We stayed 8 nights in this peaceful hotel in Brna, Korčula. The location is stunning — every room has a sea view (ours had a balcony). The room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Some TV channels didn’t work during our stay.
Breakfast and dinner were good, with a lovely seaside terrace that was never too crowded. Gluten-free bread was available at breakfast.
Beach area has quality sunbeds and umbrellas, but many people reserve them all day without using them. The beach bar has a great view and some very kind staff, but food options are mostly fast food and the atmosphere was sometimes unpleasant due to loud music and singing from the open kitchen. There were also inconsistencies in staff performance: one male waiter (tall, with a very short haircut) seemed uninterested and didn’t do much. Another male waiter, however, was very polite and helpful. Women were really friendly.
The small gym was clean, with towels and solid equipment, though missing lighter weights and cardio machines.
Cleaning staff were friendly and thoughtful.
The sea is clean, refreshing, and deep, though entry steps are slippery and there are sea urchins. Parking is tight and could be better organised.
Unfortunately, during a medical situation, restaurant staff didn’t react, which was disappointing. Reception eventually helped with transport to the emergency in Blato and got us driver to take us there and return back to hotel. We left a day early but no refund or gesture was offered.
