We absolutely loved the tour. Karl is a fantastic tour guide and entertained us throughout our journey. We got unlucky with the weather but he made up for it. We enjoyed the history tales in the tour, the bus was comfortable as well for the short journey from the city. Strongly recommend!

From the moment we jumped onto the bus Karl had us all laughing, he was so informative and managed to make a day of learning about the Netherlands and its people not only educational but so much fun. This was a lovely tour of the Nevetherlands countryside. I loved seeing the windmills, a bucketlist item for me. The time here was nice, but too short. I would have enjoyed more background information about them and time to explore the inner workings of the mills. The neighborhoods we walked were beautiful and charming. The weather, although wet, was refreshing and an authentic taste of the country. The demonstrations of.cheese making and wooden shoes were great. Who can say no to delicious all-you-care-to-taste cheeses? Yum! The food was great and the service was prompt at De Lunch. Karl, the guide, was witty with his dad jokes and knowledgeable about the history of the area. All in all, a great way to spend the day learing about this fascinating place!

We took the Day Trip to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam and Marken from Amsterdam with Karl the guide. It was a wonderful tour filled with information and witty humor. Karl managed to keep everyone engaged at all times. Even our kid enjoyed the commentary and participated in some interactive games that Karl conducted. The walk around the towns was enjoyable.Our kid enjoyed the cheese and clog demonstrations. Highly recommend this tour for entire family who want a stress free, informative tour.

Great Day! Our tour leader, Karl, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot not only about the places we visited but also the history of The Netherlands. He was extremely personable and made the day interactive and fun. Our driver Rob was very competent and always welcomed us on the bus. I highly recommend this tour - and if you’re lucky, Karl will be your guide.
