Cute, creative, and super quirky little ice cream spot at The Quarry(left of Nordstrom Rack). The ice cream is legit creamy and fun. The mixes they have are so much fun and interesting. A definite conversation starter. Must try!! The gals here are so much fun.

Of course I recommend Amy’s! This is an awesome specialty ice cream shop that has a variety of flavors and toppings. The staff is really friendly and laid-back. This location is family friendly. I love the outdoor seating but the inside is also spacious enough if you prefer that. My favorite flavor is Mexican Vanilla and Sweet Cream. If you register for their newsletter, you get free ice cream on your birthday ;-)

Our second time at Amy’s Ice Cream and it was such a fun experience! We were out with friends and needed something sweet to lift our spirits. The staff makes it entertaining by tossing ice cream in the air and catching it. Our kids loved watching that! We tried the “Batter Up” flavor and if you’re a fan of vanilla it’s a must-try! Perfectly rich and delicious. It’s a great stop if you’re looking to treat yourself and there’s even a Nordstrom Rack next door so you can sneak in a quick shopping trip while the kids and husbands enjoy dessert. There’s also a train next to it that makes for a cute photo spot. Prices are a bit high (almost $7 for a cup) but it’s a unique experience worth trying!

Amy’s is the best ice cream. Not only is the ice cream great but you can get fruit or candy smashed into it. Definitely give it a try. This is their only location in San Antonio.

I love this location so much!!!!! The staff are always extremely friendly and bubbly. I always like to tell them to surprise me so I can enjoy their creativity. This was the fruit punch sorbet, marshmallows, gummy bears and fruity pebbles. The flavors and textures balanced each other out perfectly for me. Can't wait to go back again ❤️.

I love Amy’s! I’ve been coming to this ice cream shop since I was a kid, and it never disappoints! The shop is funky, and the ice cream is great. They offer traditional flavors as well as some new creations, as well as milkshakes and ice cream cake among other frosty treats. Highly recommend.

Awesome ice cream shop with friendly, helpful and talented staff. They have a huge selection and even vegan ice cream which is great. One of the employees entertained us with tossing up the ice cream and catching in the cup. I caught it on video-see below. Very impressive! I can tell he has been practicing his art. It is wonderful to see employees enjoying their job by making it fun and entertaining the customers! Well done!! Give them a try. We will be back!

My son Champ says its the best ice cream place! Its really good. Great variety of choices but pretty much all taste good. Customer service is great, staff always in a good mood and looks like they enjoy their work. Place is clean and well maintained. Right next to various stores. Family can go shopping while you enjoy an ice cream! Recommended.

Amy's is the best ice cream! Their Mexican Vanilla is my absolute favorite--so rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I also love that they offer a huge variety of fun toppings you can mix in to customize your treat just the way you like it. Whether you're craving something classic or want to get creative, there's something for everyone. I only wish we had Amy's in Dallas--I'd be there all the time!

Ok so I do love this place. Happen to be in the Quarry area three days in a row and three days in a row I visited Amy's. Quite embarrassed to say it but there it is. My absolute favorite is the malt milkshake with Mexican Vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmmmmm:))))))))) The environment is super fun. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They make it entertaining, not just taking your order. We can't wait to go back

I am picky about sweets for reasons, but this was so good! The local is rocking & the decor is super-cute! They were playing The Police, adding to the already awesome vibes! Jeff helped us sample a few really yummy flavors, including Cranberry Whiskey Sour, which was impressive! We decided on the TX Dirtcake as a shake, & it was perfection. Thank you, Jeff! Great service & amazing ice cream! Highly recommended!

24 Aug 2024 We wanted ice cream. First choice was Chick-Fil-A, but NS mall was way crowded. Amy's in the Quarry is on the way home. Amy's also looked crowded, but we went in anyway. As it turned out, everyone had been served and the counter was empty. I saw at least three employees. Good staffing. I ordered a small butterscotch sundae and the husband got two scoops of strawberry in a cup. Kind of expensive at $18. The ice cream is tasty, though. Kind of cool... the person scooping my husband's ice cream tossed the first scoop in the air and caught it in the cup. Yea! They have ice water with in a clear jug with cups by the exit door. Nice on these miserably hot days. So other than the prices, this is a great place. Would we go again? Sure.

