Amigos Del Mar Tour Center

Easily visible and a huge dive shop. Have lots of people diving with them each day. I found them on the internet and was also recommended to me by another tour operator. I started communicating with them before visiting Belize and I conveyed my requirements. But when I reached, they didn’t have that tour that day and so had to stay back in San Pedro for another day. On the day of the dive, on the boat, I found that the regulator was half-bitten off by someone and the person who prepared the tank hadnt checked it and neither did I until the time for the dive. I had to use the aux for that dive. Also the old fin snapped off before the first dive, while adjusting and, the Captain began to blame me for its failure. Also the best part is that they do not practice buddy check. So your safety is in your hands! However, the dive master was a great guy. He checked the group often and was available when in need. Lastly, they are expensive. I had booked a whole day with 3 dives and a snorkel and the lunch was not included in that.

We went with Chris and Eldo and it far exceeded our wildest expectations. I cant say enough good things. The two guides were professional helpful and just a ton of fun!

Had a great time snorkeling with this team of guides. Went to Hol Chan Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Chris was in the water with us at Hol Chan and showed us around for about an hour, point out all sorts of fish, rays, shells, and found us a turtle! He kept us safe and made sure we had fun. Thank you!

Booked the Blue Hole dive trip through White Sands dive shop. It wasn't great weather and the sea was extremely rough. It took 2.5 hours to get to the Blue Hole. The dive masters were excellent. Super attentive, calm, experienced and helpful. The Blue Hole dive was not that interesting because not much to see, but it was cool to go to 130 feet. The half moon wall was the best dive I've ever done. We saw all kinds of stuff - reef shark, turtle, stingrays, huge groupers, lobster, other fish I don't know the name of and beautiful coral. We were supposed to do the Aquarium after lunch (which was delicious), but it was too rough so the last dive wasn't quite as interesting. Then had a long boat ride through rough waters home. Despite the conditions, the dive masters and captain did a fantastic job taking care of us and making the trip fun. Very much enjoyed our trip.

We did the all day Blue Hole tour. Takes about 2 hours to get there from San Pedro. Spent a few hours at Half Moon Caye, a beautiful island with endangered species on it. There are several snorkling and dive spots along the way that we stopped at. If you only want to see the Blue Hole, flying will give you the best view. If you want to explore, dive, and snorkel, this is a great tour. We even saw whales up close. I’m glad we went with this option.

Amazing dive shop and excellent diving experience!! I completed my SSI dives 3&4 with Amigos and it was the most incredible experience!! My dive master was calming, knowledgeable and a joy to dive with. He made our experience so special that we dove with Amigos the rest of the week. Each dive site and mater were phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back and dive with them again!!

Amazing!!!!! We dove with kyle the entire week. He was absolutely amazing…..the dives were amazing!!!! I would highly recommend this dive shop. Ask for kyle. I was there only a couple of days and wanted to get a condo on the island because I loved diving with kyle and amigos Del Mar so much Super friendly, very accommodating I will be visiting again and will absolutely be looking for kyle to dive with at amigos Del Mar My wife has only dove with me in the past, kyle made her feel so comfortable she dove a night dive without me for her first dive without me I miss you kyle

(February 2024) Blue Hole tour, best dives ever. Amigos Del Mar Dive Shop is an excellent dive shop with very professional staff and Dive Masters. Unfortunately there boat broke down but they managed to borrow one so we could still go on our tour. The boat ride is 2 to 2 1/2 depending on wind. We dove the Great Blue Hole and it was incredible, we drove to 136 feet and saw the stalactites and stalagmites. We then drove 15 minutes to Half Moon Caye and dove a projected reef, the underwater wildlife was amazing. We saw reef sharks, big grouper, lobster and a ton of tropical fish. After the second dive we went to the caye for a fantastic lunch and 30 minutes to explore the island. The 3rd dive was the aquarium, that was another great dive, lots of wild life. I have over 80 dives, including Maui and alot of the Caribbean, this tour was my favorite by a long shot and strongly recommend, enjoy.
