Courtney was a great host! She took wonderful care of us and our tastings were great as well. The chardonnays are amazing! Definitely recommend stopping by!

Cynthia D.

Google
We dropped in with no reservations right before they were about to close. Courtney still took her time to wait on us and let us enjoy their peaceful patio with its warm summer breeze. Her hospitality made our visit.

We had a wonderful time at Amista! The vineyards are beautiful especially this time of year with the color change. It was a very serene place with really nice wines and great service. They brought some delicious popcorn to snack on with the wine. Also dog friendly and brought our dog some water which was much appreciated. Sharon was very kind and helpful to us wine novices. Would definitely come back again!

Amista Vineyard is for all the sparkling wine lovers! This family-owned winery showcases the fabulous fruit and friendly spirit of Dry Creek Valley. The Amista has a lovely location with friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. We highly recommend adding caviar service to your tasting. We had a wonderful experience with Luke!

Google
I visited this place for my birthday ...Super fun and beautiful vineyard! Their Signature Flight which includes their sparkling wines is $40/ person. So worth it! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. They also allow you to walk the property at your leisure. Totally recommend!!!

Google
We had a great time tasting the wines of Amista vineyards. Courtney was our host and she was great, giving us all the details about the wines (we are not experts). She was so knowledgeable about the notes of each wine and why they were different (how they were made.)

We had a lovely time visiting Amista Vineyards. Carrie was very kind and took us as walk ins.

Google
Lovely family owned dog friendly winery. We visited on a cold rainy day, however their outdoor patio is covered and heated. Was a great experience for us and the pups. Amista has dog water bowls, jack rabbits, and welcoming vineyards walks. We tasted Clairette Blanche and estate grown Chardonnay along with some sparkling and several yummy reds. Staff are friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable. We’ll be back for sure!

Yelp
visited from Orange County and just getting in to wine! stopped by Amista Vineyards and although we did not have a reservation, the tasting experience was amazing! Kerri welcomed us in and did such a wonderful job guiding us through the tasting and providing so much information! Amista is a smaller vineyard and their staff, wines, and property is so gorgeous. I would highly recommend and would visit again! Thank you Kerri, I can't express our gratitude and appreciation of your welcoming service!

Yelp
Very nice wine tasting. The tasting area has a nice air-conditioned indoor area and there's a covered outdoor patio as well. Dog friendly and super friendly staff. We started with a little walking tour around their vineyard then we did a bubbles flight and a Rhone flight of 4 pours each (though we both each got 2 extra bonus pours!). Very tasty wine, though the bottles are a bit expensive. Definitely a great stop to do a tasting in the area!

Yelp
Excellent selection of wines especially sparkling! They are pet friendly but you don't feel imposed upon as there is an outdoor seating area that provides plenty of space. Vicky and the crew still providing a top-notch experience!

Yelp
Bubbles for my birthday? Yes, please! I booked a group reservation with Amista for my 51st birthday, and couldn't have been happier with the attention to detail provided by the wonderful team. They made the experience absolutely perfect - truly the best birthday I've ever had. Jackie and her team made a cold January birthday warm and wonderful!

Chris H.

Yelp
Very nice selection of sparkling wines, Courtney was a wonderful host. Our favorite was the Blanc De Blancs, delicious! Beautiful seating areas inside & out, and dog friendly as an added bonus. Enjoyed our visit and will be back! $40 per tasting, does not apply to wines purchased.

