Amihan Restaurant Pizzeria Malapascua

Food tastes okay here, but nothing special. Service on the entire island is extremely slow for some unknown reason to us, so the first dishes come at the fastest here in over half an hour (even if you order a simple salad). The view is quite nice, but food will be slightly above average. The calamari was quite nice, but it doesn’t come with the appropriate sauces, such as tartar sauce. Still recommended.

The food was well-prepared and flavorful, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying. What made the experience even better was the warm hospitality. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming, making us feel at home. The atmosphere was also pleasant, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. If you’re in Malapascua and looking for a place with good food and friendly service, Amihan is definitely worth a visit!

I was somewhat conflicted reading the reviews - figured I'll give it a shot ... did not let me down Beautiful location, friendly staff and the food tastes good ( Mozzarella sticks (great) and Beef Adobo (good) and Affogato (good)) So while its not the cheapest place still very decent and romantic !

The food was tasty and well-prepared, and the service was friendly. The only downside was that our dishes took around 40 minutes to arrive, which was a bit disappointing since the meals themselves were very good. The staff made the atmosphere really pleasant by setting up two fans for us, which created a lovely breeze and made it very comfortable to sit and enjoy the evening. Overall, a nice restaurant with good food and a welcoming vibe.

Amihan Restaurant in Malapascua was a delightful surprise, offering a diverse menu with Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian influences. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; we especially enjoyed the carbonara, pizza, and surprisingly tasty potato croquettes.  The restaurant's location atop a cliff provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Logon Beach, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, especially during sunset. The service was fine, though perhaps not the most attentive.  However, this minor detail didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the experience. The combination of delicious food, stunning views, and reasonable prices makes Amihan a must-visit. If you find yourself in Malapascua, be sure to make your way to Amihan Restaurant.  You won't be disappointed by the incredible food or the mesmerizing view. It's the perfect place to relax, indulge, and soak in the beauty of the island.

One of the nicest restaurants I've eaten at anywhere in the Philippines. The view, the place itself is very well kept and beautiful. The food was beautiful and perfectly cooked. I had the seafood BBQ, it was the best piece of fish I've had in a while, squid was great. My only complaint is that I'm not a big fan of peeling my own shrimp 🦐 after it's cooked, but I realize it's a thing here. The service was average, not complaining....not sure why but service at restaurants here is hit or miss even at my favorite places, great one day awful the next. The only other complaint I could have was no service water, had to buy water ( Against the law now, every restaurant especially good ones are supposed to provide drinking water ) . But really it's a small issue, for a few pesos more we got to eat very well in very nice place.

This restaurant is a superb!! Beautiful place plus tasty dishes, a perfect equation for a good place to eat. If you happen to search for a place with authentic Italian food, go visit them!

Food is 4 stars, service is 2 stars. We had a pizza and the seafood plate (both were delicious) but they both arrived 40 minutes after ordering. A later table got their food earlier than we did. For this price range, I'd expect better. House wine is good and reasonably priced. Would come back for the ambiance, definitely one of the cozier restaurants in the island. Also to try their pasta.
