"Pour, Swirl, Sip Ampora Wine Tours exclusively focuses on high-end tasting tours and also hosts regular wine and food events in their own wine lounge. Most tours are full-day experiences with gourmet lunches at some of Mendoza’s finest wineries. Groups are kept small to ensure authentic, personalized experiences with private wine tastings of top-end wines. They also offer four-hour cooking classes led by famous winery chefs. An outstanding Wine Tour experience with Ampora Wine Tours. It's no wonder they are rated so highly and have a fantastic reputation. 5 Stars all the way thanks to all the staff; Carla, Estefanía, Oriana, and the great Tour Guide Sole. All the staff were extremely helpful with all our questions and provided expert guidance and information which allowed us to choose the best tour possible and resulted in an incredible day in the Uco Valley! They were very punctual and the Van was new and very comfortable. We visited 3 wineries which were all incredible and the lunch we had was delicious. - Bodega Atamisque SA - Bodega Familia Zaina - Domaine Bousquet (lunch at Gaia Experience) Overall it was a really magnificent experience and we can't thank Ampora enough. A must when visiting Mendoza.

Awesome tour with Ampora around Luján de Cuyo this week. Nicolas was a great guide and the driver was very good too. We sampled wines from 4 boutique wineries including a 6 course lunch with matching wines at our final destination. Easily the best food of our trip ♥️

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ampora! There are so many companies to choose from for wine tasting tours in Mendoza, and I'm so grateful we went with them. From my first inquiry I got a fast and friendly response with all the details from Estefanía, and then once we reserved, she stayed in contact with us (along with Carla, the GM) to provide the payment and pick-up information (always done with high level of professionalism and care). My wife and I did two days of wine tours with Ampora, and it’s hard to pick a favorite because they both exceeded all expectations! We first did the Luján de Cuyo Wine Tour, which is a longer drive from Mendoza and we visited three wineries: (1) Masi Tupungato, (2) Michieini i Muffato, and (3) Gaia, where we had an outstanding lunch. Hard to pick a favorite as all places had excellent wine and were cool venues, but if I had to, I would go with Michieini i Muffato, whose wine I dug slightly more and I enjoyed playing with their dogs (they also have a sister winery on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, which we walked in 2019). Next was the Uco Valley Wine Experience, and we got to experience four wineries: (1) Familia Cassone, (2) Foster Lorca, (3) Caelum, and (4) Montequieto, where we had another epic lunch at their Enlace restaurant. It had snowed the day before, so all around us when we drove were the snow-topped Andes providing a gorgeous backdrop to fine day of tasting incredible wines. Again, almost impossible to pick a favorite . . . but if I had to, I think I would go with Foster Lorca with the edge going to not enjoying their wine slightly more than the others, the tasting was also even more enjoyable and educational than the others (through the winery host and our guide Soledad). There is also a connection to the Camino de Santiago, which we loved (same as Michieini i Muffato, Maurico Lorca also has a sister winery along the Camino Frances, and they also have wines that feature labels referencing the Camino). On each day there was just one other couple with us in the van (who were all very nice), so these tours were highly personalized. For our guides we had Ezequiel on the Uco Valley Wine Experience and Soledad (already mentioned) on the Luján de Cuyo Wine Tour. Both are sommeliers and had a vast amount of wine knowledge of the region that they shared with us in a friendly and engaging way. We had the same driver both days, and while his name is escaping me, and was incredibly nice and navigated the van very safely and professionally. Whenever we make it back to Mendoza, I’ll be reaching out to Ampora to book more wine tasting tours. A huge thank you to the entire team there!

We truly enjoyed our Wine Tour with your company! Our guide Vicky is so welcoming and knowledgeable about wine and history of the region. We are also impressed by her engaging style while sharing information with us. Additionally, her English is flawless, and she also speaks Portuguese for people who want to practice that language. The wineries we visited were amazing and we appreciate the personalized attention we received, as well as the quality of the wines. The food was also superb!! Our driver was polite and helpful, thank you. We definitely recommend Ampora to people who want to enjoy Mendoza wines, and learn about the area and its wines.

We had such a fantastic time with this tour! It included some of the best tastings we have ever had, one of the best lunches, AND great information from our guide. It was a private/intimate experience with a bike ride through one vineyard followed by a 3 course lunch in the next vineyard. From trying grapes off of the stem to fresh pasta and as much information as you can soak in, this is definitely the tour for all to enjoy.

