Searched for a place to eat nearby after a disastrous experience with another pub we tried to visit, as we're not from the area. But glad we found it as we received great service, a warm welcome, friendly staff, and great tasting food. There was 10 of us dining. We didn't wait long for food to be delivered to the table. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Great value priced! Certainly will visit again, I'd make a special trip from Birmingham to eat here again. Pub was clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much for the short notice booking. If you want 5 star service then book yourself a table.

Staff were great. Sunday lunch not so great. Undercooked veg, overcooked roast potatoes, grisly and fatty slow cooked ribs. However lovely staff took it back and exchanged for roast beef - which was better (although the veg was still undercooked).

Fantastic Food and service to match. I ordered the fish and chips and was dubious as the fish was something different to cod and haddock. I thoroughly enjoyed it My partner had the jerk chicken and that was phenomenal too. We will definitely be back

Bobby was really friendly at the bar this evening and all staff coped really well on a v busy evening in the pub. AJ was very friendly and waited on our table. Fantastic last minute meal out. Gammon & Korean Beef ribs were gorgeous!!

Good food at incredible prices; not small portions either. Two lunch time meals for £13.49! Monday to friday. That's right two! Public house - typical local - on one side of the horse shoe bar and eating area around the other side : best of both worlds. Good size beer garden.

Booked for Xmas dinner as Tamworth was half was between family members. Very busy pub that day. Starter and desserts were 10/10 excellent. The main was somewhat disappointing for a Christmas dinner. No parsnips, one pig in blankets, all just a little dry. 6/10 for the main. The staff however were amazing. Very attentive and full of festive cheer! They were excellent, 10/10

Liv was an incredible server. Always checking in to see if everything was okay with food and drinks, catered to any needs we had at the table. The only let down was the portion size on the wings. Service was incredible but the food portion size was a little disappointing

Very lovely staff and we all enjoyed our dinners served by a polite Member of staff called AJ , we definitely recommend the Mac & Cheese!