Yelp
Service/Ambiance - we stopped in on a whim and so glad we did. It's so quaint inside the tasting room. VERY dog friendly The staff greets you with a smile and are so welcoming. Wine experience- Luke was AWESOME! We felt so relaxed and not rushed. Maybe because it wasn't so busy, but we had the most enjoyable time. Luke provided the best service and was so personable. The popcorn was the Bomb. The flights of all 3 (reds, whites and bubble) were decent. I really liked the Crystilina and the rest of us like the Syrah. We can't wait to come back for another visit especially when we can sit outside. We can't wait

Yelp
This is one of the few places that have a large variety of sparkling wines. And we visited by recommendation from Breathless. I am glad we went, this will be one of our regular visits when in Healdsburg. All of the sparkling wine was delicious. I prefer dry wine, and while all of them were different, I loved them all.
google avatar

Yelp
Come out for the wines and their sparkling. The outdoor tasting area is lovely. Surrounded by vineyards that are bursting with mustard. The staff are the best Kerri is so knowledgeable and friendly

Yelp
My friend is a member here and came to visit as part of our Sonoma winery day. So glad we did! Love family wineries, and they even had a welcome sign for our party. I believe it was Tammy and Alex that served us our tastings, and they were phenomenal! They took their time pouring us our tastings, served us delicious fresh popcorn and took their time to explain their wines. Did not feel rushed here at all. We fell in love with their syrah and sparkling syrah and took a handful bottles home. They have seating indoors and the outdoor seating section is beautiful as well. I love that it is dog friendly and will make sure to bring Rocco on my next visit!

Yelp
Our favorite winery in not only Healdsburg but in the entire state. We're always treated as family.

Yelp
What an amazing little slice of Dry Creek Valley heaven! My friends and I tasted here during the WineLove weekend tasting event, and Amista was personally my favorite winery out of the 5 that we tried. Everything from the setup, to the wine, to the service was absolutely wonderful. Amista specializes in sparkling wines which isn't too common in this part of the valley, but damn did we enjoy their sparkling! And not just their sparkling wines; we enjoyed ALL of their wines! Their estate is so charming. It's cute and quaint but super relaxing and comfortable. It's great for a more intimate wine tasting experience. They've got an adorable Barnyard style indoor tasting room and a gorgeous back and side patio space that overlooks their beautiful vineyards. We chose to sit near the vineyards of course because, I mean... why not?! We LOVED Kerri! Her personality, her expertise... it was on 10, baby! She was so bubbly and fun. She knew exactly how to appease our palates and described everything that we were tasting down to a tee. I love a well seasoned sommelier, especially with tons of personality! We started off with their scrumptious sparkling Syrah. That's right, you heard me correct; sparkling SYRAH! I'll be honest, I've had a few sparkling reds in my day, but none have ever been from a Syrah grape. I was skeptical at first (mainly because I'm not a huge fan of either), BUT... it was exquisite. It's literally the perfect sparkling red; not too sweet, not too bubbly, and not too dry. Before my visit here, the best sparkling reds that I'd ever tasted were from Domaine Chandon and Korbel (limited edition and not found in stores). Welp, this sparkling Syrah trumped both of those. I really enjoyed this one. Their red wines are equally delicious. I actually really liked the softness of their estate Syrah. I usually have to prepare myself for Syrah since it tends to be bolder in the tannins, but this one was smooth sailing. My absolute favorite was their Tres red blend though. I mean WOW! The Tres red blend is their take on a GSM (Grenache/Syrah/Mourvèdre). Honey, when I tell you that my eyes perked up after tasting the first sip of this. Talk about well balanced! It was like a mouth full of velvety goodness. Copped a bottle of that immediately. Finding a good GSM has always been tough for me, so I had to take this baby home and with the quickness. I've since drank the bottle, but that only means that I need to make a trip back to get more (wink wink). I can't forget to mention the treats! They had the best popcorn! And they also provided us with chocolate to pair with the Syrah. Damn was it good! This was definitely one of my favorite Dry Creek Valley wine tasting experiences to date. If you're into sparkling wines and well balanced reds, you need to put Amista at the top of your list.

Yelp
Our family of 10 and a toddler had an amazing time. Luke and Kerri were very hospitable. They gave us their full attention and explained the grapes, the process of making the wine. The popcorn was an added bonus! It was a beautiful day made all the better by a wonderful tasting!