Wow what an experience! My wife and I visited Mendoza for the first leg of our South American honeymoon and we made the best decision to go with Ampora for our wine tour experience. We signed up for their private Deluxe Icon Wine Tour and this did not disappoint. We had a private driver and guide for the whole day. They picked us up from our hotel and took us to each place. It made the whole experience so easy! Silvana, our guide was phenomenal! We hit three incredible wineries where we got to learn about the history of the vineyard, the winemaking process and most importantly taste their very best wines. The day concluded with an unbelievable multi-course lunch at Bodega Lagarde. It was pure class. The team at Ampora was very helpful as well in assisting with buying wines at each vineyard we visited and helped handle all the shipping back to the states for us. If you are in Mendoza, I could not recommend Ampora enough for your wine tour experience. They helped make this day one of the highlights of our whole honeymoon!

Yelp
If you're visiting Mendoza and want to go on a wine tour than it is a MUST that you go with Ampora. They are professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my tour and met some amazing people. I visited 3 wineries on NYE and had the best lunch at the last one. They pick you up and even drop you off. The sprinter vans have fully a/c with complimentary water. Trust me they will pull out all the bells and whistles for you.

Yelp
Now, just having concluded our wonderful trip to Argentina, I've got a chance to write some reviews that have been awaiting. Mendoza was our first stop in the country and the Wine tour that Ampora took us on was an amazing way to start! First off our tour host, Belen, was absolutely terrific. She was Informative, knowledgeable, charming and funny - could not have asked for anyone better. Our group was in total 7 people which was ideal. This made our interactions with our guide and the bodega hosts more intimate. Our tour on a rainy Saturday was of the Uco Valley. It was a long drive out (90 minutes each way) there but it was a great way to see a different side of Argentina than just cities. The tour does start early (8:30) and takes all day (6:30 return). The tour van is very comfortable though. There were 3 vineyards (Bodegas) we visited along the way with the final stop also including a gourmet lunch. Bouquet, Solo Contigo and O'Fournier. All 3 bodegas were beautiful. The surprise was the quite modern design of each place. Beautiful. The wines were wonderful and captured the local terroir quite nicely. At the first two stops, the bodegas had set up a beautiful table for us to taste at. It made it so much better than bellying up to a bar. At the last stop, the gourmet lunch was flat out fantastic. 4 courses with a finale of Osso bucco that was fantastic. Finally, we got to tour the O'Fournier barrel room. It had, in years past, won architectural design awards. Once there you can see why. Truly a 5 star adventure!

Yelp
First rate operation. We did a private tour yesterday with another highly rated local company that was good but the group tour today for Christmas Eve with Ampora was spectacular. We visited 2 wineries and finished with a closed door outdoor wine lunch. It was an all day affair. There were 16 guests in 2 large touring vans and a couple of English speaking guides. Each location was already set up for us in the most fantastic outdoor settings for tastings. We felt like part of the winemakers family and the owner/operators treated us as such. We drank mostly the higher end wines and had more than enough wine throughout the day with multiple pours of some wines. The lunch was in a beautiful outdoor setting and paired with high end local wines. The guide was very informative throughout adding tidbits that even regular wine tourists would not know. These guys are first rate and should be your first choice for Mendoza wine tours.

Yelp
What a great experience! Sabrina was our guide, and Oscar was our driver, both of them were PHENOMENAL! My husband and I did the Uco Valley wine experience and we had an extraordinary time in this all-day tour! Highly recommend asking for Sabrina to be your tour guide!

Yelp
We did their four-winery day tour, and I couldn't recommend it more! Our guide, Sabrina, was knowledgeable and fun- although she's a full sommelier, she made the tasting accessible and easy to understand. The wineries we visited were great too- a mix between large (~30 million bottles per year) and tiny (30 thousand bottles per year). The meal at the end at VistAlba was stellar, too. The trip was worth more than the $170 USD we paid; I'd definitely go to Ampora Tours again the next time I'm in Mendoza!

Yelp
Visiting the closed door tasting was the highlight of our trip to South America! The empanadas were incredible, and I'm still craving the cheese one a month later. The two young ladies running the tasting were wonderful hosts. Thank you!
