We booked this place as it advertised a discount. However, the discount price was quite expensive for what it was. But this is Queenstown. The pictures on the web are very flattering for what it is in reality. It would have been nice in the 80's when it was built, but now very tired. Our unit was very clean and we couldn't hear much from other units. Ground floor unit so be aware you may be upstairs for people with mobility issues. Shower over the bath, so again, not great for people with mobility issues. Security here is very casual, as is reception. The courtyard area was open to the property next door, where anyone could walk down the drive and into the courtyards. Very odd. We received NO check in instructions even though we made it clear we would be there after reception closed. We turned up as no answer when we rang to ask for instructions. Our key was in an unlocked box near reception with our name on it which, luckily, we looked in. Still no response from reception about checking in 2 weeks later. Very strange place. The wi-fi was really really ordinary. Parking is very tight. It is within walking distance to town centre, just, but up quite a steep hill coming back.
