This is a very nice establishment with friendly workers. Fresh bread there was baked that morning. Antique items are sitting on high shelves above the products.

Pleseant small shop area for sitting reading. Stopped in looking for an item, but they didn't have. Purchased organic pepper jack marble cheese, cut into it as soon as I got home. So good 😊 They even have organic dog food!

I went because it was a certain Juice on their Website that said they carried it but when I got there the Lady told me they haven't carried that in a long while.

Lot's of healthy choices here. They carry a locally made in Chicago brand of kombucha called Kombuchade. Kombuchade is low in sugar at only 5 grams per bottle! Great flavor and a true kombucha.

Best grocery around- seriously. The produce- avocados, tomatoes, etc- are better than anything else I’ve tried in my years living here. They have nice health stuff that you can’t find anywhere else in Chicago- REAL olive oil, the best kefir I’ve ever had, homemade cheeses, the BEST olives from Greece, amazing kombucha, proper chocolate bars that aren’t loaded with fu-fu. I’ve seriously never seen another store carry their products either. Staff is very nice and on top of stuff. Always see them working very hard. This is my favorite grocery in Chicago.

Soup is my absolute favorite food group. If you're like me, you know that all soups are not created equal. Offering a quality selection -- one with both flavor and variety (I'm looking at you, tomato bisque ) -- this corner store has earned its spot on the repeat list. I went with the vegan mushroom vegetable and the borscht (omg hi!). Both very good, I'd recommend the mushroom, but wouldn't say no to the borscht a second time -- I'll never say no to a borscht! Borscht can do no wrong. The shop is quaint and calming. Some standouts for me: LARGE selection of dried herbs+, small fresh bakery counter, ready-made home cooked meals or sides, and a meat chest with meat by the pound -- including the "whole animal" bits that pets love. I've been twice now, will be back for more soup-sperimentation! P.S. They are priced like they know their worth though, so just be mentally prepared for that.

My go-to store in the Chicago area. Amish farms in Indiana are some of their major suppliers, and as a result there's an excellent selection of local produce, grains, honey, milk, cheese, etc, available, especially during the Spring and Summer.

Great organic groceries and pleasant service! The eggs are great the peanut butter is the best I've ever had and they have a nice selection of grass fed meats.

I am so happy I found this gem... I live 25 mins away but I come in once a week because they have a premium selection of excellent products! The fresh baked bread (on Tuesday's and Thursday's!) is amazing, we found the softest, sweetest dried apricots...the produce is the best quality. And snacks! These Baltic sprats are only $4 and they're delicious on crackers with mustard! The staff are very nice. Very charming place!

I have been coming here for years. I will give you the HONEST truth. The meat, dairy, and eggs are high quality - but expect to pay outrageous amounts for them. And I do mean outrageous. Most of their food comes from Yoders farm in Indiana, it is then doubled or tripled in price when it hits the shelf at this store. I drove to Yoders myself and the prices are very affordable. So, do you want to pay for convenience? Or do you want to take the drive and get it yourself. Up to you!

Usually we love shopping here. But today the lady working couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my existence in the store at all till I was ready to pay. Then when checking out I was told I couldn't purchase tea with the link card. I mostly likely will shop somewhere else when I need something.

Only store that I will go out of my way to visit. This place is heaven if you are a carnivore. There's beef heart, liver, chicken feet, liver etc and the best tasting milk you'd find anywhere in Chicago! I used to write a lot of reviews for dumb restaurants but now that I know better I stopped eating out or even reviewing places bc most places are full of vegan shit. BUT Amish healthy foods is a GEM!! Sadly most people are drinking crappy pasteurized homogenized milk or even worse seed oil waters like Almond Milk or Cashew milk high in omega 6. But they think they are cool and trendy drinking seed waters. If you really want to improve your health, look 20 when you are pushing 35, you gotta eat the ancestors way. Writing this was my public service for today. Hope this enlightened you. If it didn't then visit Amish store and eat some goddam Beef Liver!!!

This is the place for fresh locally sourced milk , meats , yogurt . Yes yogurt made from fresh milk has a delicious taste ! it's bit on the pricey side but they have a great selection of items . The price is the reason for the drop in star .

