Amsterdam Hotel Melrose Hotel

Location is great, walking distance to every where. Our room was in the basement and pretty small but good enough to just sleep. The advantage of being underground it was that was very quiet. I would add a few things in the room like extra hooks to hang towels and clothes. Extra face towels, they only provide one. A shelve inside of the shower to place your toiletries instead of on the floor and lastly, a stand to place our suitcases would be great instead of having to bend down. A fridge would be nice too, although there is one available in the lobby for comunal use. Other than that, everything was just fine. The best thing about the hotel was Mohamed from the front desk. We stayed there for a week and he was very friendly and informative. He would give us precious information about transportation and places to go and see. Very nice guy!

Super clean and quiet space close to all areas we wanted to see. Friendly staff who were very responsive and helpful. A bit small space in twin bed room though- would have liked a table or shelf to put toiletries. Would stay next time in Amsterdam!

Great location! Close to tram and bus stops, walkable to Centraal, and so much right on this street. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room could use a little work. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing located in the heart of Amsterdam it has everything you need from a little fridge, coffee machine and you can make tea. Also an elevator so it’s easy if you have heaps of luggage. Aircon was working perfectly definitely recommend!!

Nice and clean room, although it was really small. If you need only a place to sleep, I’ll recommend this. Remember to bring cash for the vending machine if you need to buy water or snack or use the |Supermarket just on the opposite side of the street

I recently stayed at Melrose Hotel and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The location is simply unbeatable just a short walk from major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It made exploring the city so convenient. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering stunning views of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights after busy days of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations or any requests I had. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city center. I can’t wait to return

Toilet and shower not private. I don’t want to see my partner using the toilet and if someone uses the toilet, you can hear it, see it and smell it. The rooms are tiny and the fact an alarm goes off everytime you close the door is irritating. This hotel is not worth the price tag. The only reason it got 2 stars is the location.

We had a 3 night stay at Melrose and really couldn’t fault it. Very clean - shout out to the cleaning staff as it always felt clean and cared for throughout the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bed was amazing. Bathroom took some getting used to but really no issue for us. Great location - nice clean neighborhood with great food options and supermarkets close by. If you are a bit claustrophobic I would suggest requesting an upper level room and be aware that the noise from other rooms can be an issue.
