Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort Aruba

This is the first time I have ever left a review for anything, but I thought it warrented. We stayed here several yeas ago and enjoyed our stay. Since that time we went to Playa Del Carmen a couple of times, Wilmington n.c., the east coast of Florida and Carolla N.C. A couple of months ago we decided we needed to get away and we thought fondly of the Amsterdam so we booked a trip. As soon as we got to the hotel we instantly relaxed, the welcoming staff was great, the room was fantastic and the grounds were pristine. During our stay all of the staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable and the grounds were always well kept. We went to Passions several times for breakfast as well as dinner our last night...great! Horizons for dinner our first night, very good! The access to the beach, and the beach itself are unbeatable, just a 1 minute walk literally. My wife and I have decided that this will be our go-to place, we cant wait to get back to the Amsterdam and are already looking at dates for next year.......I highly recommend to anybody who needs a relaxing place to be with well appointed rooms, top notch staff and perfect setting right across from the best beach in Aruba. And by the way, the grocery store is a short walk, we ended up doing a shrimp boil one night and brazilian beef filets another night, the rooms kitchen had everything I needed to make great meals. All in all just a fantastic time......thank you to everyone at the Ansterdam!

We booked the 2 bedroom/ 2 bath penthouse unit for four nights. We stayed with our adult daughter and had a fantastic experience! The room was spotless and spacious! We had a private patio with an umbrella, table and chairs and a lounge chairs. The view of the ocean and sunset is not to be beat! ||Priced very well. It was a perfect place to stay for our Aruba vacation. Great pool area and just across the street from the ocean. We had no problems finding palapas or umbrellas each day beach side. ||We will definitely stay here again in future visits to Aruba!

The reception staff were very kind and helpful – definitely 5 stars. The restaurant was good and the food was tasty. However, my experience with the breakfast service was mixed. Out of the three breakfasts we had, the first two were disappointing — we waited more than 50 minutes, and the service was not very friendly. The third time was completely different: the staff were extremely kind, and the experience was much better. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the first two mornings. Apart from the breakfast service, we were extremely satisfied with everything else. I highly recommend this hotel.🔆

My wife and my daughter stayed at Amsterdam Manor for a week in November and we were very impressed with the quality of the management, the employees and everyone we interacted with. This boutique hotel resort has been fully renovated and is beautiful. Great renovation, comfortable rooms, vey appealing design and great functionality. Great location at proximity to the beach and their restaurant on the beach was fantastic.

We enjoyed our 10 days at Amsterdam Manor. It was much better than I was expecting. Some people online complained about a sewage smell, but I can tell you, never once did I smell anything bad. It has a convenient location, walked across the street to the beautiful beach. Umbrella hut and chairs were free for anyone staying at their resort. Everything was well maintained and well supplied with towels and all kitchen supplies. We felt safe walking to restaurants and the resort itself has security. They have 2 restaurants on property, we preferred Horizon's but Passion's was good also and always packed. We're already planning on going back to this resort next year.

My husband and I were traveling with our adult daughter and stayed in the Two bedroom penthouse suite. What an amazing space! We had our own private balcony with a table and chairs as well as lounge chairs that overlooked the beach. We were able to catch amazing sunsets from our own patio. Both bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Lots of closet space. Sitting area with couch, chair, and television, dining area and kitchen! We did not do much cooking there, but certainly could have as they provided all the basics in the kitchen. Dishwasher included. The pool area was great. Quiet most days, as the majority of the guests were at the beach. The beach was directly across the street and could not have been easier! Plenty of Palapas and umbrellas each day. We never struggled to find a place to sit at the waters edge- Unlike many larger resorts that we’ve been to. But one of the most wonderful parts of our stay that made this resort, feel incredibly comfortable was the staff at the hotel. When we arrived, we met Jessica who greeted us within an incredible warm smile and friendly Face. She made us feel welcome each and every time we walked into the front desk area. Provided anything we needed, including sunscreen From their little store area and extra coffee for our room. She is a light in the office there! That being said- all of the staff at the hotel proper were fabulous!

Love this hotel!! We got a free room upgrade, and the 1 bedroom suite is amazing and right near the pool and restaurant. The vibe is perfect, not too crowded, away from the casinos, and more on the boutique side. Very clean, comphy and convenient. Staff is very nice, and the beach, with chairs and umbrellas, is a 2 minute walk across the street. Would definitely recommend!!

Just got back from a glorious week in the paradise that is Amsterdam Manor. I fell in love with Aruba forty years ago and its beaches AND THE PEOPLE are the reasons. That hasn’t changed. Although I’ve stayed so many places in many categories, I found my very favorite in the Amsterdam Manor. It’s not opulent, pretentious or sprawling but rather, warm, welcoming and lovely. The location is prime and the staff, perfection. Rooms are newly renovated and comfortable and spacious. I found the bed too firm and they placed a feather bed topper on it. Problem solved. Our room was too warm during the night and staff continued to address it until it was remedied. Beautiful people who cared for us and made sure that we had an amazing stay. We wanted for nothing. I love you Amsterdam Manor and all of the special people who make it happen. Can’t wait to go back!
