I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amuz Gourmet, a renowned fine dining French restaurant in Jakarta. I opted for their exquisite five-course dinner set, which included an amuse-bouche, a starter, two mains, and a dessert.
From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the upscale ambiance. The luxurious interior design, featuring elegant furniture and sparkling crystal, exuded sophistication. The attentive staff were always visible and ready to cater to our needs.
The experience began with an amuse-bouche, a delightful creation by the chef that combined salmon with a unique cookie base. For the starter, we tried both options: the burrata and the yellowfin carpaccio tart. While both were excellent, I particularly enjoyed the burrata.
For the mains, we indulged in freshly shaved black truffle over angel hair pasta in a light truffle cream sauce. The chef shaved the truffle right at our table, creating a memorable spectacle. We also savored the grilled Japanese Wagyu A4 sirloin and the barramundi amandine. The portions were surprisingly generous, leaving us quite satisfied.
For dessert, we enjoyed a rich Valrhona chocolate mousse and an Irish shortcake with raspberry mousse. Both were exceptional, providing a sweet and satisfying end to our meal.
Overall, our dining experience at Amuz Gourmet was truly special and luxurious. The quiet, elegant atmosphere made it the perfect setting for a memorable evening. I highly recommend it for any special occasion.