If I'm getting ice cream it better be from here. My favorite place to get ice cream I don't even care that it's a chain because it's still so good and cute.

Best ice cream in the world. I would give anything to have one in the NW side at the Rim, but then I would go every day. This way I get a treat every time I am nearby the one here and in Austin.

If you are out in the quarry this is a good place for a creamy treat. It's a fun place to have a scoop or two. A good variety of flavors. The staff is always helpful. It has a happy and fun atmosphere. A great place to take the kids or have a cheat day for yourself.

Jelli was amazing and extremely helpful, the ice cream is superb and the place is spotless and clean This place made me want to stay because of the ambience and the service was awesome

I first tried Amy's in Austin and I was so pleasantly surprised and excited to see and visit this location while shopping in SATX! They have unique flavors yet somehow I usually stick to my usual (cookies & cream) :) I enjoyed it so much! It was loaded with cookies and their tiny scoop is the perfect portion! Service was wonderful and ambiance is very lively! Very colorful and fun design of the shop! Highly recommend!

I brought my 2 little brothers & the ice cream was delicious! The servers were also friendly & fast during a rush of people. The oldest of the 2 got a Cookie Monster mix, the younger got a vanilla scoop with his weird custom mix of toppings & I got classic mint chocolate drooling just typing about it lol - think of this place like homemade ice cream meets marble slab we will be going back the next time I'm in town!

Ice cream is ice cream, but Amy's did add a fun twist to the experience! I ordered a simple cream flavor with rainbow sprinkles and fresh strawberries. At nearly $8, it was a bit pricey for a basic order, but the overall vibe made up for it. The customer service was great - the team really went out of their way to make the experience fun, flipping spoons and tossing balls of ice cream into cups with flair. One drawback was not being able to see the ice cream flavors upfront; they're only listed on the board, which is tough for someone like me who likes to "eat with their eyes" first. Fortunately, my server was super patient and let me sample a few options before deciding. Overall, the quality of the service and the playful atmosphere make Amy's a fun stop, even if I'd like a better look at my options! Will I return? Probably not.

Grew up coming to this ice cream shop. They also have fun flavors, and the workers are very nice! We got the small oreo to share and it was more than enough! It was pretty pricy though- a little over $6. My friend got the vegan vanilla, but it had a weird aftertaste. There is a lot of indoor seating, and the decorations are fun! The music is not too loud either.

I am a huge fan of Amy's Ice Cream from my days in Austin and was super excited to discover this location in SA. While the quality of the ice cream is perpetually good my quibble concerns the condition of the restaurant itself. The place seems a little rundown as if it needs a update on paint, decor, etc. The bathroom was filthy. So, points off for not keeping the business in good order. I still love Amy's...but I'll lower my expectations next time.

The ice cream was great and very tasty. The server we got was name Chris and he was very friendly. The tricks that he did were awesome especially when he did a behind the back. The whole vibe was great and would recommend coming here.

Amy's consistently delivers. Their flavors are always bursting from the seams and the staff are so friendly. My little one loves how they throw the scoop up in the air and catch it. They have 3 sizes for scoops and the tiny will get you where you need to be. Generous scoops, but just know each topping is sold separately. Granted we came towards the end of the day so they were out of some flavors and toppings, but what they did have was delicious. The Belgian chocolate and dark chocolate was divine. The place was clean and festive for the holidays. Can't wait to be back to try more fun flavors.

Excellent service and delectable choices! Try the sweet cream ice cream and the dark chocolate ice cream sundae with hot fudge, whipped cream and walnuts! Very busy, but they get you through the line quickly!

So we went here on a weekday night. It was surprisingly packed for it being about 9 o clock at night. The cashiers/scoopers were friendly and I liked that if you answered their trick correctly you win a free topping. They also have lots of indoor/outdoor seating and they played pop music. Unfortunately I feel like their prices are ridiculously high. For two people it came out to around $21 just for waffle cones with one scoop each and toppings. Better off going to get fro-yo instead.

