really!? The hotel is also too expensive for such as small room. By the way, don’t you ever pay for the “luxury floor” as, because they have tiny balconies, it has smaller rooms than the regular ones. I stayed in both types of rooms in the same stay. Last, but not least, read the reviews from some other people to understand the staff philosophy at the front desk, read the one in which somebody complains about having this night club under the hotel…the manager replies to the comment suggesting that next time “don’t be cheap and pay for the upper floors where you might be able to sleep without the noise”. (Of course not in these words). Long story short, go to another hotel, you’ll end up spending less and having a better room and experience.

Perfect location - minutes from the train station, the waterfront and an excellent art museum. Clean, quiet, comfortable and well appointed room. The staff was terrific - friendly, helpful, with a delightful sense of humor. Honestly, I wish I had spent more than one night at the Ameron, and if I find myself in Switzerland again, I will definitely stay there.

Fabulous location near to all the main sights and also in a quiet road. We slept well in the beds. Room was decorated in a quirky quite arty way and the minibar ws complimentary which is always nice. Room a bit small, thats all. Nice little balcony, but too hot to sit out there as it was 27 degrees in April!||Breakfast wasn't that great which is a shame. Not a lot of choice and my husbands hot cooked things were cold and stale tasting.||Lovely girl on reception lent me an adapter for my phone charger. I hadn't realised that Switzerland has its own plug sockets and not the ones like in the rest of Europe.

After staying in 3 other 4 star hotels prior to this one, I was very disappointed. Small rooms, awful outlook (dirt roof and goods in entrance) no drawers, kust shelves, no good for me as im short. There are no bathroom amenities. Not clear that standard rooms don't get a minibar FOC or pillow menu. Restaurant staff are slow, and the kitchen took forever to replenish food. Don't wait to be seated as you'll be there all day ! Water pressure and location are great.

Amazing hotel near Luzerne train station. Many bakery nearby. Hotel staff was friendly and kind, provided toiletries and water. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. Very short walk to the old town area which was great!
