Food was okay. Coffee was $8 for a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso Service was good. Took the order quickly and kindly. Items came out in a timely manner. Atmosphere was good. I wish the club half was sectioned off enough where the blinding daylight from the front of the building wasn't noticeable to make it more emersive. During the day it's kind of barren. Christian worship music was cool to hear in a place like that, but odd nice to other tracks in the playlist. Would come again.

All the baristas were working hard and getting everyone's order out, however, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Banana Milk Matcha Latte once I got it! Very creative flavors, with none being overpowering and it all subtly complementing this lovely drink. We relaxed on the patio outside of the cafe for a bit - it's in one of those up-and-coming/gentrifying areas of Fort Worth, so at the moment there's just an empty field on the other side of the street, but I bet it'll soon be filled in. All in all, a great spot to stop by if in the area! Clean, modern, and high quality drinks!

Great, non-dusty matcha and unique drink selection! Love the asian inspired and different seasonal flavors here. Love their run club every Thursday. The interior is cozy, dimly lit and music can be a bit loud sometimes so not ideal for video calls—but still ideal for studying and reading or chatting with friends.

My friend and I stopped in after a late lunch in the neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed the cafe. The coffee was delicious and the Beyonce was playing! If I lived in the DFW area, I would definitely make this a home away from home. The vibe is right! Make sure to stop by for a cup.

Had a lavender vanilla latte and a chai tea—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were smooth and not too sweet, and the whole place had such a warm, relaxed vibe. Definitely a great spot to unwind or catch up with a friend.

Love it here, coffees are always good and there always got something. Weekends you’re gonna wait in line, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Be mindful of the paid parking spots, FWPD is strolling around on the weekends.

I've only tried the coffee, but im sure the bar drinks are just as good! Get up and join the run club, and don't forget the coffee on the way out! Definitely recommend this place 👌

Ampersand has such a cozy vibe! We had the vanilla chai latte and iced lavender latte, and they were both so good—really smooth and flavorful. The atmosphere is super chill, perfect for relaxing. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Another day, another coffee joint with my sister. This time, it happened to have the same name as my favorite ice cream spot, so why not? The shop itself was a lot bigger than I expected. Plenty of seats outside, a few in the front where you order, and a whole back area that looked like a bar lounge-- I guess that's what it is?... Aesthetically? They could do better back there. The front area and outside is cute though. My favorite part was the wall area with the sign that I took a photo of my drinks at. Staff-- not the friendliest bunch really, but the girl that helped us did her job. We did have a little miscommunication mishap for my order but she took care of it. Granted, they did make me feel pretty awkward correcting the mistake but she got it done. The other two just stared at me and made me feel dumb... but, I'm glad I didn't just let it go and got what I originally wanted. I paid for it, and it's their job. Not trying to sound mean but people tend to hate doing what they're paid to do nowadays and I shouldn't feel bad having to ask for what I paid for done correctly. It was between the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew or the Pumpkin Chai Latte for me and I asked her which would be better... I wanted sweet, but not too sweet... somehow, that lead to her putting me down for a plain, not-sweet-at-all latte.......... clearly, my two options were Pumpkin though, right? Idk... Anyway, I got two drinks. I also got the Vietnamese coffee. My sister got two drinks as well, the Cinnamon Roll Latte and the Strawberry Fields. Once I did get my Pumpkin Chai, it was good. Not the best thing I've ever had but so much better than the plain, flavorless Latte. The Vietnamese coffee was okay, I've had better honestly... I didn't finish it. It wasn't strong, and it was very sweet. As for my sister's drinks, I can't speak for her on the Strawberry Fields, but I did take a sip of the Cinnamon Roll drink-- eesh, waaay too sweet! Definitely tasted like a Cinnamon Roll though... but I'd rather take that sweetness from an actual Cinnamon Roll. All in all, I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back here but if my sister suggested it again on my next visit, I wouldn't completely write them off. I'd give it another go. I'm sorry, I just can't put my rating up there until they've proven otherwise.

