Thankyou to the lovely staff member who fixed a custom drink and made it perfect 👌 the sauce with the steak is perfection theres nothing like it anywhere else and I'd encourage others to give it a try you won't be disappointed. The Italian in me for whatever reason didn't feel not like steak for the choice when going to such a lovely Italian restaurant so while away, I got a taste of it though and had to come back a few night later and my friend and I both ordered it it was that good. They got their perfect cocktail again, and I had the most delicious house cocktail. Thankyou it's was all delicious and perfect. All of the food was amazing, but that steak and sauce 🤌 All of the staff were perfect level of kind and courteous with attention to detail and making sure everything ok while being helpful. As an ambulatory wheelchair user who uses a powerchair, it is often a nightmare going one for meals. I never know how staff will react to needing to make room for a large power chair and it "being in the way" for the first time in a long time I felt normal again despite being in my chair they just made adjustments and didn't change tone of voice, show it on their faces or any other way no annoyance at having to move things. Thankyou! Being able to just have dinner and enjoys it and not worry made it all the more perfect it should be standard but it isn't hence my writing all this, all the staff did all the right things please keep it up. Please keep being a safe and welcoming place for wheelchair/powerchair users there arent alot of safe places. I'm also having to eat gluten loved how gluten free friendly the menu was! I ordered their gluten free carbonara takeaway the first night then when going back a few nights later got it again because it was absolute divine creamy heaven 🤤 (I can not comment on the bathroom and if it is WC friendly as I never used the facilities)

Cosy and beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere. The food was amazing and so delicious. The service was outstanding - the best I have ever experienced. It was very busy when we visited and we didn't have a reservation but we were given a very comfortable booth to sit and wait, the opportunity to order drinks and entree and the staff made sure we were well looked after. It didn't take long to get a table either. Highly recommend We will definitely visit again!

Our table of 4 enjoyed our dining experience. Arancini balls for entree- beautiful. We all enjoyed our mains. And the chocolate brownie for dessert was the best brownie I’ve ever eaten. Waitress was attentive and lovely. We’ll certainly visit again on our next trip to Caloundra.

We’ve been coming to Amici for over 6 years and it’s always an absolute treat. The Italian food is nothing short of amazing fresh, full of flavour, and consistently perfect. Jason, the chef and owner, is truly the best. You can taste the passion and love he puts into every dish. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special. Easily one of our favourite places to dine!

Had a great meal here last night with friends. Was so engrossed in the catch up i forgot to take pics. I had the lasagne and it was good. The other 3 had pasta dishes and all said they were good. This is quite a pricey place but service, presentation and food was first rate. Perfect for a special occasion.

We have been going to Amici's since they opened. The food, the atmosphere the professionalism of the staff, has always been to an amazing standard. The staff are obviously well trained and it's always a pleasure to dine there. My wife has food sensitivities and as everything is made fresh, they have no problem accommodating her requirements. Of course the food is always amazing! I love the Spanish Prawn Pizza and I add fresh Chili's. Our favorite Italian restaurant by far!

Celebrated my 55th birthday here last night with a group of friends and had the best meal and time! The food was impeccable (hot, fresh and delicious), the service was 5 stars and the venue, beautiful! We are just sorry to other patrons for being such a loud group…. Would definitely recommend this awesome authentic restaurant!

My family and I stopped in here one night for dinner on a whim. Walked in and asked for a table for four and was seated fairly quickly. Honestly, we got lucky, so I recommend booking in advance. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and entrees, and everything was amazing. Service was a little slow, but they were busy and I don't hold that against them. Great meal and service overall. Would definitely come back here again.

Really elegant and hopping place serving great Italian food. The pizza was amazing and so was the bruschetta. A little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out.

I wasn't impressed... I was enticed in to this place by the pictures here on Yelp but when I actually tried the food I was not impressed. The risotto balls entree was good but didn't come with enough sauce for me, and the risotto had a horrible taste and texture. I ended up switching main courses with a friend because I was about to send it back. I ended up eating the crumbed snapper but it was just fried snapper with mayonnaise... some sort of flavor of something would have been much nicer. I wouldn't return. The good news is, that even sitting outdoors we were nice and toasty by the heaters.

We ended up here two nights in a row. All of us, including the kids were so impressed by the food and service that the kids begged us to go back a second time. I had the vegetarian pizza which was covered in fresh vegetables and and but still light and tasty. My eldest son asked for a variation on the menu and they were very happy to accommodate. The kids menu is really well done too. Finally, my partner had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola... so good! Desert was amazing too. I really wanted to try the Sticky Fig Pudding but liked my son's suggestion of warm apple pie with ice cream, which was great. My partner had an affogato and it was the best affogato either of us had ever had. So tonight I am basically back to try the pudding because it's going to be amazing. The thing I really loved was the old fashioned professional service. The staff were so attentive. Water was always full. Everything was clean and the staff kept a really good check on our needs. We managed to get a table both times but I would book ahead just in case.

