Amora Hotel Chiang Mai

Beautiful hotel in need of some upgrades. The lobby is beautiful and very modern, however the rooms do leave some things to be desired. You can tell the rooms are quite old. Some things for me did not work like the refrigerator and the wifi was really slow. I am willing to look past these things because the location was great and the service was excellent. I received a free upgrade to the Princess Suite which was nice, but the room still had a few small problems. The remote system they used for the lighting was a bit odd and touchy, and I would have preferred physical switches. The bathroom was mostly nice, but the shower looked old and worn, and the hot water would randomly spike to scorching hot at times. Lastly, the bed was fairly firm but it was comfortable enough to sleep in and I got good rest. The service I got from all aspects of the hotel was great. The lady who ran the hotel taxi service as well was super kind. I needed to go to Central Festival and had a hard time using Grab here. She had no other drivers and she personally drove me to the Central Festival mall at a fair price. A little more than Grab, but I was already waiting 15 minutes for a ride at that point, so the extra cost was worth it to me for immediate and kind service. I still give 4 stars because the price was fair and the location was excellent, right near the gate. If they can invest a bit to improve their rooms I definitely think this would be THE spot to go to in Chiang Mai. Regardless I will visit this location again if I ever come back to Chiang Mai.

We stayed three nights at this hotel in Chiang Mai, and I really loved it. It was definitely a very comfortable bed and modern hotel room. Mini fridges are in the rooms. The breakfast is very good, and the location is terrific. The hotel is easy to find because it is one of the taller buildings in Chiang Mai. The staff were gracious and friendly, but not everyone spoke English. Everyone knew a few words, but not much more. Anything you might need you can find nearby.

Amora tapae hotel is located just a stone’s throw away at tapae gate wherein you can have photos with the pigeon. Very good breakfast selection, wide variety. The room is superb, with hot water and bath tub. The shampoo and body wash smell good, I love their scent. Staff are very kind and polite. This hotel looks better, new, and clean in person than in photograps and videos that I have watched! Amazing! Highly recommended. Will book again!

I had a wonderful stay at Amora Hotel in Chiang Mai! The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the amazing spa. The treatments were top-notch and provided a truly relaxing experience – a must-try if you’re staying here. There’s also a small pool, which is great for a quick dip and adds a nice touch to the hotel’s facilities. The location is ideal, close to the heart of Chiang Mai, so getting around was easy. Overall, Amora Hotel offers great value with its lovely rooms, excellent spa, and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

The hotel is old and worn down. The place is clean, that not the problem. But the rooms are just so old at this point that its no longer a four star or even three star hotel. The beds are very hard, and the bathroom has no moveable spray faucet. Everything has a distinct odor. The breakfast is terrible. I would definitely skip that. The staff is very kind and gracious.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old town. You do need to cross some busy streets to get to old town, but this is not really a huge concern. The hotel also provides a dedicated shuttle bus to the mall, but there are way too many people using it. The breakfast was not bad. However I must point out that the room is extremely old, had poor lightinghad a dirty feel to it. The bed was not soft and smelled. The worst was the towel, which had serious amount of stain on them which can only be seen when light is shining through it. Also the AC in the rooms are absolutely out of control, wayyy too cold even on the lowest setting. I won’t come back here due to the cleanliness issue and the AC.

We spent 6 nights in Chiang Mai and this hotel was an awesome location. We originally booked for 4 and were going to move locations but it was so great we booked 2 more nights. The price was very good in October, I think $60 a night. We had a king room where two twins were pushed together and the room was very large with plenty of space. It was very easy to get around from the hotel and the staff were very kind. They helped us book a couple of last minute excursions. I had a lovely massage at the spa too. The pool area was nice and is in the shade most of the day so the water stayed cool. We didn't realize how to work the AC the first couple of nights so it was hot but when we went to the front desk they sent someone right up and got it working for us.

Just stayed one night with 80% discount. Was very nice and the entrance hall looks very beautiful. The service with luggage was nice. Breakfast was ok, not the best but a good standard. Can't say much more because i didn't try. They also have Spa and massages