I was REALLY put off when I saw carrageenan in the ingredients list of Amish dairy. WHAT?!!! Are you kidding me? Carrageenan may be a seaweed, but it is NOT meant for HUMAN, or animal consumption, not everything in nature is meant for ingestion. It causes irreparable damage, inflammation and havoc in the gut. Please stay away from their dairy, unless it's not Amish. I will never buy it again, so , so disappointed. Amish people were supposed to be honest and trustworthy, putting cheap toxic garbage in your food is NOT!!! Sorry. Obviously this store owner wants to only help the wealthy to be healthy. Except today the people who were wealthy and ran their own successful business lost everything and are now on link cards and gov. assistance. P.S. I just saw the review below that you won't allow people with a link card to purchase certain items, like TEA?! I have many friends with link cards these days because of this stupid covid everyone is going through a hard time and you have the NERVE to look down on people with a link card and tell them they can't buy "basic things" in your store? Snob. God is watching you. Governor Pritzger just approved some RESTAURANTS to accept link cards, to help people in these low times and you won't let people buy simple things in your store? Greedy selfish people who look DOWN ON PEOPLE WHO ARE POOR - DO NOT GET BLESSINGS. ANY BIBLE IN ANY LANGUAGE SAYS THAT. I thought finding chemicals in your dairy was bad enough, but now that I know your character, I am not surprised by the lack of integrity. First I'll say that I LOVE THIS STORE. Their prices can be kind of insanely high but they've got stuff nobody else in the area has, and a lot of really high-quality stuff as well. Their hand-rolled butter is the one fancy treat I've always let myself splurge on, because it's so much better than supermarket butter. However. I really, really, really wish staff would take mask guidelines seriously. The last several times I've been in the store there was at least one staff member with no mask on at all. I'd usually just do my best to avoid that person and get out quickly. Today I went and not a single staff member was wearing a mask - either no mask at all, or wearing one over their mouth only. There is no point to wearing a mask if it doesn't cover your nose! OMG you only have one trachea and microorganisms don't just magically stay away from the part of it that connects to your nose. Come on, people. I'm sorry but I can't shop here anymore. I realize that strict guidelines seem like overkill to some people, but you have to understand that no fancy treat is worth the risk of fricking COVID-19.

An excellent choice for healthier fresher homemade food and products from Amish and the like. I'm a huge fan of duck eggs versus chicken eggs as they are larger and all around healthier. The Smush store usually always has them in hand. Their products across the board are better than any mainstream grocery store you would find. Not to mention they don't waste. Bring your own bag or use one of their repurposed bags. It has that old general store feeling. You feel good just buying in this store and the folks that work their always ready to answer a question with as honest an answer as they can give you. They don't blow smoke up your butt here. Great costumer service and set up so it's easy to find the things you want. If you didn't know better you would think there's a horse and buggy parked out front. That's how for real it is. Don't take my word for it try it out! But don't hog all the duck eggs I'll be watching you!

"You're like me" - Frank Booth I know you are like me, you wake up on a Sunday morning, craving duck, but are unwilling to face the lines for brunch at Longman & Eagle and its duck egg and duck hash - last year there were no lines but now there are - but you need duck - I know, I know, I need it like you do, my child, so what do you do, what will fill your craving? The Amish, will, my child, the Amish will. For they have duck eggs, and duck eggs in volume, with, dare I say, double yolk in single eggs. I cannot say whether such a phenomenon is legal or valid but it is, I tell you, it is DELICIOUS. And if you feel you cannot handle the rush at Longman, and I tell you truly that I share that feeling, be sure to stop by here earlier in your weekend so that it shall not be free of duck. Fry those duck eggs up in your castle, sprinkle them with exotic salt and pepper, and Louisiana hot sauce, and wash them down with bourbon. Their duck eggs are fantastic, and, at 50 cents a receptacle, a devilish bargain. Deliciously cooked a very, very soft sunny side up, with a smattering of foreign salt and a heaping of Lousiana hot sauce, paired with bacon, avocado, and a generous slice of the butter purveyed by Amish Healthy Foods. Their butter is rich, creamy and faintly felonious. Do not stop there, for they have buffalo heart and a multitude of varieties of offal and other rare cuts. I look forward to searing my buffalo heart and channeling its spirit throughout Logan Square; you will undoubtedly find your own backyard similarly blessed.

