We came here for the sunset dinner. It was fantastic. We had a mixed vegan meat crowd and they had great options both. Food staff and atmosphere was wonderful. However I will mention that there is a pungent smell of fecal matter in the area. If you can get passed that definitely worth it.

Our stay at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to help my fiancé coordinate the most perfect engagement. A very special thank you to Valery, the event coordinator, who was absolutely exceptional — thoughtful, organized, and truly invested in making sure every detail was flawless. She made the entire process seamless and stress-free, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. We also want to recognize Jennifer at the front desk, who was just as incredible. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. After the engagement, the team made our experience even more special with champagne and the sweetest handwritten letters that we will cherish forever. Beyond the engagement, the hotel itself is stunning, the location on Eagle Beach is unbeatable, and the service is outstanding. You can truly feel how much the staff cares about creating meaningful, unforgettable experiences for their guests. Amsterdam Manor will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend it enough, especially if you’re celebrating something truly special. We really enjoyed our stay at Amsterdam Manor! The staff, including at Passions on the Beach, are super friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is excellent with easy access to pretty much everything, including the Super Foods store and the beach right across the street. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back again soon for sure!

We spent 5 days during Christmas at this resort on Eagle Beach. While we chose this because it was available on points through Chase Sapphire Rewards, I wouldn't mind staying here again! This is a low-rise hotel with what appeared to be different styles of rooms. I say this because while our room had a king bed and kitchenette with a small 2-burner stove, microwave, fridge, sink, and coffee maker, I walked past some rooms that had dining tables and couches. The room was very clean, bathroom was updated, and service staff was good. There is easy access to the beach just across the street with palapas and umbrellas with chairs on a first-come, first-serve basis. This was great and the beach was beautiful. Our only problem was that the restaurant there, Passions, would begin setting up for their popular "dinners on the beach" around 4pm right in front of our beach chairs while we were in them! We ended up complaining to the manager at the front desk who appreciated our feedback. We chose chairs away from the restaurant the following days. There is no drink or food service at the beach chairs if you are looking for that experience. I wasn't a big deal for us, but when we walked up to Passions, there was limited staff which resulted in slow service. That said, the beach is beautiful and bathrooms are conveniently available on the beach. We did not use the pool but I would say it's on the smaller side as compared to some of the other hotels. We really liked the location as it was a 20 minute walk to the Manchebo Beach Resort where I enjoyed drop-in yoga and a 35 minute walk (or $11-$13 cab ride) to the busy Palm Beach Area with all the restaurants and nightlife. Overall, if you are looking for a nice place with good beach access and a casual, quieter vibe, you'd enjoy this hotel!

The resort and location are excellent. I stayed in a beautiful "superior studio" that was very well equipped. The management (Juan Carlos and Clinton Maduro) and staff (both at the front desk & restaurants and the cleaning staff) were consistently welcoming and provided excellent service. The beach attendants' (including Kimberlyn, Charlotte, Dwayne, Ronnie, Samuel & others) service was awesome! It was such a perfect relaxing vacation!

We loved this hotel. Everything about it is just perfect: location, rooms, staff. Very clean rooms and property. U can see it has been renovated, swimming pool, just the whole area - beautiful , of course my favorite place was the balcony. We watched sunset from it. The hotel is right on a beach, they provide with towels, umbrellas and sun beds. U might wanna get there early though, especially on a weekends or just popular season. Supermarket is like 10 minutes walk. I hope we can come back, we had a great time.

Had an amazing stay in a Superior Studio - had an ocean view from the 2nd level which was a lovely surprise! Room was perfect and service was nice. Loved being able to leave my room, walk across the street and be at the ocean in a minute. Did not experience the smell issue.

This is the first time I have ever left a review for anything, but I thought it warrented. We stayed here several yeas ago and enjoyed our stay. Since that time we went to Playa Del Carmen a couple of times, Wilmington n.c., the east coast of Florida and Carolla N.C. A couple of months ago we decided we needed to get away and we thought fondly of the Amsterdam so we booked a trip. As soon as we got to the hotel we instantly relaxed, the welcoming staff was great, the room was fantastic and the grounds were pristine. During our stay all of the staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable and the grounds were always well kept. We went to Passions several times for breakfast as well as dinner our last night...great! Horizons for dinner our first night, very good! The access to the beach, and the beach itself are unbeatable, just a 1 minute walk literally. My wife and I have decided that this will be our go-to place, we cant wait to get back to the Amsterdam and are already looking at dates for next year.......I highly recommend to anybody who needs a relaxing place to be with well appointed rooms, top notch staff and perfect setting right across from the best beach in Aruba. And by the way, the grocery store is a short walk, we ended up doing a shrimp boil one night and brazilian beef filets another night, the rooms kitchen had everything I needed to make great meals. All in all just a fantastic time......thank you to everyone at the Ansterdam!