Yelp
We were looking for small off the beaten path vineyards and were suggested this by concierge. It was a brisk beautiful day with outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor seating overlooking a hill and vineyards. We really enjoyed our cheese board and their sparkling varietals. My husband really enjoyed their Chardonnay and we became club member. Definitely suggest this if you like sparkling and are visiting
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
As a club member, I took my friend for a tasting in mid June. We had a wonderful tasting. Sat on the patio with the calming view of the vineyards, ate the yummy popcorn and tasted great wine. Luke was amazing and he provided us with multiple side by side tasting options. It was a great way to spend a summer day! Luke, YOU ROCK!

Yelp
Beautiful views great sparkling wine in Dry Creek Valley. We were greeted with their exquisite Blanc de Blanc along with their delicious popcorn. Then we got to walk their vineyard estate which is beautiful. With did a walk around all their vineyard. When we got back we got to taste some more of their sparkling wine which included the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. One of my favorites was the sparkling Syrah because was my first time tasting it and was pleasantly refreshing. Ambiance was perfect, This the perfect place to spend a romantic evening with a loved one. Customer Service is excelente and got to meet Vicky and Ashley were hosts. I will give this winery a 5 star in every thing Presentation, Customer Service and mainly on their wine.

Yelp
A Sunday July 2020 visit for Pizza day. 10" hand made pie by Mazza catering. Only two pizza versions. A sauce free goat cheese arugula fig jam pie or a sauce free Za' Atar covered crust. I bought both. $18 each. I was not wowed by either. My lovely spouse, Yelp Elite Barbara S. liked them better than I. We bought a bottle of the $38 Chardonnay. Mildly buttery, some oak, but not offensive. A drinkable summer white wine. Again not my favorite as I prefer a more French style that features minerals and brightness from higher acid, but the Amista is acceptable. Servers are gracious, informative and eager to please. Patio are is spacious. Covid distances are observed and then some. Everyone wore masks except to eat and drink. If you want a calm winery visit at a pretty setting, this place will work for you.

Yelp
Loved every single wine here. That's a rare thing for me. Enjoyed our food pairing with our wine tasting and the sun a pretty view of the vineyard. Service was friendly and attentive. I'll be back!

Alita C.

Yelp
Alex was an absolute gem during our tasting on New Year's Eve! We appreciated how she showcased both the sparkling and still wines of the same varietals back-to-back so we could truly appreciate the grapes. We're also big fans of popcorn, what a lovely surprise to have it served with our tasting! They don't just have great sparkling wines, but they're one of the few local vineyards that has planted all of the key Rhône GSM grapes - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre. It's fairly tough to find in Sonoma and with a chance to taste both estate, single-vineyards and the blends. Can't wait to come back and try the newest sparkling releases in the spring!

Yelp
This winery definitely gets props for the most beautiful vineyard seating we visited in Healdsburg. The outside seating is located right by the vineyards, so the view is absolutely breathtaking. And apparently it's a solar powered patio you're sitting on right next to the vineyard. We didn't think we'd still be hungry after other cheese boards and caviar, but our tummy's were rumbling. So we ordered a yummy cheese and charcuterie board and a popcorn snack. The popcorn was actually super delicious and my favorite snack! I could have eaten a pound of it. As for the wine however, this was probably my least favorite of the ones we visited. I enjoyed one of the sparkling wines, but I didn't drink most of the other wine we were poured. I am more of a sweet or bubbly wine drinker, and a lot of the other wine was of a drier variety or of a different taste (e.g., most of their sparkling wine is red/pink instead of white). I enjoyed the Sparkling Blanc de Blanc (which is more of a traditional white sparkling wine), but the Sparkling Syrah, Sparkling Grenache, and the Sparkling Mataró were not really my taste. But don't let that stop you, because I'm fairly certain that my wine palette taste is of the minority (lol) and lots of other people probably love it. And the next time I come (yes, I will be back), I'll just grab a glass or bottle of the Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, would come back here especially for the beautiful view of the vineyards with just a glass (or a bottle to share with someone) of the Amista Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, a cheese and charcuterie board, and popcorn.