This shop sort of reminds me of a real Amish store back in Pennsylvania where I grew up, only with about one-tenth of the selection and double the prices. But it's still a nice option to have in a big city like Chicago. I wouldn't get meat, produce, or bulk items here, but some of the baked goods are highly worthwhile. However, my favorite thing on offer here is a brand of pickles called E & S Sales, two varieties of which, the Zesty Bread & Butter and the Sweet Hot Dill, require me to add this location as a regular stop on my pickle-acquisition rounds.

I found this spot while googling for grass fed beef bones. It's a small store, but don't let that fool you. They have a very nice variety of organic vegetables and fruits. They also have baked goods and dairy items. Their coolers are stocked up with grass fed and non grass fed meat selections. I always find what I need. The young lady that is usually there when I visit, is always very helpful and nice. I've recommended this spot to other people and they've loved it as well.

I honest was looking all over the city trying to find duck eggs and due to all the farmers markets closing (least the ones that would carry them) I wanted to give this place a chance. Even some of the farmers I reached out to who normally would supply at the markets and they said their ducks never lay eggs in the winter so I thought I was really out of luck. Random googling and Yelp brought me to this place. Parking was a little tough but I found a spot around the corner and it doesn't seem like any of the parking in the area is metered so thats a score in my book! Luckily I called ahead and they brought out the dozen I asked for. Otherwise I would have been SOL. I also got a jar of some raw organic honey which I cannot wait to crack open! Pricing: I honestly am used to paying $10+ for a dozen duck eggs at farmers markets but here it was half the cost! What a steal! The people were all super nice and really cool and very easy going! I will definitely check this place out again but I still can't really figure out who their clientele is because some of the stuff doesn't really cater to me and it seems like a mix of a bunch of stuff. I was honestly hoping to see more deli stuff but maybe that's just me. Overall the store is really nice and super clean! I hate clutter and this is very nice! Maybe next time I will try one of their juices!

I've been shopping here for over 4 years. It's really the best. All produce is organic and during spring to autumn there is a large selection of local produce. If your looking for a locally sourced place this is it. The meat and eggs are the best in Chicago. Treats are made in store and all organic. This place has allowed me to know exactly where my food is coming from, to give back to my community, to keep myself chemical free, and to keep money out of big business. Lucy is the owner and she is great. Oooo and they are back on their cream game now that its nice out!

I was a bit disappointed but maybe that's because I had very high expectations. I think part of me was expecting a complete Amish experience, but I realize now how ridiculous that was. I need to go to Indiana for that. A lot of the products were things that I could find at Whole Foods or Plum Market for the same price. I bought some oatmeal because it looked more authentic than other products that were the same brands that you can find at big grocery stores. Would I go again? Probably not.

Nice selection of items! Lots of gluten free and organic options. I also enjoyed the gluten free baked goods--peanut butter cup, strawberry almond cake, and the brownie. I will definitely go back! The employees were very friendly also.

Just moved to the area, this place is a short walk from my home. The first time I came here I was surprised it was small and didn't have tons of options, but as you get to know the place it's understandable why. They are giving you the best, organic, healthy options around. I'm talking local raised foods without any added bowl shit in them. Fresh fruits,veggies, beautiful selection of every grain and seed you can think of. Sustainable meat options. Fresh Amish bakery goods. I just feel so good when I shop here and when I eat the food. I know I'm putting amazing things into my body. Honestly some things,yes, they can be pricey. But we all know why.! People this is our bodies we are talking about here. I think it's damn well worth it to pay a bit more for somethin you are literally going to use to grow more of your cells? Like com on. And to be honest.. this place could sell a single grain of flax to me for 9$ and I would beleibe it and buy it. I just trust them. PS. They have great pickled cabbage and carrots and also you can pick up a honeycomb here if you are into charterray boards. Haven't got a chance yet but I really want to try it. I only wish they would have som more suggestions on how to prepare those ample selections of grains and legumes. Thanks so much Amish and healthy food source !

