I didn’t experience all the issues that previous travelers had encountered. It is a big modern hotel that appeared quite clean. Many rooms have a nice view. Quiet and a 10 minute walk to the town center. The bed complaints are quite spot on. The mattresses are inexpensive and beyond their useful life. I had to rotate the mattresses to make them barely tolerable. Mattress comfort is a big consideration in my rating. The rooms are of a standard size. I also agree that avoiding the restaurant is a good idea. A bit below what I would expect from the 5th best hotel in Korcula.

This hotel is just on the edge of Korcula, a 10 minute walk from the old town. It is the perfect location, away from the centre, right on the water, the dining veranda looks over the harbour to the old town. Gorgeous! The rooms are functional, cleaned every day. The hotel is quiet, and very friendly and responsive. The food was great! There is a large buffet for breakfast having every kind of breakfast you could want from eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereals, fruit all kinds of breads, croissants, cheeses and meats. Dinner buffet is very good and with lots of choice. Some reviews have mentioned that there isn’t a wide choice, but there is a good variety of all kinds of main dishes, vegetables, vegetarian and meat and fish dishes . I would definitely come back, an extremely pleasant stay!

Very let down by this hotel. The Room Firstly, do not book a so called "superior room", the only redeeming feature of the hotel is the view, and we were stuck in room looking at waste space with some plants. It was like being in the basement. Didn't use the balcony once, cannot believe i paid extra for it. Though being a superior room it came with a bath, should have been nice if the bath didn't take nearly 45 minutes to fill up. Other issues- No mini bar menu so no idea what anything cost Poor bed linen thin and not good quality, the beds needed replaced as well Poor thin towels, needed replaced everyday There was a disgusting plaster on the hair dryer. No information on the hotel except that which was given out in reception but this very poor. The Bar Small and no atmosphere, no music played. The amount of wine they gave you in a glass was a complete joke for the price. I thought they were letting me taste the wine at first and then i realised that was all of it! The so called happy hours were a joke too, offer you about a euro off an aperol spritz between 5 and 6 and then a gin and tonic between 8 and 9 and that was it! We never really drank there after the first night and there was a nice bar on the way to town called Banje that was very simple but had more atmosphere and better food and drink. This sounds like i drink a lot but i don't, but on holiday you like to relax somewhere in the evening and we just went back to the room. Restaurant I would recommend not paying for half board and if you could have not paid for breakfast i would have done that too. The food was woeful. Breakfast Terrible coffee (powder milk in the machine) Fruit juices were basically diluting juice and with sugar levels that would destroy your teeth The Yogurt was watery Toast (the machine that made toast took 15 mins so i gave up in the end) And the rest was bog standard, we stopped really having much other than ham and cheese Dinner As someone else commented, it was like poor school dinners, the same old stuff nearly every night. And as others have commented you have to pay for any kind of drink including water. This would be ok but you would have to pay for 4 glasses of their size of wine to make up one normal glass. And the prices were not cheap for the drinks. I think thats why they allow you to sign everything to you room so you don't realise how much you paid. Again like the bar after a few nights we stopped going to dinner even though we had paid as it was so poor. Pool Pool area was very small and cramped, not relaxing at all. The outside areas in general were poor. Overall if there was was thing this hotel was good at it was mediocrity. It is the definition of meh! if even one thing had of been above average i would have been happy. But there were much nicer places to stay. I think it only stays open because of the endless stream of Americans who stay one or two night when on longer trips and so they don't care as much.

I was surprised to see how patchy the reviews were here as my group were quite happy with this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had both breakfast and buffet dinner, both of which were excellent. There's a nice pool and it's only a few steps to to the walking path along the sea. Brilliant view across the water to Korcula old town and a pleasant 10 minute walk to get there.

Tea at front desk is very nice. Rooms are spacious but look old, as do hallways. I was expecting a nicer resort for the price paid. However views from terrace by restaurant are really beautiful. Lots of food during buffets. Easy walk to old town. Young Croatian busboy at restaurant with brown hair was really nice also.

Just back from another amazing stay at the Liburna Hotel Korcula. Our 3rd year staying here for 11 days again. Superb room overlooking the marina and old town with views that you can never grow tired of. |Stayed half board and breakfast was fantastic with such a varied selection and choice on offer. Evening dinner was also good with a great selection of meat/Fish and vegetarian dishes being served. Getting in to old town is an easy 10/15 minute walk with plenty of restaurants /shops/supermarkets and going down in the evening is a must as the atmosphere changes when all the superyachts and charter boats arrive . Just a note of warning that cruise ships do visit the island now so just be mindful when going down during the day.We managed to see The Festival of Lights this year and wow what a spectacle. Finally we must thank all the staff at the hotel for their kindness and hospitality but special mention to Tee on reception and Milo the General manger who have made our stay even more special this year. See you in 2026.|Hvala od scra❤️🇭🇷.

We stayed 2 nights in a superior room with balcony. Comfortable enough but nothing remarkable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and typical of most hotels but no fresh juice available (only squash) which is disappointing. What makes this hotel is its fantastic location and super friendly, helpful staff. The hotel faces across a small bay to the old town which is a 10-20 minutes walk away. You get to stare at Korcula in all its glory while eating breakfast on a sunny terrace! The reception staff were very helpful in rearranging a pre booked tour for us. ||A lift connects reception level to the bar and dining and pool levels though the toilets are situated on a mezzanine level which is odd and challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The 10am check out time is a bit inconvenient. ||This is a smart place to stay for a visit to Korcula (and we would consider it again) though it does feel like a good hotel when it has the unrealised potential to be great.

Great experience here! Highlights include 1) an amazing breakfast spread that is included in the room rate (cold cuts, cheeses, cooked veggies, raw veggies, cereals, yogurts, baked goods, fresh fruit, veggie patties, egg dishes, etc.), 2) a lovely swimming pool with salt water, 3) spacious bathroom compared to many of our other accommodations in Croatia. It's a bit of a walk from the ferry (15 minutes up some hills but no stairs), but overall not too bad. Easily accessible by car/bus and hence many tour groups stay here. We were on a DIY vacation but still chose to stay here and were very comfortable.