Yelp
Blown away by the atmosphere and people and of course the wine. I did sparkling and my husband did red. We were both big fans. We went on a rainy day and enjoyed the quiet. They played great music and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Yelp
As you walk in, you are greeted with a beautiful bubbly that was only sold to members only. They were nice but the service was extremely slow with the amount of people present. 4 tables outside taken. About 5 staff present. Tasting reservation was made in an advance. The winery was beautiful. It was clean. They followed Covid19 precautions, but they lack customer service. We only had 1 round of their tasting and our server, Allie never came back. We had a beautiful bride that we wanted to celebrate here. It was our first time here and we wanted to be special. Too bad it wasnt memorable because we had to leave due to our next reservation to another winery. We gave them a chance and waited on them for more of the tastings, but we were only given two. The welcome drink and 1 white. We didn't leave the place empty handed. One friend bought a bottle of their welcome drink. I hope they can pick up the pace because their winery is really pretty. It has potential. I might come back here when things are back to normal.... maybe I'll be able to try more what they have to offer.

Kathleen R.

Yelp
The views are lovely at this winery, but there are better ambiance's at many other Healdsburg wineries and better wine. The sparkling wine is so-so, I think some of it's overpriced. I joined and struggled to cancel my membership so consider carefully before joining.

Liz O.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! Super friendly, cute outdoor area with lots of photos ops. I didn't have a favorite tasting, but we were also stopping in between tastings so didn't really have the time to enjoy. We are excited to come back for another visit.

Yelp
I booked the taste of Amista tasting and it was a very intimate tasting under a patio. We got to taste a 4 different types of wines and walked about the vineyard. Highly recommend this experience.

Yelp
What a fantastic place! Employee Kerri was super friendly and had drinks poured before we even sat down. The accompanying lemon herb popcorn was to die for. Super great location for a relaxing and stress-free tasting. Got a membership!!

Yelp
Enjoyed a tasting here last week with a friend great bubbly!!! Blanc de Noir, and a nice sparkling Syrah. Anna knows her stuff as she's a winemaker too. They have a nice dry Oaky Chardonnay Pinot Noir, a blend and a Cab! I would put the Cabernet Sauvignon up against a lot of Cabernets in Napa Priced at $85 and more. This one comes in at $60 Rockpile Cabernet wow! Picnic area outback.

Yelp
Hubby and I were heading back to the Bay Area after a nice long weekend up north in Mendocino County. We wanted to find a nice winery to stop by on our way down to let us stretch our legs a little, let the dogs out for a potty, and just relax for a bit before heading into Bay Area traffic. After some research, we found Amista! Dry Creek Valley is all about the Zinfandels, but we're more into sparkling wines, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that Amista specializes in them! It was a Monday afternoon so we were the only ones there - it was as if the outdoor patio was our backyard! Kerri (not sure if I spelled her name correctly!) was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make us feel right at home. We loved the laidback atmosphere. The tasting is $30 (waived with 2 bottle purchase) and includes a taste of a sparkling Syrah, which is just so unique! Kerri also provided complimentary popcorn (oh, and you're welcomed with a welcome glass which is the first wine on the tasting menu - blanc de blanc). For those of you with fur babies, they are very dog-friendly! Kerri even gave both our dogs a little dog biscuit as a treat. We loved it so much that we actually signed up to be wine club members (our first wine club membership ever)! There is no membership fee - you just have to commit to purchasing bottles 3 times a year, and you can choose from either 4 bottles, 6 bottles, or 12 bottles. If you join at the 4 bottles x 3/year membership, the bottles will be at a 10% discount, if you do 6 bottles, it'll be a 15% discount, and 12 bottles will be 20% discount. We opted to go with the 6 bottles membership with all sparkling (since that's what we love the most). But, you can also choose all red/white/mixed. It's also flexible so if they send you the list of bottles you'll be getting for your shipment and you don't like some of them, you can simply email them and ask them to swap them out for you. We left with our first 6 bottles and are looking forward to going back in October/November to pick up our next set of 6 and enjoy some complimentary tastings (as wine club members)!

