Just having had a somewhat bad experience in an Asian restaurant close-by, I was really surprised how good this one is:
As a single person, I was able to sit on a small table for two on a comfortable couch in the back with a view out the window. The waiter:esses are all very friendly and picked up my order instantly which was a tofu dish with rice and pepper - the exact same one I placed on the other restaurant to get a comparison. It took them approximately 10min to get my dish on this beautiful plate. The cutlery was already at the table so I had the option of using single-use wooden chopsticks, a spoon, knife and fork. In addition, there was a bottle of soy sauce, salt, pepper, a transparent liquid which I didn't know what it is and a bowl of sambal olek.
The food was at the right temperature: very warm but not burningly hot, and it tasted very well. The tofu had a spongy texture and complemented the pepper, rice and sweet balsamico-soy sauce it came with well. The rice was initially rather plain but got flavourful with some salt and soy sauce.
The restaurant is quite small with a rather calming atmosphere thanks to the black walls and warm hanging lamps. When I wanted to pay, I had to wait a bit because there were many customers, however after a minute, even a waitress apologised politely and said that her co-worker will show up soon. I was surprised at how inexpensive the whole meal was so I tipped them - and altogether I paid less than at Feine Sichuanküche - my comparison restaurant close-by - because unlike there, I wasn't charged for rice extra and the drink was 1/6 of the price.