Popular Austin-based ice cream here in town! The ice cream is very cream and sweet and the portions are worth the price. I like the funky environment and flavors here. It's a little "dirty" inside, sticky tables. But the people working were fun and attentive! Come for a quick dessert :) the minis are the PERFECT size, and we still did not finish.

Amy's Ice Cream was a delightful surprise on a warm San Antonio day! They have classic and unique ice cream flavors, including some that are infused with alcohol. I got a mix of dark chocolate and mint Oreo. The employee asked if I wanted the scoops side by side or mixed. I lived that there was that option! I chose mixed and he made it in a similar fashion that places like Cold Stone Creamery do. After he was done mixing the ice cream together, he tossed it way up into the air and caught it in the bowl! So fun! The employees seemed happy and were very friendly. The store itself looks so 90s. The colors and fonts used in the logo and on the walls reminded me a lot of my childhood. It was a fun throwback, whether that was intentional or not. The only drawback to Amy's is that the prices are a bit more than I'm used to at an ice cream store. A small cup was over $6! That didn't include adding any toppings, which would have been $1.25 more. Delicious ice cream!! Great staff!! Not the greatest prices.

We absolutely love Amy's ice cream! We drive all the way across San Antonio just to come here, it's hands down best ice cream around. I get the coffee ice cream and my fiancé gets the Elvis. They have so many different unique flavors and mix ins available, you can really invent your own creation. I like that they have a menu of their own sundaes as well as their premixed creation ideas, but you can customize those, as well. They also offer cakes you can take home, and a "piece of cake in a cup". We have yet to try the cakes, but we love that we could buy a piece of cake in a cup to try it before buying the whole cake! The employees are always really kind and one of the gentlemen even adds a little flair to the process by tossing the ice cream really high in the air then catching it in your cup or cone.

Another good Ice cream shop here in the city. We also stopped here for some ice cream, and it was delicious. Nice place, and we got some of the old Skool ice creams I like as a kid. We enjoyed it and our atmosphere. NIce people working here. Nice little looking family spot here. I'd love to visit again.

Mark was so sweet!! You really gotta take care of good employees. We got the popcorn flavored ice cream and it was amazing. Very rich and creamy but not too sweet

I've always been a fan of Amy's Ice Cream after visiting the location in Austin years ago. This location is located in the Alamo Quarry so it's in a high-traffic location. There's always a line at this location but it's worth the wait. What I love about Amy's is they have a variety of flavors & are always rotating new, peculiar flavors and several toppings. The staff was always friendly and seemed energetic when helping me each time. The only issue I've had when I frequented this particular location is the waffle cones. The three times I opted for the waffle cones it tasted stale. Not sure what kinda quality control is being carried out but it could improve. Next time I'll go a different route & choose a cup.

I came here after watching the Spy Family Code White movie with my boyfriend and the ice cream hit the spot. I asked for strawberry with chocolate sprinkles and i was so amazed at just how pretty my cone looked!! The service was great, the worker did a few tricks for us (very impressive lol) and he was so kind and explained the menu to us. The ambiance was also very nice. In the first two pictures attached, you see my ice cream from after the movie - I sat outside and it was nice, windy and cloudy. The outside seating was very put together and it was just, ahhhh perfect :). The last picture is from a couple months ago when I first noticed this place!! I loved the colors and the logo of the ice cream shop lol. Definitely recommend :)

Finally stopped by Amy's after having many reviews to do so. This may be one of our new go to ice cream spots. I got the Batter Up on a cake cone with sprinkles and my partner got the Oreo. Both were very creamy and delicious. The workers were happy to explain the different flavors and options of mix ins to us. The shop as a whole was also very clean and fun with lots of color on the walls.

One thing I loved is that the staff were very personable and outgoing. The ice cream is very light and not super heavy.