Yelp
Amista Vineyards was an absolutely amazing experience from the moment we stepped in! We went for Mother's Day and were so lucky we had Sharon to guide us that day! She was so warm, friendly and attentive. Made us feel special the entire time! We did the sparkling flight which I highly recommend, and were seated on the outside patio with the most incredible views all around us! I can't wait to return and can't thank Sharon enough for making the day such a memorable one for myself and my mom.
google avatar

David V.

Yelp
Big thank you and Sharon, you were amenable and amazing yesterday (Sunday, October 3, 2021) and really enjoyed the wine tastings on the patio. It was super hot and the wines especially the sparkling wines were a delight. Cools you off in a pleasant way. Not sure they offer a cheese or charcuterie to go with the wines but it would be nice to enjoy...although the popcorn was good. Thanks for a great experience and I would encourage everyone to check Amista Vineyards, out...you'll be glad you did!
google avatar

Shawn W.

Yelp
Delicious wine, friendly and generous staff. There's even a vineyard hike and tasty popcorn. Hangout at this backyard style vineyard

Ramon G.

Yelp
We were meandering around wine country and stumbled onto Amista. What we found was a delightful boutique winery. They focus on sophisticated wines that we have not found elsewhere. For example, they produce a sparkling Syrah. We had never heard of a sparkling Syrah, but what a great wine for entertaining! If you have a chance, do a little wine tasting at Amista!
google avatar

Ronald R.

Yelp
We returned to Amista this past Saturday. We used to be a member, but moved out of the area. We wished we still lived here, as Amista is as friendly and the wines are superb as we remembered. The grounds and the weather were wonderful. But the best part of our visit was our host, Will. He was amazing! He took the time to explain the wines and the history of the winery. Complimenting his co workers, the wine maker and of course the wines. He is an absolute one of a kind. We will be visited Amista again when we can. Highly recommend Amista!

Lindsay P.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our time here. Luke was lovely and I hope when we come back, he'll be here! The wines we had were really good - lovely with the popcorn! It was a bummer that all the sparkling wasn't available to try, but that just gives is a reason to be back in the Spring! The popcorn was a treat that went well with our wine!

Angela T.

Yelp
I was so happy we decided to stop in. Their sparkling wines are all lovely and I did end up signing up as a member even though I said I wouldn't! It was worth being able to take home the sparkling Syrah. Kerri provided great service.. she was so fun and knowledgeable. I liked how it was such a small production and everyone seemed to be able to get involved. The outside tasting area was also very nice. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Came here for a tasting. Amazing vinyard, big beautiful grounds, perfect spot for groups to hang. Fun spot to play games outside, great pizzas. Amazing service, will 100% come back.

Jimm C.

Yelp
Very nice wines and a nice charcuterie ($30) in a picturesque setting. The weather was perfect for sipping wine outside and looking at the vineyards.

Tracey M.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in late one afternoon last week and we really enjoyed learning about Amista. I also enjoyed a glass of the sparkling Syrah and took a bottle back with me to Clearwater, FL. It was a beautiful view of the vineyard while we sat out on the patio. Thanks, Amista, we will be back!
google avatar

Rebekah B.

Yelp
Incredible wines with amazing views, their tasting patio is beautiful and the charcuterie board was so yummy!

Shannen R.