It is my first time in this store and I was amazed by the products they have. This was literally the perfect store for those who always want something healthy cause the store has a lot of gluten free and organic products inside. They have various selection of it and some are those that may be available or those that are hard to find in any grocery stores around. It is also good to know that this area has this kind of store. It is also clean and well-organized. A perfect store where you can go in pick all what you wanted or what you needed pay and then easily go out. The prices of the products are all fair and reasonable too. I like their selections and I would probably be back.

I've been buying Raw Honey here for about 3 years. I've always been satisfied with it. The owner says that she gets it from a Bee Farmer in Indiana. Lately I've been noticing that the honey is really thin (runs easily off of spoon). I asked the owner why is the Honey not solid anymore, as when I first started to purchase it, it was always solid. Her explanation was that it's because it's selling so fast that it has no time to crystallize. I'm no expert so I accepted that. But this last jar that I bought is not as sweet as it normally is. Maybe it's the farm that she's getting it from, but the quality of the honey seems to be declining.

Very very fortunate to have a place like this in the neighborhood. So glad I can get raw dairy, grass fed, pasture raised, organ meats, and bones here. Quality items. Highly recommended.

This is an odd little place. First, it's called "Amish Healthy Foods." The name alone is what got me to stop in after I saw the storefront while driving down Western Avenue. I wasn't aware that the Amish people have a particularly healthy diet; they eat a lot of fat, carbohydrates, and animal proteins. But, of course, the name of the store is supposed to imply that the food is produced by Amish people, and that the food is healthy. A very nice Ukrainian lady was working in the store when I stopped in. First, she asked if I'd ever been in the store before. When I said no, she said first-timers get an automatic 15% discount. Then she asked if I would like a cheese sample. Wow! Discount and free food? Yeah, sure! By this time, another customer had come in the store. The clerk cut us both slices of 3 different cheeses that were stored in the large walk-in refrigerator at the back of the store. I ended up buying some of the yogurt cheese, and it is delicious. I forget what the 2nd one was, but it was good, too. I wasn't crazy about the 3rd one, a dill cheese, but that was only because I don't like dill. If you like dill, you'll probably like this cheese. There are jams, jellies, meats, snacks, and lots and lots of cheese There were a couple jams, including a gooseberry jam, available for sampling, and that tasted good, too. I ended up buying a bag of Honey Mustard & Onion Sourdough Pretzel Pieces. It is good. It cost $6.76 a pound. The thing that really bothered me, though, and the reason I don't rate this store with a 4th star, is something the clerk said to the other customer. The other customer asked her, what's the difference between "natural" and "organic?" The clerk said, there really isn't any difference. OOOPS!! There is a huge difference between natural and organic. Organic foods have to meet strict USDA standards to be called organic. There are absolutely no standards for calling a food product "natural." I could wrap up my poop in a baggie and put it up for sale as a "natural" product and be fully within legal standards. But it wouldn't meet the standard of organic. The clerk's statement made me wonder if anything in this store really is organic. If a product doesn't meet the high standards of truly "organic" meat, cheese, jams, or pretzels, then the customer is paying some awful big prices for something you could get at Aldi for a whole lot less $$. Until the owners of this store can certify, 100%, that their products meet the "organic" standards, buyers should beware.

Driving down Western Ave thinking "Man, it's early *. I'm hungry, who would be open this early in the morning" Then I spotted this little grocery shop "The Amish that's who!!" I wasn't expecting much just because other independent stores have only the basics but not the Amish. This placed rocked!! Veggies everywhere, fruit, breads, snacks, jams, apple cider, deli meats, cheeses, I could go on forever. I was a bit over whelmed and hungry which cause crankiness. Lucky for me the check out gal was super helpful. The level of service was surprising! No really, this gal made me a sandwich and poured me a cup of fresh apple cider while I perused the small store. I left full and with enough groceries for the week, even better... the prices are cheap. My only wish I lived closer but I'll be back. *Ok, so it was like 10am.

