Breakfast sandwich was amazing. Hot and made fresh with a side of potatoes. Best breakfast we had during our MV visit and half the price of another popular spot on the island located behind a bookstore. Visited this cafe on their second day of being open which was the morning we were leaving unfortunately. Had we been staying longer, we would have eaten here every day. I am bummed I wasn't able to try the iced vodka lemonade but 9am before a long journey home was a little too early. Gentleman seated next to us was a regular and he ordered some sort of yogurt bowl that looked really good. Overall, nice experience and I hope they have successful season!

Google
It’s a cute cafe. It’s a perfect place to enjoy breakfast on their patio if the weather cooperates. Coupled with the fact that they aren’t that many competent breakfast eateries nearby, this cafe naturally becomes the best breakfast cafe. Service can be excruciatingly slow at times, but it’s pretty norm for the island. Menu is somewhat extensive, but I find their quiche to be most outstanding.

Google
Cute breakfast/lunch spot in Edgartown. Ordered at the outside window and waiting around 5-10 minutes for my order to be ready. I had the morning breakfast bowl which was good but $15 for a Greek yogurt and granola bowl with fruit is a little cray. Granola was also more akin to a shredded wheat cereal than a traditional granola. Would try again but would probably not get the yogurt bowl.

Google
I ordered something unique which is shakshuka bowl and it tasted good. Customer service needs improvement at this location. When I arrived, one of the server said that seat is on first come first served basis. So I had to wait for someone to vacate the table in order to sit. I sat on the table and no one brought the menu until I asked and then no one was coming to take my order. I didn't know until I asked one of the servers that we had to make order at the counter before taking the seat. So the staff needs to be more attentive to customer concerns and have better communication which could have saved me a lot of time.

After cursing a writing an original review two years ago we are back. This place is better than before. Great service and the food was awesome. Summer salad and tuna melt didn’t disappoint Would go there again for sure.

Google
Really cute spot. Feels so special to have breakfast literally among the flowers. Ordered espresso over ice and topped with milk at the coffee bar (prefer this over ordering an iced latte). Enjoyed the coffee. Also had the bowl with rice, beans, onions, eggs, etc. Tasted like they threw the ingredients into the bowl and microwaved it. It was edible, but definitely not worth the $17 or so. Wouldn’t recommend this dish, but I tried my friend’s breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The muffins and other breakfast bites looked amazing too.

Google
I get a bowl from these guys almost everyday and it’s like new everytime. If you’re new in town and feel like trying something good here is the place, you found it no need to look through anymore reviews use this one review to try everything on their menu and then thank me later.

Yelp
Excellent little breakfast spot with all outdoor seating, but somewhat limited. Simple yet creative menu. I opted for the special - Chili Lime Avocado Toast with fresh fruit. It was hearty and very tasty! I will be back.

Yelp
We got a side of butter toasted sour bread. The roll had SO MUCH MEAT we could spit it between two sandwiches! Perfect amount and delish The area is beautiful outside and the staff is pretty friendly. It was about $36 for two people watching lobster! That's what I call a great price, especially in Cape Cod!

Yelp
Adorable little cafe! Inside is cute and they bring your food out to you after ordering at a window. A diverse order: chicken salad sandwich, acai, and chicken caesar salad. Acai is a 7/10 and pretty much average. Chicken salad sandwich is creamy and the sourdough is very soft. Chicken caesar salad is an 8/10! Would recommend!!

Yelp
Great food - particularly liked the chicken sandwich and hummus wrap. Great muffins, smoothies and oatmeal. Great vibes - look forward to returning!

Yelp
Awesome place for lunch. They are pet friendly and food is amazing. I had the grilled chicken with avocado and the grilled chicken summer salad. You order and then find a table to seat yourselves. They have some healthy options to choose from their menu.

Yelp
Cute cafe, great food options and deliciously large portions. People are friendly and quick service.

Yelp
We ordered two smoothies, but they were mixed up in the busy kitchen and took a while to come out. However, the lone server was very attentive and apologetic despite the many tasks on her plate! The cafe is decorated with cute murals.

Yelp
Good breakfast. A little different than a diner which was great. Healthier food choices. The quinoa breakfast bowl was tasty. Servers were very easy going.

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere in the outdoor seating area with lots of fresh flowers. It's a much more casual vibe of ordering at a window and seating yourself. The food is good, but not a big fan of the potatoes. The blueberry muffin was really good!

Yelp
Cute cafe and good food. The only thing is that the cafe doesn't have a bathroom for public use and it can get chilly outside. I loved the Caesar salad! It was so so good! The lobster in the lobster roll was a bit overdone but still tasty.

