We spent 7 nights at this beautiful resort. We needed a place that was wheelchair accessible for our Mum and Amoa was great in this regard. The room we had was accessible and enough space to manoeuvre mums wheelchair. Showers had ample space for mum to be wheeled into shower and wheeled out. Pathways were accessible in most of the resort apart from pool area that only had steps but no ramp. We also couldn't take mums wheelchair to the deck that looked over the amazing view over the sea as path is sand and grass, but we were still able to take her close enough to enjoy the view. Breakfast was included in accommodation and we enjoyed the food. There was not alot of options for mum to eat as she does not eat meat, just fish due to health reasons, but over all it was pleasant. There are plenty of local markets and restaurants in surrounding areas to check out. Service was friendly and easy communication which always makes a stay so nice. Thank you Amoa for making our stay memorable. Mum already felt like a burden with a wheelchair but she able to enjoy most of what you had to offer for all quests. We will be back again God willing, with our families.

The vibe of this resort is super relaxed. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and unlike some other resorts we visited, seem like they genuinely want to be there which makes a big difference. The grounds are well maintained and pretty. Chicken and roosters roam around freely giving it an authentic vibe (although they do also crow very early so be prepared to wake early or take earplugs!). The room (21) was well appointed and spacious and the outdoor rainfall shower was great (completely sealed door to rest of bathroom so no bugs or mozzies can get in). The overhead fans and aircon kept the room cool. The menu was good and reasonably priced with the usual favourites. The included breakfast had an adequate spread of cereals, toast, fruit, eggs, some hot dishes and a traditional Samoan dish. The pool was lovely, and perhaps because this resort is smaller, just a lot quieter than other resorts which meant you could take a dip and then relax on one of the lounges for as long as you wanted without being rushed or interrupted. The beach is across the road and a tropical paradise. There was a complimentary activity at 5pm each day (village walk, koko demonstration, basket weaving, lei making to name a few). Amoa is about a 15 min drive north of the ferry wharf. We would definitely stay again :)

Beautiful resort! I was only here two nights but had a lovely stay. The room was massive and really nice - especially the shower which has an open roof which feels like you are showering in nature! The pool area was also nice and I enjoyed eating at the restaurant. The food was good and they had entertainment on both nights I was there! I didn’t have the chance to visit the beach area so I can’t comment on this but the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel super welcome on my solo trip!

Our family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children, just spent 3 nights at Amoa Resort Savaii. We had the most amazing time. Our time in Savaii was the highlight of the trip for us. The resort location was perfect and so central to be able to drive out to all the beautiful sights we wanted to see around Savaii. People say it’s not a beach front resort, but the short walk across the road was so easy. We all loved jumping off the deck area into the crystal clear water. ||We had a garden room with 2 x Queen beds and 1 x single bed. It was so spacious and so clean. The bathroom was beautiful and huge. The air con and fan were great for keeping the room nice and cool.||What we loved most was how friendly the staff were. It really made the place special! They really go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time there.||The food at the restaurant was delicious, our kids especially loved the milkshake specials! The breakfast was enjoyed each day.||The resort is so peaceful and it really feels like you are on holiday. We will definitely be back to stay at Amoa again next time we are in Samoa.||Fa'afetai Lava Amoa Resort!|From the Williams Family 🌺

Had a lovely stay at Amoa. Fantastic pool. Daily activities. Walk across the road to the private beachfront, where there is easy ramp access to the ocean or if the tides right you can jump off the viewpoint platform. The resort can provide kyack, life jackets and snorkeling gear… keep in mind there is no life guard so competent swimmers only should venture outside the lagoon. ||We also made use of the in house tour guide and driver. We undertook two competitively priced private tours, which were fully customised to our requirements. Our guide Koki and driver Moe were absolutely fantastic. Both very knowledgeable and accommodating. (Thanks to Henry - Amoa manager for organising all this for us). ||Rooms very clean and spacious with an huge indoor outdoor shower. ||Highly recommended.

Our family of 6 have just finished a wonderful stay at Amoa resort for 4 nights. As we have young children, we had 2 of the garden rooms side by side with a walk through door in the middle. The rooms were very spacious, exceptionally clean, a beautiful scent, great air conditioning and amazing showers. The beds were also nice and comfortable. The kids loved the pool, and the resort is in a great location across the road from the beach with pristine blue water. While they have a limited menu, the food is very fresh and tasty with a few traditional options and western options to choose from. For a continental breakfast, we were happy with what was offered (fresh fruit, boiled eggs, a traditional breakfast item each day such as Koko Laisa, Kopai, Suafai etc, avocado, and cereals) and heavier items were available for purchase. What made this stay the best however, was the lovely team of staff at Amoa. They were genuinely caring, attentive, and went above and beyond. Everything was done with a smile, and they seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. We have just arrived at another well known resort in Apia where the service just does not compare and my wife and kids keep saying how much they miss the staff at Amoa. In talking with the staff it is evident they are well treated and looked after by the owners and management and that is reflective in the way they treat their guests. If you want true Samoan hospitality, we can't recommend Amoa enough. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay something we will remember forever.

We felt that each and everyone were simply themselves, showcasing true Samoan hospitality. After statying at Amoa we stayed at another well known resort and we just could not help but keep comparing them with Amoa, with Amoa being the clear winners (mainly due to staff, food and room cleanliness being the difference). It is clear Amoa look after their staff resulting in them being happy to be at work and extending to a positive guest experience. Well done.|A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay something we will remember forever.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service. From visiting the other resorts on the island, Amoa is still the best resort. Concierge, reception, restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant meals were nice - appreciated they had traditional Samoan dishes on offer. The beach is across the road. The nightly rates are quite high for the standard of rooms. While the rooms are clean, spacious and have a beautiful outdoor shower, the following issues should be addressed immediately: - The rooms have no phones. This is a safety and service issue. If you want anything or have any issues, you have to walk to the reception. What happens in an emergency? A heart attack? A break in? They should seriously consider this. - The room safe does not work. The resort has potential to be great and addressing the above issues will help them get there. Considering it is by far the best resort on island, and in a great location (not far from Wharf), I would happily stay here again.