Yelp
Great sparkling with a beautiful view, patio and dogs! This place was a lot of fun we came for the sparkling and ended up staying awhile having lunch on the patio and enjoying the company of the two winery labs. The people working there were very friendly and fun to talk to. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I have drove past this winery countless times and never stopped in until this weekend. My only sadness is I have waited so long to make it happen. Sweet property, long driveway to create more of a reveal as you come closer to the winery's tasting room. I didn't explore too much yesterday, but there does seem to be an outdoor area that looked covered as we wandered into the tasting room. The tasting room is roomy, decorated nicely with local artists, comfy chairs in a seated environment along with several high top tables with cushy bar stools. Very comfortable, warm environment. I felt a little duped that some of the pictures on Yelp showed what looked like a sparkling flight option. They do have amazing sparkling wines, but it isn't served in a flight manner. Yesterday I went in with a mission for bubbles and was pleasantly rewarded with their blanc de blanc which was being poured. David, the tasting room associate who helped yesterday, was awesome! He took excellent care of us as we settled up to one of the side high tops which initially had me worried we could get forgotten but he quickly squashed that fear. His kind and informative pouring skills made a believer out of me as I signed up for their sparkling only club. The winery is well known for their reds, but man do they do bubbles well. Even the port was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to play more here as the season unfolds and the weather allows us to play outside and enjoy the beautiful property.

Yelp
I love this winery. I always feel welcomed. It's such a beautiful property, and the family and team their are fabulous. My friend and I visit at least twice a year. So glad they are accepting reservations, for outside social-distanced tasting.

Trisha A.

Yelp
Spent a lovely April morning visiting with the Amista's CEO Vicky and winemaker Ashley tasting their DELISH sparkling wines and touring the vineyards. A tare opportunity to visit a winery that focuses on SPARKLING wines, crafted using the Methode Champenoise - the process used to make fine French Champagne. A lovely property offering an opportunity to sit and visit with friends, celebrate special moments and enjoy a very special vineyard run by women.
google avatar

Carolyn S.

Yelp
Dog friendly, outdoor wine tasting and charcuterie. We got a sparkling tasting and a regular tasting, we particularly enjoyed the sparkling wines. There is also a cute and short loop around part of the vineyard to walk when you are finished. Overall, this was an excellent choice for the afternoon and the atmosphere here was lovely and quiet.
google avatar

Tyla B.

Yelp
This was our second stop of the day and my husband and I wish that this would have been our only. The outdoor seating was beautiful and your right in the vineyard and they sparkling was delicious. They provided popcorn and we ordered a cheese platter. There was a perfect breeze and my husband and I didn't want to leave.

Yelp
Imagine for a moment that The Dry Creek Valley offers up some delicious bubbly...Wait...A reality realized...Amista! Family owned gem of a winery with some very passionate wine educator's working in the tasting room. Over a half dozen sparkling varietals and a Rockpile Cabernet Sauvignon too!! Dog friendly...Picnic ready...A big fun experience! Cheers!
google avatar

Kathleen R.

Yelp
Every trip to Amista provides a visit with long-time friends, while sipping great wines. If you like bubbles, this is the place to sip a variety of Ashley's amazing creations. If you like still reds, as I prefer, these are some of the best. Maddie did a wonderful job of pouring and describing each wine, and I always enjoy catching up with Tammy. This trip I especially appreciated the gift of time Vickie gave as we chatted over a glass of wine.

Shannon C.

Yelp
Lovely, dog friendly setting for tasting some great sparkling wine. Really enjoyed the laid back experience!

Yelp
I have tried a few Amista wines from my friends who brought them to dinner parties, so I was excited to finally check out there tasting room. It looks like it was meant to be a barrel aging room with how high the ceiling is. It is spacious so there is plenty of room for larger groups, and you can also make a reservation if you need. Tammy led our tasting flight and was incredible. She was very funny, welcoming and knowledgeable. She paid very good attention to know exactly when we were ready for a new pour. The port was my favorite, especially with the delicious chocolate sandwich that came with it! They also have some gourmet popcorn to snack on. Definitely check Amista out if you are in town looking for a fun and delicious wine tasting!
