Amphone Restaurant

I've been going to this Lao restaurant these last few weeks and I really recommend it : Beautiful place with a very well decorated indoor and a garden on the outside. The food is really nice and the service friendly, both managers talks a very good English. The prices are also very fair with good portions. I like the cutlery that they are using. There is saxo/piano music in the background. Amphone is situated near the Japanese Embassy just after Doi Ka Noi on the right. Overall one of the best Lao restaurant in Vientiane for me.

Very good food recommended by Lonely Planet. Very attentive manager who looks like a Singapore artist #LimKaySiu. Super clean ambience and washroom.

Excellent Lao food, seemed authentic too! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices are good for the quality of the food and similar to other places in the area, many of which rank below this one (in my book).

A local Laotian restaurant in Vientiane serving good Laos food. Nice decorations and ambiance

Unbelievable flavours and refined cuisine, possibly the best restaurant in Vientiane. They also catered to two vegans in our party and provided vegan versions of traditional Lao recipes.

Went there for lunch and fell in love with the place. Very beautiful outdoor space, nice decoration inside and delicious food. I took the papaya salad, and beef noodle soup. Also we got a desert with coconut milk, melon and something else which was super delicious, and I could have eaten 2 of them.

Excellent authentic Lao food in an elegant environment. All at very reasonable prices. Try the "good luck" Laab....I loved it!