The food was pretty spectacular. We walked in without knowing you needed to make reservation. The host told us we could wait for the next table and it wouldn't be long. Little did we know they forgot about us and gave our table to the group that arrived after us. So we ended up waiting longer than expected. The food made up for the crap service in the beginning. Select pastas are $12 on Wednesday's. What a steal!

The Short: Probably one of the best pizza meals I've had in recent memory. Price reflects quality. The Long: Had a great experience here for take away dinner. Chose the Barbeque Classic Pizza, and a Garlic Cheese Toppa. We decided upon the small size for both pizzas, and we're kind of glad we did. The Barbeque Classic was *loaded* with toppings. LOADED. And the toppings were high quality. Great tasting ham and bacon, with spicy pepperoni (well-rendered and crispy), shredded chicken hiding under all those smallgoods, and this delicious, sweet, BBQ sauce drizzled over the top. The Garlic Cheese Toppa was nice, but I did find it repeating terribly on me throughout the night because the garlic seemed a bit raw when we ate our item. On both of these items, the bases were the perfect balance between thin and crispy, but not so crispy that they flaked everywhere like the Pizza Hut thin and crispy of days gone. Clearly prepared fresh on-site. Apart from that minor negative about the garlic, the experience is one we would relive time and time again if we were locals to Caloundra.

I enjoyed the very best risotto dish 'Risotto Al Monti'. Service was great, beautiful fit out in their new location. Bookings are a must and I can see why they are so popular!

So glad we followed Trip Advisor and came here. The food is plentiful, fresh, and very tasty! We will come here again before our holiday is over. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is comfortable. The service was outstanding.

Nothing that can't be cooked at home out of a pasta sauce bottle. Take away pizzas are the best bet

I was initially attracted to this place by the 4 star rating on yelp! The service was a tad slow and when the enormous pizzas arrived I saw the familiar second rate ham out of a bag. The pizzas were ok but at 32 dollars each I expected spectacular. The wait staff were lovely and accommodating but the meal tarnished the evening.

Thanks Amici team. Last night on the Sunshine Coast included an excellent, good-value meal at Amici. Welcome and service throughout was first rate - a very pleasant surprise in this relaxed holiday town. Well done Amici team

Ordered in Pizza. Great service and the Pizza was fabulous. But yet again, back in Oz and everything is expensive.

As we are locals, we always try and use the restaurants within our area, been to Amici before and my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, meals were great and the service you couldn't fault. We went there last night (Saturday), just the two of us and completely different. We arrived a few minutes before our booking, got seated straight away, order our drinks, got them straight away, ordered our meals for the night, starting off with a garlic bread, received that almost straight away and then we were sitting there and sitting there for a good half our still waiting for our main meal. I approached one of the waiters and she said she would follow it up, but again nothing, mean while we had finished our bottle of wine(thought we were going to have it with our meal), we again approached the male waiter whom seemed to have a bit more authority, and came back, said it would be another 3 mins. In all we waited 45 mins for our meal, no drinks to drink with it and the meal wasn't that good, had a regular it looked like a small meal. What annoyed us also, people who came in after us(at least 30 mins) had their meals delivered to them and were gone before we got ours. The only apology we received was from the male waiter who had informed the owner and chef. I think it will be a long time before we go back again. As locals I like to support, it makes it hard, had we been in a group it might have been different

Always excellent service and great food! Takeaway option is great for pizza, not so much for mains. Always busy so you'll need to plan ahead and book, especially on weekends.

Great food at a great price. We had a large gourmet pizza between 2 and they put the left overs in a box. The kids meals were decent with a drink and ice cream do all for $10. Had a good range of alcohol at a reasonable price too. 9 of us went there and we were all very happy with it.

Perfect every time. The best Italian restaurant and pizzas on the Sunshine coast. Without a doubt. Make sure you book in advance though always booked out.

We tried this place in 2015 and decided to go back on our next trip up the coast. Definitely didn't disappoint. Big serves so be prepared. Hubby had Rigatoni Gamberi and it was slightly too spicy, though listed as having spice, he wasn't expecting the heat it had. Sad that several buses rolled on passed but it didn't distract too much from our enjoyable meal. Great for families.

I love love love Italian food. But unfortunately I didn't like my experience at Amici Cafe. We had two pastas, my partners was fine; it was tasty, the pasta was cooked well and we couldn't really fault it at all. Now I'm not sure whether it's just my taste or whether there was a huge problem with the making of the dish I ordered. Pasta with zucchini, prawns, garlic and olive oil. It came out very soup-like, it was drowned in sauce which was the consistency of water and the only thing I could taste was Parmesan cheese. It was like eating a fist full of salt. The waitress however was quite helpful when she asked if our meals were ok; I explained mine was incredibly salty. She was kind enough to offer and then take it back to the kitchen. I was presented with a "less salty" dish which was no different. So I didn't eat it again. I was disappointed they'd charged me the full price for a dish I didn't eat twice. But hey, as I said in the beginning of my review maybe it's just my taste. As I totally get that this place has some great reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp which is why we thought we'd give it a go. So, I'd say try it! My review is really only based on my experience... As it should be.