I've heard so many good things about Ampersand, so I decided to stop by for a chai and to get some work done. Unfortunately, I wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be. This place is both a coffee shop and a bar. I visited on a Friday afternoon for the coffee shop side, and it wasn't my cup of tea. I wasn't a huge fan of the chai. It tasted rather too sweet instead of being as spicy and ginger-y as I like. I did like the moody, dim lighting for the vibes of getting work done though. Most people here were doing work, so it wasn't noisy in that regard. The music was pretty loud though. I could hear it through my noise-cancelling airpods and felt the vibration in the couches. Service was pretty standard. There's a tiny lot in the back with free parking. There's also parking in the front that you have to pay for. Overall, I wish I enjoyed my first visit to Ampersand, considering many of my friends have said good things about it. Don't let my review sway you though, this may just not be my place!

Highly recommend their coffee lattes! I got the shaken signature toasted coconut latte, and it was so incredibly flavorful. Best iced latte I've had for a minute. Line was quite long Saturday early afternoon, but service was super fast and helpful! Immediately after ordering, we were next to receive our drinks. Lots of places to sit and lounge after ordering. Definitely can't wait to be back.

Trendy, lounge-style coffee shop with creative drinks! Ambiance: Coffee shop by day, disco lounge by night! The back area with the long bar and lounge seating is great for working--though the music's a bit loud and lighting is dim, so it may not be ideal for studying. Drink: I tried the Matchadoodle--perfectly sweet with a cinnamon kick that balanced the earthy matcha. Highly recommend! TL;DR: Stylish spot with cool vibes and standout drinks--great for casual work sessions, but not the quietest place to study. Try the Matchadoodle!

Got the matchadoodle and it was so good. I love how rich and earthy the matcha is here and the snickerdoodle part wasn't too overwhelming. Service was also so quick and they were so nice!! The interior is dark and intimate, a great place to chill and get some work done.

I was looking for a relaxing spot to get some coffee, knock out some work on the laptop, and kill some time after checking out of my hotel during my road trip before continuing east. This was everything and more. The coffee was of course delicious, and I got some great help from the staff to advise what I was looking for (there were some cool drinks that I wanted to try but would've been too sweet for my palette) Perfect working environment to chill at and get stuff done with video call level internet and WiFi speeds which was clutch.

Cool little place. I think it doubles as a bar at night. There's not a lot of seating in the coffee area but I do believe the bar and lounge is open for seating during the daytime. The matcha was alright but nothing to write home about. The service was good

We happened upon this great coffee shop. It is some of tbe best coffee in Fort Worth. Staff is very friendly. Although there was a bit of a line, we got our drinks in less than five minutes.

Ampersand is such a cool spot in Fort Worth--a coffee shop by day, a nightclub by night. When you arrive, there's parking right in front, but keep in mind it's pay-by-the-hour. When you arrive you'll order at the counter, and there's seating outside or in the back, which transforms into a club after hours. If you're into matcha, do yourself a favor and order the Strawberry Fields--matcha, simple syrup, and muddled strawberries. Seriously, it will change your life. The whole vibe here is cool, especially if you like a coffee shop with some club energy. Highly recommend checking it out!

Coffee was fine. Atmosphere was fine. Food was fine. Cleanliness was less than stellar. Service was great. No regrets - but wouldn't make a special trip to go again.

Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon to satisfy matcha and coffee cravings. There was ample curbside parking at the time, despite being located in a pretty popular area and conveniently next door to a taco restaurant. There was ample seating inside and outside, but we just grabbed coffee to go. I didn't try the matcha latte, because it was for someone else, but my medium blended caramel frappe was delicious! It was rich, sweet, and strong-- everything I love about frappes. Whipped cream would've been +75¢. Fun fact if you didn't already know, this place turns into a pretty poppin' bar at night

They mixed the banana and strawberry flavors into my matcha, was pretty good. Not the strongest matcha flavor though. Viet coffee wasn't my favorite either but not bad. Not my biggest recommendation, however if it's close maybe it's worth the visit. Very cool place though and the customer service is pretty good.