Yelp
This is a great stop if you are looking for a quick breakfast or lunch in the Edgartown area. I like that you order at the window and they bring the food out to you. It makes ordering fast and efficient. Typically I would say that their prices are pretty high for what you get but I guess that's expected in Edgartown. I've been here twice; once I got an açaí bowl and the other time was a Caesar salad. The açaí bowl was delicious and it's the only one I can find in town. If highly recommend adding peanut butter on top for only about $1 more. Their Caesar salad was quite good too. I wish they gave you the option to either have the dressing on the side or have it pre-mixed because I much prefer it pre-mixed. That's my biggest critique though, which isn't much. Everyone here is friendly and the menu has good options for everyone. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Not the same anymore. Self service limited menu now 2 top tables only Very tight spacing

Yelp
Kind staff. The atmosphere is what will bring me back over and over again! Food was good! It's an amazing little spot that is just gorgeous.

Yelp
I had heard about Among The Flowers from several different people. The receptionist at the hotel we were staying at, my cousin, who used to live at the vineyard, and a few other people. If I had heard this much buzz, that meant I needed to go try it out. My family and I were in the vineyard, staying in Edgartown for my cousin's wedding. We had stayed over the night before to join in on the night before festivities, and the next day/the morning of the wedding, we all slept in, and we were looking for some breakfast. Well, sleeping in for me as I am a new mother is about eight. We got there 830 and the expecting to have a long wait since this was such a highly sought out restaurant. Because it was a little bit off season, we had no wait at all. We walked right up, placed our orders, and found a beautiful spot in the shade. All of the seating is outdoor, but most of it covered, a few tables outside the covered area in the sunlight. The girl who took our order was super sweet. I ordered the quinoa, breakfast bowl and my husband ordered the traditional two egg breakfast with white toast and bacon. My son shared with us. They also had a lot of cool items like açai bowls, and breakfast bowls, etc. Smoothies, coffee, you name it. They had a great selection. They also have beautiful flowers at every table. You can actually go inside their bakery area and grab stuff to go. Their muffins looked and smelled so delicious. I'm sort of a muffin snob, I love when they spill over the top. They only had two flavors that day, and I got one of each. Classic, blueberry and banana chocolate chip. I knew my dad was meeting us and he loves muffins so I gave him the blueberry muffin and he raved about it. I actually saved the other muffin for the next day and ate it on the ferry. For a day-old muffin it was pretty good. I actually wanted to go the next morning before we got on the boat to grab some muffins, but time did not allow for it. Overall, this place has a very cool environment, great service, fair prices, and, a wide selection on the menu. If ever back in Edgartown, I would definitely go back and eat here.

Yelp
Been wanting to experience a meal here before getting to Edgartown on Martha's Island. Unfortunately when we visited yesterday I neglected to look at the hours of operation and they close at 2pm and open again at 5pm. It was 2:30pm when we got hungry. We came back to Edgartown to see some historic sites that were closed and of course to eat here. So glad we did! The food was hot and delicious! Yum yum! The potatoes were fresh and so tasty. The outdoor patio was very pretty and enjoyable place to eat our lunch. The person who left the review saying his food was cold must have not picked up his food right away because you order from one window and minutes later they call your name and you pick up your food from the next window. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon on gluten free bread. The bacon was thick, meaty and delicious and lots of it. My granddaughter had the Açaí bowl filled with blueberry, strawberry, banana, granola, peanut butter, coconut shreds and lots of açaí of course. Very large bowl. You don't want to miss this side street little gem; worth the wait in line!

Cindi K.

Yelp
You order, pay at the window, then sit. They bring your food to you. The chicken salad and acai bowl were delicious. Nothing fancy just good food! We've been here several times over the years and it never disappoints.

Yelp
Being on Martha's Vineyard, you feel as if you've entered a small dimension of Europe. Among The Flowers Cafe certainly reminds you of it at least! This little cafe is easily identifiable with none other than beautiful, bright flowers in front of the cafe. You can either enjoy your breakfast inside (also as small as your typical European restaurant) or outside. I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich: your choosing of the type of bread you would like over bacon, an egg, and gouda cheese, served with a side of overcooked, flavorless potato squares. I love potatoes, but this could have been mashed into mashed potatoes! Breakfast was bland and light, but at least you can look at the flowers...

Yelp
This was a great find in Edgartown! The omelet serving sizes were huge and delicious. The eggs were really fluffy and it was nicely stuffed with cream cheese and smoked salmon. I also tried the Bloody Mary which was simple but really good! The only downside was the seating arrangement was really tight and you should expect a slight wait for a table.

