Amora Tha Phae Chiang Mai

Older building and amenities but very clean. The room service staff are amazing and do a great job of cleaning and restocking the room. The security is funny and great conversation. Thank you big brother for helping us park. The checkin desk wasn’t very welcoming on arrival (could just be random but we have not encountered many of the front employees in the few days staying here.)

During our recent three-night stay, we were delighted with the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were all fluent in English and went out of their way to ensure that our experience was nothing short of wonderful. The property's location was excellent, and we appreciated the convenience of having an on-site restaurant. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and featured modern amenities, which contributed to an overall comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, everything in the room works well with good amenities. Great breakfast buffet with many different foods & drinks. Great for couples & families. Very good staff. Check in was super easy & fast. Good wi-fi. I had 8th floor room so it was quiet and serene, a good night's sleep.

The property could use some minor maintenance but is still very comfortable and well located. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. A/C worked well and was needed. Many dining options are in walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. Situated just outside the old walled city you will need a Grab ride or taxi to get there from airport. It is an outstanding value for the price we paid!

Hotel is nice for short stay, close to city centre. Breakfast is good but few extra items needed for vegetarians.|Hotel rooms are good in size but almost in the verge of retiring. Bed and Matress are really poor quality for a 3 star hotel.|Service of staff are awesome.

This hotel could have been amazin and probably was at some point in the past. Unfortunately the rooms are really dated and the maintenance and upkeep of the rooms at best if very poorly done. Water leaks around the sink and the air conditioning never works properly, our AC was either on full blast and the room was freezing or it was too hot. For some reason the lower settings didn't work reliably. We're normally very laid back travellers but this was the first hotel where we had to change rooms not once but twice. Now before you write off this place entirely, it is actually not a bad hotel if you kinda go in with your eyes open. The location is quite nice actually and everything is within walking distance. you're right in the middle of everything and that's actually really nice. Also if you're booking excursions you'll have no trouble getting picked up. So really it could be a great property but it needs some updating and cleaning up and it could go from good to great.

I thought the hotel was nice. It has a good location next to the ancient city, the bedrooms are big, the bathroom is big, and it was comfortable. The swimming is in a sunny area in the morning and there are people and less pigeons.The staff are very friendly and helped me get a taxi when needed. Breakfast is available and it’s ok (not great, but good). I stayed at the Amora hotel for 5 days and would stay there again.