Ok so hear me out....ive never liked Matcha. So when my Friend suggested we go try this place for matcha, I was like ehh ok....location was great and several parking pots. The staff was super nice and quick. I tried the banana matcha and omg-so so good! I've been craving it for weeks now just haven't been able to make it back. It was so refreshing and loved the banana. My friend got the strawberry and she loved it. They have outside seating and they also have an area in the back for indoor seating . I saw some people just working on their laptops. Pricing was great!

Service and coffee was meh.... The price points were high for the sizes, and they do not have a shot differences with the sizes. So you are just getting more milk and syrup if you get the larger sizes.

What a vibe! Loved their concept of coffee shop by day and cocktail lounge/bar by night. I'm looking forward to coming back as a patron during the evening. Tried the Strawberry Fields Matcha Latte, and will admit that I should have gone with a classic matcha latte, I wasn't a fan of the sweetness of the strawberry fields. It was VERY strawberry forward, and that can work for some people, but I would have loved if the drink was a balance between the strawberry AND matcha. Loved the baristas, they were very kind and gave great insight on the menu.

Visiting town and looked up matcha places. I saw the good reviews so I wanted to try it. Place is very cool and trendy like speakeasy vibes. Menu looks great and there was a line. I want to say the banana milk matcha doesnt taste like banana at all... but the matcha flavor is good. Maybe I'll try the lattes next time

Did a quick drop by while in town for work and so glad I did! Ampersand is a magical coffee shop attached to a bar with great classic coffee offerings. Interior decor is well-designed, very vibey - great stop for day work. They also have plenty of seating so bring your friends! I'm always a little weary of ordering Matcha somewhere unfamiliar, but read shinning reviews about Ampersand's Matcha so I was feeling fairly confident. The barista answered my questions and helped me order what was probably one of the best Matchas I've ever had!! Hope to get the chance to come back someday.

My cousin took me here when I was visiting Texas and I FELL IN LOVE!! This spot reminds me a lot of the artisan coffee shops we have in California except dare I say, better? I really like the concept of being both a coffee shop and then at night a bar. I liked it so much I literally went here 3 times in the span of 48 hours and was really sad I could not make it to the DFW Airport one on my way home. The superstars here are definitely their shaken signature lattes which have just the right amount of thickness/foaminess that I look for in a latte. Most lattes are too thin/watered down or alternatively, so thick and decadent it becomes hard to drink. The shaken lattes at Ampersand really sit perfectly in the middle. My ranking: 1. Toasted Coconut 2. Butterbrew 3. RFME Toasted Coconut: Get this if you like hazelnut and nutty flavors. I usually don't like coconut but the TOASTED coconut flavor really enhances the nutty flavors in this latte making for a perfectly sweet drink. Butter Brew: Get this if you like butterscotch or Harry Potter butterbeer. This one is sweeter than Toasted coconut and is realllllly good if you have a sweet tooth. I love the vanilla cold foam! RFME: This one is good if you want more of the espresso taste. It's hazelnut centered but definitely less sweet than the other two. My husband got the banana milk matcha which was yummy but I just have a hard time comparing it to the shaken lattes which are just SPECTACULAR. The pastries are standard good size but since they're warmed up via microwave you lose the flakiness of a true croissant. I also got the chance to meet some of the owners and they are just super down to earth and nice people which really made me feel good about supporting a local small business that clearly is all about building and fostering community. I saw they have a running club and host events (people were picking up flower bouquets for Valentines Day!) for the community and I really do love that. If you are thinking about trying Ampersand out, here is your sign! Such a great business to support and honestly AMAZING COFFEE.

