Amigos Del Mar Tour Center

I did two days of diving with Amigos Del Mar - Turneffe and Blue Hole. Both great but Blue Hole was fantastic. Jon, our dive leader for the day was thorough in his briefing and the whole crew were well organized and caring of all the divers on the boat. Lunch was delicious and served on time. The Blue Hole dive itself was phenomenal. Don't get your hopes up that you'll see wildlife or biodiversity, just enjoy the beauty of the sinkhole and be vigilant of your air and buoyancy. The depth and darkness of this ecosystem is unbelievable and makes for a unique dive. Definitely bring extra towels if you can and brace yourself to be on the boat for 2-3 hours going and coming. Overall, recommend diving with Amigos!

Best day we had in Belize was with Amigos Del Mar diving the Blue Hole! These dive masters are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They are whipping around in the water ensuring everyone is okay all the time and they literally saved a couple people’s lives on our day. They’re great to just hang out with and the whole day was just back to back incredible diving. My favorite dive site yet is the one right after the blue hole (HMC). Lunch was also super tasty!

Easily visible and a huge dive shop. Have lots of people diving with them each day. I found them on the internet and was also recommended to me by another tour operator. I started communicating with them before visiting Belize and I conveyed my requirements. But when I reached, they didn’t have that tour that day and so had to stay back in San Pedro for another day. On the day of the dive, on the boat, I found that the regulator was half-bitten off by someone and the person who prepared the tank hadnt checked it and neither did I until the time for the dive. I had to use the aux for that dive. Also the old fin snapped off before the first dive, while adjusting and, the Captain began to blame me for its failure. Also the best part is that they do not practice buddy check. So your safety is in your hands! However, the dive master was a great guy. He checked the group often and was available when in need. Lastly, they are expensive. I had booked a whole day with 3 dives and a snorkel and the lunch was not included in that.

My wife and I took a half day snorkeling tour and loved it! Chris was super! We got a history lesson and he took care of the people that were anxious! He was fun, responsible, and took us to the best spots! We highly recommend this tour!

We did the all day Blue Hole tour. Takes about 2 hours to get there from San Pedro. Spent a few hours at Half Moon Caye, a beautiful island with endangered species on it. There are several snorkling and dive spots along the way that we stopped at. If you only want to see the Blue Hole, flying will give you the best view. If you want to explore, dive, and snorkel, this is a great tour. We even saw whales up close. I’m glad we went with this option.

My family (me, husband, 87 year old dad and 2 sisters) snorkeled the Blue Hole, and the Aquarium. Jeremy was our guide. Can not say enough about the whole experience. Jeremy was very, very attentive to my dad and super patient. My one sister doesn't swim so he had her to deal with and my husband had an issue with his flipper and mask(brought from home). All of this and Jeremy stayed cool and calm and got them all back safely to the boat. I would definitely book and excursion with Amigos Del Mar again and will recommend them to anyone going to Belize. Super experience. Super day at sea.

This is a very professional dive center. They provide very high-quality equipment and you feel very safe diving with them. I dive with them into the Great Blue Hole. To go diving in Belize and not see it, would be dumb. It's a two-hour rough boat ride... too long for my standards. The Great Blue Hole dive was only a 25-minute dive, with 5 minutes bottom time at 40 m / 130 feet. Stalagmites and stalactites were cool things but too dark for my taste. I am glad I went, but will not go there again. The two dives after that - Half Moon Caye, and the Aquarium, were quite good. Also, lunch on Half Moon Caye island and the walk around it made the long boat ride worth it.
