Family of 4, two middle aged parents with two older teenage girls.|Arrived at the Liburna halfway through our holiday, due to a bad experience at another hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive if they tried. Lady at reception gave a run through of all the hotel offered, and we went to our rooms. |Rooms are neatly decorated, bathrooms spacious and clean, with a bath/shower, rather than just a shower.|Dinner is the standard hotel buffet, with a varied selection for most palettes. Dinner can be taken indoors or outdoors, overlooking the bay and old two . Views from this are stunning.|Drinks for dinner have to be paid for, even table water.|Pool is salt water, opens at 8am, and although small, was never crowded.|Easy walk of about 10mins to reach the centre of the old town. |There is a small pebble beach close by, but you’ll probably need those funky beach shoes to enter/exit the sea.|Theres a spa at the hotel, with 3 workers who offer massages etc. My wife and 2 girls all had treatments at the same time, which is a nice add-on.|Reception called a cab for us to visit Lumbarda beach, and this was 20 euros one way at the time of writing. Driver picked us up at end of day for return journey. |There isn’t any entertainment as such, bar some musicians/singers at dinner. This isn’t a problem though, as being so close to the town, you just walk there instead.|I would advise that this hotel is definitely more for adults, than children, but there were a reasonable amount of families staying. Not sure how they kept the little ones entertained though!|Only way to improve on what they offer would be the option of at least table water for dinner. Having to pay 4 euros for a small water at dinner is a bit much when you really can’t do anything else.