This place is amazing really good coffee excellent chocolate covered mangoes slices. Great ladies that are more than helpful. A must.

I adore this place, and am so glad it's right around the corner from my apartment. The staff is incredibly nice, and everything is reasonably priced, particularly for the quality and sourcing. Their raw honey is significantly cheaper than Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, and I can't think of another place in the city where you are guaranteed to find duck eggs and RAW MILK. Raw milk, you guys. It's worth noting that eggs are delivered on Wednesday, so if you stop in on Tuesday, you might be out of luck. Oh well, you'll just have to come back another time!

This place does not need another 5 star review, but they deserve it so! It's great to find a health food store that's not ran by weird pseudoscience wizards, marking up prices with false health claims and attempting to convince me that fluoride is the road to tooth disease. Turn off the Mercola and steer me to the apples, man! Owners a sweet lady, and if the younger guy from California is still working there, you have my sincerest props. They're both very informative of their products, keep them at a reasonable price, and actually visit the amish farm they buy their products from. The guy was telling me he saw the farmers harvesting the maple water they carry from trees. I thought that was pretty neat, and it shows a level of commitment tha I respect and kept me coming back weekly -until I moved from the neighborhood :(. Anyway, there jerky is amazing. And yes, the other reviews were speaking truth... DUCK EGGS. Even a substantial amount of double duck eggs. Freaking huge. Who knew there were so many duck twins out there.

What a nice little grocery! I was sad to learn about how much money the owner had lost from doing the Groupon deal. I have yet to eat some of the things I bought there, but the meat and chese I did eat was so tasty it's gone. Whole Foods is a bit of a hike for me, and I always end up buying more than I need because it's so huge and everything looks so tasty and appealing. I like that at Amish Healthy Foods, I'll be able to get just the basic stuff I'm looking for -- meat, dairy, some produce, maybe a couple of pantry items -- and leave without buyers remorse. Stop by and try it out! I didn't try any samples, so I cant speak to everything they have, but I'll be back to try all of those soon. ;-)

What an adorable, independent store and with so many goodies packed into the space! It is refreshing to know that there is a place selling snacks that are not mass produced, but often difficult to find, such as fresh vegetable chips and beet chips. Also, this place sells some of the best roasted turkey and apple cider I have ever had. The employees are extremely welcoming and helpful and offer various tastings, while shopping. I felt as if I had a mini-breakfast! It feels good to purchase locally and at a cheaper cost then other places in the area.

Darwin's eggs You know who gives birth to multiples? Well, yes, humans who get fertility treatments. But outside of that? Creatures that have been nutritionally happy for consecutive generations. I mean, yes, dogs and cats and ducks have litters, sure. But *twins*? That only happens when the animals have been food-and-shelter-and-environment secure from mother to daughter to daughter--*then* nature says, "Yeah, you're ready to raise bunches of offspring." So what does this have to do with Amish Foods? Buy some of their double-yolk duck eggs and you'll know exactly what it means. These things aren't just a fluke of nature--they're some of the most spectacular eggs you'll ever eat. Sous vide them at 143 degrees for nine hours, and the yolk is like custard.

I love this place as I can get quality / non-gmo food and know that what I'm getting. Props to them for providing Chicago with a place to get the nutrition that keeps us alive and healthy. You can either pay a little more money for quality food, or pay the doctor when you are sick.

Amish Healthy Foods. Ladies, you're so freaking good. Best eggs in the 'hood. Amish Healthy foods deserved a haiku. One of my go-tos for grocery shopping. For awhile, I would go there and be the only one in the place, but it seems like the secret is out. They really do have the best eggs in Chicago. Some might say they are slightly overpriced, but compare the eggs there to something you'd pick up at Jewel and you'll realize they are absolutely worth it. I love their bulk goods and have bought flax meal and oat bran here. They stock a wide array of meats, some fresh, but mostly frozen. I buy the Culver duck breast they stock, which is an excellent value. I've been buying Big Shoulders coffee from here for a long time as well after sampling it at the store. Also, their giant butter roll...great butter at a great bargain. /End gush. I've turned a bunch of friends and co-workers on to this place. Go and see for yourself!