Yelp
Visited for lunch this week and so glad we did. Casual outdoor dining on the patio is a delight. I had the morning sandwich and my boyfriend had the turkey and bacon sandwich on gf bread. Both were fantastic. Would absolutely go back.

Karen S.

Yelp
Good place for breakfast, egg sandwiches, and different breakfast items that all looked really good. An $11 smoothie may be a little outrageous in my opinion. Pretty to eat outside. Good coffee!

Kara K.

Yelp
Food was good! We got quiche that was tasty, and it came with fruit. The outdoor seating was cute.

Yelp
Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers and the simple but precisely executed items at Among the Flowers are both delectable and convenient. Order your item at the window then find a charming table either in the sun or shade to sip your drink while waiting a short while to indulge. I highly recommend the ciabatta breakfast sandwich with coffee and orange juice or one of their fabulous muffins. Everything is prepared onsite; this is no microwaved hot pocket but a home-cooked delight. Highly recommend!

Yelp
WOW! The summer salad with extra avocado and grilled chicken HIT where it needed to hit. However, 24 dollars for seemed a bitttttt of a stretch. Someone called this a burst of flavor; I'd have to agree. Fruit was so fresh and goat cheese added the perfect amount of savory. Will be returning.

Yelp
Bike rental shop, Sun and Fun, in Oak Bluffs recommended this lovely spot. Quaint little cafe with delicious food and charming decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had the quiche and an açaí bowl with mimosas. Relaxing, casual vibe and excellent food. Great place to start your day!

Michele P.

Yelp
Wonderful lunch, superb service. Have the mint frozen lemonade. Amazing! Make this a stop when you're on the Vineyard!

Yelp
Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. English Muffin, Egg, Bacon and potatoes on the side. You order at the window and then they bring it out to your table as carryout. I asked to use the restroom and they said they didn't have one for the public. I said, "you're a restaurant, how can you not have a bathroom, isn't there some kind of law that mandates that", the response was that because it was carryout they didn't need to provide one until they started service again, I asked for the location of a restroom and was directed to go across the street. I wish I would have known that before I tipped them 15% for carryout. Great food, minimal service, no bathroom - there's one across the street at a hotel, walk past the checkin counter, turn left, the door says "employee restroom".

Chris S.

Yelp
Super fresh and flavorful. Big portions on the quiche which was yummy. Nice folks too. Very casual. Only outside seating.
google avatar

Silv V.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast and had the "breakfast sandwich" with ciabatta bread (eggs, cheese, meat) which didn't disappoint. The food was given in single use containers with plastic utensils which I appreciated during the times of Covid. The outdoor seating was the cutest part of the cafe. It offered seating which looked out to the water. One negative would be the lack of bathrooms for customer use.

Yelp
We loved this restaurant for several reasons. It was within walking distance from our hotel but the food was the main reason. The staff took great care during the pandemic to make us feel safe and cared for. We loved the breakfast selections and tried something different every morning. When we are in Edgartown, this cafe is on our list
google avatar

Yelp
Huge menu, adorable cafe, outdoor seating. It's the perfect brunch spot for this adorable, little town. It's simple food, the servers are friendly and easygoing, and the menu is universally delicious. I ordered: -Corn chowder (I liked it better than the clam chowder!) -Roast beef sandwich (I would've gotten it without coleslaw on it, but delicious!) -Waffle (yes, I did order a waffle after eating sandwich and soup- so good) I loved their menu and would def recommend!

Felipe D.

Yelp
This a nice little corner, great for breakfast o brunch. The waffles were really good. The coffee is also great. I went there with my family and we enjoyed the food, the place and a nice view. The food arrive quickly although it was pretty busy. There are not many table, it's a small place, we were lucky to get a table, They serve all the order on "to-go" boxes... I didn't check but I certainly hope they recycle.

Yelp
Really great dinner! We had a great time relaxing on the patio with the lobster dinner. We went the first week they started offering the dinners back in June. Delicious and fun!

Rainbow M.

Yelp
Delicious!! Went for Mother's Day and had an amazing spread of fresh and unique menu options. Service was great also. My only wish is for less waist as everything is to go.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of this place. They make it very appealing from the name of the place to what it looks like on the outside (very beautiful flowers and seating). But the food was low quality. The eggs had barely any yolk, the orange juice was advertised as fresh squeezed but didn't taste like it at all, the salad lacked flavor, feta cheese was low quality, and the sausage was horrible. I can make a much better meal at home.
google avatar

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Our food was not even seasoned. The whole meal was incredibly bland and disappointing. The staff are nice and all; it's great to find a place that's opened even during the off season.
google avatar

Josh P.