This is such an interesting space with wonderful drinks! I came in to this location because of my coffee passport. They have a great menu, lots of options. I got a vanilla shakerato. They didn't seem too busy for a Saturday but I did have to wait quite a while for my drink. The two girls behind bar were working hard though! There's a large patio, small bright area by the bar, and a moody back room for the bar later at night. Fun space for sure.

I got the oreo frappe and it was super good and not too sweet - you can def taste the coffee tho compared to other places sweet frappes (which is great because the subtle coffee in other places are boring lol) baristas were very nice and fast - nice little coffee shop front but spacious and fun seating in the back

Always nice to have coffee options in this area! Ampersand offers quality coffee and other drink choices. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating, great for meetups or work sessions. I got a Vietnamese iced coffee that came with 4 espresso shots! Definitely packed a punch, which was much needed. We recommend!

Tried out Ampersand with our Fort Worth Coffee Passports. The front coffee area is small and crowded. While the back bar area is very spacious and makes for an interesting speakeasy vibe while drinking your coffee. We really enjoyed our coffees- the snickerdoodle latte and cold brew with coconut cold foam. Parking is pretty minimal and it seems you have to pay in most of the spots.

Got the dirty chai late and it was amazing! I meant to post a photo but the first sip was so good I didn't even get the chance to! Baristas were nice and helpful on suggestion!

We asked for a 12oz latte in a mug and the mug couldn't been more that 8 ounces maybe even 6oz. The atmosphere was more bar than coffee shop. The coffee was average.

Very cool college vibe. Unfortunately, pretty limited seating inside on a weekday morning, understandably. Customer service wasn't as friendly as I was expecting based on reviews, but the seasonal latte was delicious!

Tried this place out with a friend and the London Cloud tea was delish. Not like other teas I've tried, but definitely a yummy choice. Lots of other interesting flavors on the menu I'd like to try too. Will definitely be returning.

i enjoyed this coffee spot! i ordered the honey latte half sweet. i wish that it had been a little more coffee tasting but the sweetness level was good and i liked that they used real honey. the seating was great and i loved the concept. service was fast even for a saturday morning!

Decided to stop to get coffee and saw the reviews and interesting drinks. The place is super cute. It was pretty packed when we arrived, but the workers were fast to get the orders and get our drinks filled. Good service. Now the drinks were pretty good. I got a vanilla lavender latte and really enjoyed it. I could taste the lavender but it wasn't overpowering, just the right amount. The other drinks I tried were the banana matcha, strawberry fields (not pictured) and the normal matcha latte. The matcha lattes tasted good! I was surprised since I prepare ceremonial matcha at home and the color is a bit off. It may just be sugary which adds to the taste. The banana matcha latte has the banana flavor stand out and the strawberry fields had a nice taste. Overall would recommend.

I've been to the run club a few times and the vibe is awesome but I had not tried their coffee yet. This weekend I was around so I took my wife for some coffee and it did not disappoint. The coffee was great and the place is really cool inside. The baristas work super fast (the line was to the door) and the drinks come out perfect. My wife had a Classic Match Latte and I had a Dirty Coconut Chai Latte and both were great.

I loved the strawberry soothe. My husband got the iced coffee, he said it was fantastic. Rich and flavorful. The service was ok. We got our drinks quick which was a bonus.

Had a matchadoodle to go and it was super yummy. I like snickerdoodle and I like matcha but I never really thought to put the two together. Not too sweet and not too bitter with a nice mix of cinnamon. The staff were super nice about helping me decide what to get. The cafe looked cute and cozy.

I stopped in this morning right when they opened. Parking is paid in front of the building and there is an additional lot diagonal from the shop. The barista was super friendly and walked me through the menu. I ordered a raspberry white chocolate mocha with oatmilk, half sweet. It was the perfect combination and so so good. I have friends that stop here literally every day for coffee and I can see why! Such a cute little spot with plenty ambiance for a solid instagram picture.

