Amp Artisan Coffee

AMP Coffee is my #1 favorite coffee shop in Denver!! I've been to over a dozen coffee shops, and Amp has the most unique speciality flavors I've had. They have a wonderful inspired mix of flavors, with made in-house syrups. The head barista, Elias, is so fun and sweet to chat with! Great music, coffee, and conversations are to be found here.

Coffee is very good! All syrups are homemade. Staff is friendly and want to make sure you have a good experience! If you want to have some fun, have the “barista creation drink”! Barista will make you a drink that fits your niche. When I got the drink, I loved the flavor notes they picked. Go check them out!

Fantastic coffee and espresso drinks, with unique and eclectic flavours. The head barista has a great sense of flavour and makes fantastic drinks. All syrups are handmade. Ignore the same old flavours from the chain coffee places and find a new, unique beverage here!

Super friendly staff on a slow Tuesday. The cold brew is exceptional. We even talked coffee:water ratios. They don’t normally serve heavy cream (which is my go to with cold brew), but offered a fresh carton used in the homemade brown butter syrup. Cool vibe surrounding this shop - artisans abound!

As hole-in-the-wall coffee shops go, this place is about as good as they can get. I've visited a few times over the past couple months, engaging with just about everyone who works there and trying several of their drinks, and have come away thoroughly pleased with the experience each and every time. The baristas are kind and conversational, and know how to make a good cup of whatever you're ordering. The menu is full of intriguing drinks many of which I've never seen before along with the reliable standbys, all made with intention and care. Coffee shops these days are often money grabs, trying to compete with the big chains. This place feels more like a bookstore, where you're greeted warmly, given time and space to meander, enjoy a conversation with whomever is manning the post, and then sent on your way with something wonderful in your hands. Places like this are not common. They are not easily made. They a treasures, fueled by care, hidden away from common sight, and worth every moment of effort to find. The coffee at the nearby shops are good. But this place, on the whole, is great. Take the time to go here. A lot. P.S. - If there are any cookies left, you owe it to yourself to try one.

First visit and instantly became a new favorite! Super friendly staff, I love that the syrups are made right there, and especially love the seasonal menu. My girlfriend and I got two different drinks off the seasonal menu (I can't remember the exact names, but one had rose and cardamom and the other had fig and star anise) and they were both absolutely amazing. We both commented that it was almost the coffee version of craft cocktails with the flavor profiling. Will absolutely be coming back to visit and try more of these amazing creations!

If you want great artisan coffee this is your place! It’s a cute and aesthetically pleasing. If you don’t have the patience to wait for your coffee then I would go to Starbucks or something. Loved that they make each cup of coffee exactly to what you want! My friends and I loveeeeed the cold brew, we each chose our own different flavors and my friends got cold brew with cold foam! 10/10 will come here again! They have dairy free milk options as well, and great flavors! It’s inside a building that has other stores as well!

Was walking around the neighborhood and stopped by for some coffee! Tried the pandan latte and it was a bit sweeter than expected, but still good! Had a lovely conversation with the staff and loved the story behind the coffee shop. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Stopped by Amp Artisan Coffee and had an iced latte with almond milk and caramel syrup. It was absolutely fantastic. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what I needed to start my day. Elias was incredibly patient, calm, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. A perfect morning coffee stop and I will definitely be coming back.

What a great little coffee shop that has recently opened located in Free Market. As a visitor to Denver I can see the coffee choices appear truly endless and my wife and I don't have enough to try them all. This is one of the coffee spots worth adding to your list! Friendly and welcoming staff that put attention and care into crafting delicious drinks. They have a lot of the standards you'd expect with plenty of specialties (including year-round and seasonal ones). As I mentioned it's part of Free Market but they have a little bar that you can enjoy their coffee right there if wanted. My wife and I both made the same choice and went with their Bisco Cap that was a cookie butter cappuccino with crumbled cookies and cinnamon. The flavor was great and was the perfect temperature to drink right away. Both my wife and I were very impressed. We did not partake but they have tasty looking pastries available to pair with your drink too. Check this place out for your morning beverage of choice!

This shop was located inside one of those spaces that rents out to different local artistic businesses. I got the Jam Sess Latte and it exceeded expectations in flavor combo. It was unique and well balanced. And you could tell the espresso itself was of good quality. I'd definitely come back

located in a cool makers market! the coffee was delicious and they had very creative and fun specials. The staff were also extremely kind and wonderful.

Stopped in today for a little pick me up and I'm glad I did! I was warmly greeted by the shop owners. The space was clean, quiet and comfy. Finn made some great suggestions. I got the Jam Session latte and it was delicious! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Denver