This is a great gem in the ukranian village neighborhood. They have REAL FOOD. Good food with no junk (no antibiotics, hormones, GMOs, etc.). This food is hard to find. Whole Foods serves lots of GMOs both in produce and animals fed GMOs. Not Amish Healthy Foods. Also, great diary products. Unique ones. The owner is very informed about food and what real food lovers are looking for. She is very friendly and helpful. Great Salt of the Earth person.

Let me preface this review by saying prior to today I would have given it 5 stars. I come in on a regular basis purchasing desserts or snacks. Today I asked an employee if she could wash her hands prior to getting my dessert out of the case since she was handing meat and I am vegan. Her and another lady were not happy about my request and said she doesn't need to because she will use a tong. I told her I would appreciate it if she would still wash her hands. She rinsed her hands off and used her hands to get my dessert. I was going to pay for everything. Turned around and decided I'm not going back there. When it comes to food and raw meat hand washing should be of upmost importance. Sorry, I loved your store but I'm never going back.

I've been going here for awhile and if you're looking for organic fresh and hard to find foods then this is the place. The staff are very nice people and will order something for you if they don't have it. Good raw honey, milk, butter, and cheeses are not easy to find so this place is great if your into raw foods and a mostly chemical free diet. This place is a little out of the way for me but it's worth it and it's better then driving to Indiana where the farm is to buy this stuff. Sometimes parking can be a problem but they're working on getting more parking space I've been told.

This place had good food from Amish farms of Indiana. I only bought a few snacks but I will definitely return. It recently expanded too from last time I patronized the establishment. Easily accessible!

Family run business with delightful people who are the American dream of working hard and bringing healthy food when those from the homeland were getting sick adjusting to the US processed food. Mostly farm to table.. Great fresh eggs, from the cow fresh unpasteurized milk *for animal consumption as it is not legal to sell here*. The meat is all frozen and I have had mixed experience of all the frozen products. All fresh organic produce and some from Amish farms but all is pricey and have had fruit fly issues, hand churned yummy butter, farm style homemade cotagge cheese great for lasagna, maple syrup sweetened icecream, the best Rafael Los *white chocolate cream bonbon* and Chocolate covered fig and Walnut in town.. Exotic loose leaf teas a plenty. Stay away from anything frozen! I think it is what is left over and lately the owners are not as present or engaging as they once were. I got ill recently after eating frozen sausage, cheese perogi that tasted like dishwater, and had rock hard fresh croissants that they freeze if they dont sell 3 times in a row which used to be light and delicate a great pairing for their homemade Russian cheese. The icecream cones are soggy and have icecrystals and made me think this must be what it is like to get a product in Siberia that takes forever to acquire. The frozen bananas were unusable when thawed. The frozen homemade icecream separates and is not edible. The coffee brewed is strangely acidic. I am genuinely concerned of this and when mentioned I was told to try another and report back. I also have noticed the brandname milk spoils often within a few days if it wasn't spoiled when I got it home. All else is fantastic! There is fresh squeezed juice but they do not squeeze to order.. you.must order a few hours to a day in advance which for me rendered it impossible to take advantage of. I only buy eggs, tea, Russian cheese, and the bonbons here now. I suppose each market has its role in your life.

I adore this place. Fresh eggs, fresh bread, raw milk, organic, grass-fed, free-range, local everything you could want! Best carrots in the city are hiding in this little market! And the ladies who run the place are fantastic. Every time I walk in here, I end up buying at least 2 things more than I need. They put out free samples of dried goods or the latest in their collection of nutritious snacks. And the chocolate milk! There are no words. Just go there. It's tiny, but it's mighty and full of delicious things.

