Amross Motel

Barry and Donna run a great Motel. They are warm and inviting and extremely helpful. The rooms are always well presented and have all the amenities you need. In a great location walking distance from many great eateries. Thanks for looking after me on Business trips, Family holidays and romantic getaways guys.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, large and well equipped room. Very accessible for the city centre. Well located for sites of interest. On our short stay here we visited the botanical garden, the railway station and Baldwin street, all just a few minutes away. We would definitely recommend this motel and would happily stay here again.

We loved our 2 night stay here, it was very peaceful & relaxing. The room was a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. Barry was really helpful with directions and places to go. We will definitely be back.

We have never stayed in a better presented and organised hotel/motel room like this, ever!|You know how pretty much every hotel room you've visited over the years you've had to accommodate minor details and small failings. It could be missing hooks to hang a towel or cramped room sizes for two with luggage. But, we put up with them and still leave a good review.|Not here at Amross Motel. Our room was spacious, obviously recently refurbished, beautifully clean, and the best organised room I've ever set foot in. |Aside from a very comfortable, large bed, the kitchen area had everything you want, with easy clean stainless steel worktop and a very quiet washer/drier. All the drawers and cupboards were beautifully organised with quality crockery and cutlery. (See image of the utensil drawer!) 😁 It's just a small example of what to expect.|Someone clearly knows their stuff because the attention to detail and the maintenance of the shared areas were of such a high standard throughout the whole property. |We wished we stayed more than one night now!|

Surpassed expectations.|Great room with very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen and owners could not have been more helpful. Excellent daily servicing.|Super location for Botanic Gardens, Otago Museum and Centre. We did not need the car.

We stayed here 2 nights. Easy walk to many attractions. The room was spacious with a neat ensuite. Kitchenette had everything you would need . Hosts Barry and Donna were welcoming and accommodating. Great value- would highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Amross Motel for our stay in Dunedin. Barry and Donna were the perfect hosts from when we first arrived until the day we departed. Our room was spotlessly clean, tidy, well equipped and organised. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen exceptional…it was a shame to make creases in them. We would definitely recommend this Motel a city break in Dunedin.

Room was spacious and kitchen well equipped. Location was great with close proximity to the city and other places of interest. Donna and Barry (owners) were friendly and very welcoming, showed us attractions around Dunedin, places to dine and were there if we needed any help.