Yelp
The only meal we had in MV that ranks 5 stars. Maybe because it was a breakfast meal instead of seafood but everything was great. My wife had some sort of lentil quinoa which managed to be both healthful and tasty. This is horrible, but 5 days later as I write this, I am having a hard time recalling what I had. (Could it have been lemon poppy pancakes?) At the time, though, I know it was fantastic. My daughter had a hash. I enjoyed talking to the owner and despite the fact that I kept asking our server for coffee refills (pissing her off no doubt) she still offered me a to go cup for one last refill. Top notch service AND eats.

Yelp
Long lines are worth the wait when you dine at this cutesy cafe. The food is pretty amazing and service is pretty fast. Definitely worth going if you are in town.

Saranya K.

Yelp
Great breakfast in town. It was great to stopped by and having breakfast before we travelling in Martha's vineyard.

Michelle P.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant on the island. Their food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. Today I ordered the chia seed pudding and it was delicious. So fresh and tasty. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
google avatar

Kym M.

Yelp
Friendly service - average coffee. Lovely little hole-in-the-wall place. The coffee is run-of-the-mill but when the sunshine's it is a lovely place to sit - mind you likely to be very busy in the summer
google avatar

Colin R.

Yelp
Charming and worth the wait! The granola was the best item at our table! Steel cut oatmeal was exception and the crepe was lackluster and looked better than it tasted! All in all, worth the 5 stars for the ambience and service!
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
We had breakfast at this restaurant due to all the great reviews. There were 10 of us and we had a variety of dishes. However, food was ok. Their famous corn beef hash was disappointing. Good location but not impressed with the food.
google avatar

Jane M.

Yelp
Cute venue but dining area could use a serious Powerwashing. Felt a little grimy. Pancakes were fine amd fruit was decent. Quiche was crustless and not that good. Not sure I'd come back.
google avatar

Helik S.

Yelp
We looked forward to our visit, considering raving reviews, however the expectations were not met. While the food is OK (Waffle, Omelette ), coffee was mediocre, the appearance and staff's attitude were less than positive. It does have the potential to live up to its cuteness appeal, but there seems to be no loving hand taking care of the flowers, and the overall shape and cleanliness of the outdoor seating area. As tourists, who pretty much constitute the customer basis for this place, we expected a more enthusiastic local welcome. Unfortunately it was not be found. Maybe a bad day, maybe the standard. We won't be going back there.
google avatar

Vivien T.

Yelp
so we had just biked 1 hour from oak bluffs to edgartown and was just famished, sunburnt and dying of thirst. this place was salvation for us, as it was pretty close to where we parked our bikes. it's a nice enough place.. you order your food.. then you sit in their garden oasis.. filled with flowers and string lights.. and nestled away from the bustle of all the tourists of martha's vineyard.. it's got your standard new england fare.. with the lobster rolls and such.. i docked off a star bc they mistakenly charged my friend an extra $20 for no reason.. he eventually got it back in cash but okk... and it was like asking for an arm to get a pitcher of tap water.. but i left full and rejuvenated..
google avatar

Libby R.

Yelp
Nice little breakfast spot! Found it on a sunny May day so we were able to sit outside with no crowd. The omelette and coffee were good, lovely presentation with flowers on the plate and sides in little flower pots. Can't imagine it in busy season but it was a winner for our quiet spring trip to the Vineyard!

Yelp
A darling (yes, darling) little corner cafe on the brutal backstreets of Edgartown. And by brutal, I mean darling. Again. Breakfast and lunch dishes, mostly egg-centric (omelettes, frittatas), with loads of fresh fruit options and only al fresco seating on a tight patio. You'll feel like you're among the family reunion you actually want to attend: kids running, Vineyard ladies chatting pastels and smiling staffers navigating microchannels between seatbacks, carve by hustling booties. The cinnamon roll comes three ways: plain, iced or iced with candied nuts, so pick your poison and be ready to share. It's a doozy. The unsung hero, oddly hidden on the Sides menu, is the corned beef hash. Yes, hash is as regular as bacon and sausage, but even the full meal (with two eggs your way and toast) is an option listed there. And with their homemade version that mimics the best parts of Hormel - a fine potato dice, savory and seared crisp - while tossing aside the weak (tinny aftertaste, under-seasoned). It's at once nostalgic and uniquely theirs. Free refills on coffee, tea and soda, but try not to percolate post-meal - there's always a line, and for good reason.

Yelp
Great good / average service We had a great meal. The egg salad sandwich was especially good. However they brought the wrong thing for 2 of our 4 meals. One of which we sent back. We also ordered one dish and 30 minutes in they told us there was an additional wait for that item while they made more so one of our party did not get to eat at all. We wanted to love this place and might come back. If we had had better service we probably would have loved this place.