Mark and Abbas need raises like YESTERDAY!!!!! probably the best customer service i've ever received. they're amazing and so nice. they made our night tonight, showing us tricks with the ice cream, and not making us feel like a burden for not knowing what we want. they just worked with us and made us unique ice cream. WHICH IS AMAZING BY THE WAY!! love mark and Abbas!!!

Excellent service. Ice cream man catches the scoops in the cup after tossing it high in the air! Very friendly. Creative choices with lots of toppings. Great for a break from shopping in the Alamo Quarry.

The gelato was crystallized and not good, threw it away. Would not recommend. Flavor was ok, but not smooth like it should be.

Best ice cream in town fo sho and great friendly service. Waffle cone with Belgium chocolate with pecans and peanut butter cup pieces is a must try.

Love this place. The scoopers are so nice and always accommodating. The ice cream is always great and I love how the flavors are always changing. I like the store itself as well. The merchandise display is very cute and well put together.

Amazing throw of the icecream that was tossed and provided! Banana split was heavenly as should be. The combination was really out of the world as would justify the taste of a foodie!

I've been Chasing Amy's for a long time, just like Affleck did, and I finally found her... she's in San Antonio! Well she's also in Houston. Wow Amy gets around. I'm happy for Amy's Ice Cream even though I thought they were good but not great when I had them in Houston - which is where they are from. Yes I had Amy in Houston and now I had her in San Antonio. What about it. Now they have opened up here at the Quarry Market - which is a spectacular shopping centre. After browsing through the awesome high end stores, and enjoying the gorgeous visuals of this centre, you can get some ice cream. Not the best you'll ever have but San Antonio doesn't have a lot of good ice cream - so Amy's should fit right in.

Amy's was great tonight via Door Dash. They provided my toppings in little containers. I had a terrible experience last night with Marble Slab on Broadway (which was garbage) and tried Amy's tonight to get my ice cream fix. The flavors were delicious and the packaging good. Amy's is the way to go for delivery during Covid19!!!!

ice cream was great! definitely perfect for a small treat. i tried the cajete- which is carmalized goats milk ice cream, and topped it with chocolate sprinkles. it's definitely a hot spot too! there were a decent amount of customers.

Very basic ice cream. My issue with this place is about a 3x markup on basic ice cream. A small milkshake is almost $10. For a family of four, you're talking nearly $50. It was also plastered full of BLM stuff, hot, slow, and no seating.

Very expensive ice cream! My dark chocolate had a gluey texture that I found repulsive. I won't go back.

This was my first time at Amy's Ice cream in San Antonio. I've been to the one in Austin before and I remember it to be delicious, and I was left with a good impression. I got the butter pecan single scoop with chocolate chip cookie dough crush'n (which is a topping they crush-mix into the ice cream). It was really delicious, although it was really really sweet. My friend got their Shiner ice cream scoop with pecan praline and it was so delicious. I would get that next time I come. Overall large portions and quality icecream. All of the servers are super friendly. I would come back again if I was at the Quarry and craving some ice cream!

Tried them for the first time and it was extremely good. I had the Mexican vanilla and it did not disappoint. It was perfect. The parlor is nice, cozy and has a good old fashion family hangout feeling to it. The staff members are super nice and entertaining as they flip the ice cream up in the air and into a bowel. I have been to ice cream parlors were the facility feels sticky but this one did not which is fantastic. I would stop i here anytime and enjoy other flavors they offer.

The reviews are great here so I was excited to try it. I was disappointed. I'm guessing it was just my timing? the ice cream was full of ice chunks like they had scraped the ice off the sides and jammed it in my cup. the bathroom is about 20 years past remodel time and was quite dirty.

The ice cream was on the melted side. Shake included. Definitely over priced. I should have just stuck with Cold Stone! The bathrooms were horrible. I've been to gas stations that were cleaner. Needless to say, won't be going back. Solid pass. This was our second time there. Was good the first time. I guess they've just let themselves go. ‍

Yummy flavors and very nice staff. Sampling is off the table for now due to covid, but staff was very helpful in describing various flavors. Good covid protocols, and a table outside to sit at.