Amish & Healthy Foods store is a superb store and has quality foods. As someone that wants to be healthy and shops in organic stores, I try and find different organic stores where I can spend a bit more money, but have a better quality of food. In my opinion the price and the quality of the business of Amish & Healthy Foods is better than any other organic store because of these awesome qualities. First, the price of organic food is always a bit pricey but this store has reasonable prices and the quality does not suffer like in other markets. When you compare Amish & Healthy foods market to other general markets is without of doubt a better store than general markets. Their foods are much better and have the freshest fruits and vegetables available. Like they have the juiciest and sweetest apples. These items might be a little more expensive but the experience of these organic products changes the way you feel about these items. Cheaper is not always better. The other market items can sometimes have chemicals that aren't healthy for you. The fruit and vegetables might be healthy but can't supply you with the vitamins you need. The organic foods have more vitamins without having harsh chemicals suppressing the vitamins. Keep in mind, higher quality is better than low even if pricing is a bit high, it better for your health. Next, what makes this place wonderful is how the store is established inside and out. The cleanliness of the store is excellent. They keep everything neat and spotless. It makes you feel like this store is well taken care of and not ignored like other markets. They seem to throw away rotten produce out and not let it sit the basket for a long time. Some other markets have produce on the ground or even moldy and broken items still sitting there in the basket. But that does not happen at this store. It seems like they take responsibility in their store. Also, they have a variation of products like meats, fruits, vegetables, spices, and eggs. The constant variation makes you want to come and try something new from that store. All in all, this business takes a great value in their store to keep it clean and have a great wide of products around the store. Overall, Amish & Healthy Foods market embarrasses most markets because of their quality of food and business. It is the most diversified and nicest organic store I have ever been to. I will have to return for more of their delicious foods.

Lucy buys some of the best and freshest dairy, meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables anybody could find in this particular corner of the USA. I've maybe never been to any other supermarket, produce stand, or butcher shop where the owners go so far out of their way to show you exactly how mouthwatering their food is... SAMPLES OUT THE WAZOO, is what I'm sayin'. I also get a kick from the fact that I'm not padding the salaries of Big Ag lobbyists who funnel your taxes into subsidies for hyper-processed garbage you have to buy at some cavernous sprawlbox monstrosity... but that's just me? Only paying once for bonafide nommables is right up my alley, which is why I'm usually in here at least once a week.

A real gem for health foods and fresh quality food. All of the organic produce was actually ripe, unlike some of the mass imported organic fruit at Whole Foods. Amazing meat selection, pastured chicken including hard to find parts like gizzards, feet, and beef knucklebones. Beautiful soy free eggs and duck eggs. Huge selection of raw honey and bee products. And raw milk *for pets only* of course. Lucy the owner is incredible and tons of fun to talk to.

This place is true hidden gem! I can tell you exactly what we bought: apples, beef jerky, pumpkin pancake mix, banana chips and beef patties. We have yet to eat he beef patties and have yet to open the pancake mix. All of the rest of the stuff has been eaten and thoroughly enjoyed! I must say say that we are in for a real treat we we do break them open. The prices are a little high but the quality and the taste of what we bought was the best. It was well worth the price of acquisition. The lady working was super cool, super friendly and super helpful and made us feel right at home. I wish I lived a bit closer so i could frequent them more often. I would go out of my way to go back here.

This place is great! We picked up some peanut butter, duck eggs, jalapeno cheddar sausages, fresh veggies, raw honey and some great mustards. The peanut butter is honestly the best tasting peanut butter I have ever had in my life - it was gone within a week. It's a bit pricey, but the taste is out of this world. It's a small place, and the refrigeration area gets very cramped if more than two people are shopping, but not really a big deal if you wait your turn. I do wish they had a larger selection of meats, and maybe a whole duck or something. Maybe it was the time of week we visited (Sunday) but the freezer section was basically empty, aside from a few random sausages. I'll be back again, I'm sure the selection varies quite often!

Since the birth of our son, AHF became our neighborhood go-to spot for everything baby: from goat milk to spirulina. Priced very reasonably for a small shop, it provides a good value at our fingertips. This is a small business that things big while staying connected to the community. Best picks: farm fresh eggs, mini apple pie, raw peanut butter, salt/pepper sausage.

Small, but an excellent selection of high quality food that you can't find in most grocers. Also, an amazingly clean store.

I went here for the 1st time this weekend. I'm looking for whole foods and I found Amish & Healthy foods to be a great find in the city. All of the food was fresh and there was a good selection of products. I also found the ladies working in the store to be very helpful. I will definitely go back here again.
