We booked this place as it advertised a discount. However, the discount price was quite expensive for what it was. But this is Queenstown. The pictures on the web are very flattering for what it is in reality. It would have been nice in the 80's when it was built, but now very tired. Our unit was very clean and we couldn't hear much from other units. Ground floor unit so be aware you may be upstairs for people with mobility issues. Shower over the bath, so again, not great for people with mobility issues. Security here is very casual, as is reception. The courtyard area was open to the property next door, where anyone could walk down the drive and into the courtyards. Very odd. We received NO check in instructions even though we made it clear we would be there after reception closed. We turned up as no answer when we rang to ask for instructions. Our key was in an unlocked box near reception with our name on it which, luckily, we looked in. Still no response from reception about checking in 2 weeks later. Very strange place. The wi-fi was really really ordinary. Parking is very tight. It is within walking distance to town centre, just, but up quite a steep hill coming back.

In my opinion, this place should not be available for rent. On the first night we noticed the obvious maintenance issues (things like mould around the sink, buttons missing from the toilets, etc) and we ignored it. On the final night, after noticing that the curtain above the bed was wet, we pulled pack the curtain and discovered that the wood of the window sill was rotted through and there was a fungus growing inside the room. It’s a good thing we checked out the next day. This is not a four star accommodation as advertised, in my it’s 2 stars at best.

This place is in a very central location anda quick walk to central Queenstown . It also has free parking but be careful if you have a big car as sometimes the only park was a small space . We were in an upstairs room , first thing we noticed was no hand rail and they have got non slip material on the stairs which is good but very unsteady . We opened the door and the first thing to hit us was the smell . Clearly the previous people had cooked very strong food and the room stunk the whole time we were there . The room is really tired and the bath .. if you’re a bigger person like me I don’t recommend the bath .. I got wedged in 🤣 and it took a while to get out . Ultimately the rooms have everything but the value isn’t there and it’s all very depressing . Also the laundry cost is a joke .. $16 for wash and dry ..

Great location wirh only a 5 min walk to town. Rooms are a different story though and very tired. Need some urgent TLC. Not really appropriate for a tourist hot spot like Queenstown and the rates charged.

Thank you to Cora and the team as they were excellent. They were very extremely helpful and certainly made our week long stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The linens and towels were lovely with nice shampoos etc. Kitchen well kitted out. I would recommend at least a Mountain view room as these are upstairs with a balcony, the downstairs face the car parking area. There are two bed apartments but I cannot comment on those. Whilst some reviews have commented on the rooms being a little dated, and I wouldn’t disagree however, that should be considered against the cost of the apartment compared with other Queenstown properties. We found it excellent value overall.

The rooms are very spacious, even the bathroom. So it's a lovely place to relax after a long day. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything we needed. Town centre is a 13 minute walk, which is really nice, but there is a very steep hill on the way!

I had a fantastic stay at Amity Apartments in Queenstown! The apartment was incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, and generously sized rooms. The friendly staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to town—and the convenience of on-site parking was a great bonus. I absolutely loved my time here and highly recommend staying at Amity Apartments!

Stayed here for two nights on a Road Trip. It was a great spot to rest and get re-centered. Had a bathtub which I LOVE and used to relax. Kora (spelling?) was extremely attentive and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. She was very kind, warm, and welcoming. NOTE - Our room did not have air conditioned and we did arrive on one of the hottest of the days so just be aware. And it is up on l large hill you will have to traverese to get to to all the shops and restaurants in Queenstown. Not a deal breaker for me but wanted to let y'all know.
