Me & my wife spent 2 peaceful nights at Amet Haveli in early July, and it felt like stepping into a timeless Rajasthani postcard. Located right on Lake Pichola, this 350-year-old haveli offers more than just a stay, it offers a story.
🌅 Ambience
The haveli is rich in heritage charm, arched corridors, blooming courtyards, and stone-carved pillars. The real magic? The view. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, you’re looking out at Ambrai Ghat, City Palace, and the floating Taj Lake Palace. Calm, scenic, unforgettable.
🛏️ The Stay
Our Lake View Suite was royal and peaceful. Pristine white interiors, carved details, and a cozy jharokha-style window nook where we spent hours just gazing at the lake. Not a sound from outside, just silence and serenity.
🍽️ The Food
All meals at Ambrai Restaurant were excellent.
Must-tries: Gatta curry, puri aloo, toast & coffee, brownie with vanilla ice cream.
Meal cost: ₹2500–₹3000 per couple.
The staff was friendly, thoughtful, and even helped with photos.
Even if you’re staying elsewhere, come here for a meal.