The best lavender lattes and iced Vietnamese coffee! The service here is always great and I highly recommend you get there early for the earl grey baked goods

The Vietnamese coffee just hits differently! Very collegiate ambience so I prefer to go. I prefer my coffee shops a lil quieter but i know this is not a typical one ;) Will continue to pick up the iced Vietnamese coffee (1/2 sweet).

We started our day with a snickerdoodle latte hot. This tastes just like the cookie! On our way out of town, I knew I needed another coffee to get home and was already craving another one.

The drinks are absolutely amazing!!!! It is close to the job so I can stop by and get some energy in the morning.

I wish I lived so much closer to this place, the atmosphere is very chill, the baristas are quick even when theirs a rush they work so well together to get everything out perfectly. The drinks are definitely handcrafted with the perfect balance and as you can see are aesthetically pleasing to look at. 100/10 recommend

Cool atmosphere, but the staff seemed really grumpy with us for some reason, and they gave us drip coffee that tasted like water.

Having some of the best reviews in Fort Worth, I really wanted to like this place. But unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. This isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a coffee shop by day and bar at night? The interior is dark and almost dingy looking. There were flies all around us as we sat for 10 minutes to enjoy our drinks. Because the coffee area doubles as a bar, the place was dimly lit. In good weather, the patio looked perfect. For the drinks, we ordered a hot latte and an iced Black Rose (activated charcoal with rose) with oat milk. The cashier was extremely friendly and answered all my questions about the drinks, and even offered to exchange my drink if I ended up not enjoying the Black Rose, which is one of their most popular drinks. Unfortunately for me, I was not a fan of the Black Rose. The rose tasted artificial and the coffee was dull. The cashier exchanged it with a hot honey latte, and I realized that I just was not a fan of the coffee beans they used. Overall, I tasted more milk than coffee in my drinks, which is disappointing. The logo is cool and the employees are all extremely friendly, but this is definitely not a coffee shop I would recommend.

I unfortunately didn't like it. I have wanted to try this place for a long time and I won't go back. And I really went out of my way to go here. There was a location on the TCU campus, but it seems to be permanently closed. I got a half sweet salt caramel latte iced. What I received was something similar to a Dutch bros mocha, which is not a compliment. A Dutch bros mocha is just a cup of chocolate milk. It was like drinking bland chocolate milk-since I got half sweet. I tasted 1% coffee. The whole reason I was there was because I had just worked a 10 hour shift and then had to go to grad school for another 4 hours and I needed something to get me through the rest of my day. This was not it. So disappointed. Also inside doesn't feel like a coffee shop. It feels more like a club without the loud music. It was deemed lighted and had a red hue. Usually people go to coffee shops to work or study. This wasn't doing it for me. You make like it though. Give it a try if you heard something you liked.

The coffee here was wonderful! I love a good iced coffee moment, no matter the weather outside. I got the butter brew latte, which is a caramelized butterscotch latte topped with our house vanilla cold foam and caramel drizzle. Despite me asking for half sweet, the drink was still a little too sweet, but it was delicious! I kept the drink with me all day, and it did not get too watered down. My friend got a chai latte, which actually had a strong flavor and did not taste watered down as they normally do at other places. Lastly, my friend got a vanilla latte, that was his go to. Despite the long line, the service was quick. I also liked the vibes, and would love to come back for the night life

Must stop for us in Fort Worth! One of my top fav coffee spots in Texas. They have delicious, unique latte options and super speedy service. Bonus- they are a bar at night!

When my sister told me she wanted to take me to her favorite coffee shop in Fort Worth, I was excited to see what the hype was about. Ampersand did not disappoint! Easily one of the best coffees I've had in awhile, with a cool coffee shop/bar vibe. I ordered the snickerdoodle, and it was so flavorful. We ended up sitting at the bar in the back room and enjoyed our coffees together. Next time I'm in Fort Worth, I will be back to enjoy the best coffee in town!
