Amy's Omelette House - Long Branch

This is the cutest place. Music was 80-90's all bangers. Aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Booths were large and movable to be fitting. We had a server named Beck. He was hospitable and personable. We were NOT ready for the menu.. that thing is 7&8 pages of pure decadence. I recommend this place 10/10. Food was ROCKIN'. As far as I am concerned I've found my early am bfast spot before the beach!!!

Beware of misrepresentation of food menu items and price gouging. Went there with 5 of my local lady friends proudly wearing my black Amy’s “Hangry” novelty tee I previously purchased there during one of our many dining experiences eating there. We had always had a positive experience at Amy’s; however today was disappointing and very disheartening. I ordered a small combo breakfast entree and side item of Fruit and Yogurt listed as a Side item on their menu for $1.99. I purposely pointed out the item on the menu and verbalized it to our waiter, Beckit. I confirmed the menu prices the side item at the time of my order with Beckit. The menu stated 1.99 for the side and when my bill came to pay I was charged $7.95. When I questioned Beckit he told me he was unable to adjust due to computer software that would not allow him to make adjustment and all items are preprogrammed on their computer. The place was very crowded and I politely and respectfully removed myself and went to the entrance to Speak with the Assistant General Manager on duty working the cash register. I politely discussed the discrepancy being overcharged prior to me paying my bill. The AGM asserted that the side item listed was for other entrees and not breakfast entrees. She asserted I was given a meal portion of Fruit and Yogurt and was charged appropriately. However, she was unable to show me this item/charge on their multi page menu.. I politely asked her to show me the item on the menu I was being charged. She stated that it is impossible to list all their items available on their menus. I politely paid for my bill and casually mentioned that I felt it was a misrepresentation item on their menu and the waiter knew in advance taking my order exactly what Fruit and Yogurt side I was requesting . I returned back to the dining area after paying my bill to meet up with my lady friends. Unknowingly the AGM followed me to my table and became very confrontational, combative and started To share our discussion with my lady friends who were not involved. One of My lady friends politely told her during her enrage episode to please not to get them Involved and this issue was between her and I and not them. At this time there was an audience of customers focused at our table due to the volatile behavior of AGM. I told here she was making scene and being very confrontational with me. We had already discussed our issue in private at the entrance. She told me to leave immediately and never come back again. I immediately left feeling embarrassed and confused with aggressive behavior. She followed me out the door continuing to yell at me. I will never go back again and refuse to continue advertising your business by wearing the Amy’s novelty tee shirt I previously purchased. I truly feel that AGM could had made amends and avoided this unpleasant scene by making the adjustment on the side item for the misunderstanding OR been more professional and courteous by allowing me to leave appropriately after paying my tab when I approached her privately at the register in the entrance way. Farewell Amy. Sadly….

I stopped in for breakfast this past weekend, and I think I found my breakfast spot to go to next summer before I head off to the beach. This place is super cute inside, and their menu is huge. There are so many great choices that it is so hard to decide on what to get. Desiree was my server, and she was so friendly and attentive. I even trusted her on some recommendations. I opted for one of the more popular items, which is the Florence Omelette, and it was really good. The portions are huge for the price. The only issue and it is a standard issue with most places is that the home fries need a little more flavor in lieu of salt. The coffee here is good too and is served in a very large mug. The restaurant is very clean and they have plenty of free parking in the front. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast take out, (pork roll and egg on a hard roll) and it came with home fries or French fries. Some places, I need to ask for double pork roll, but since this was my first time here, I took a chance and was not disappointed! Hardy sandwich! Satisfying. I recommend!

First time here. The restaurant is very nice and super clean located in a small strip mall. Had the Soho steak and spinach omelette, which was very good. Spinach and steak were actually chopped into omelette fashion not just folded in the middle like some places. The toast was perfectly toasted, it’s the little things. Service and ambience were very good as well. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. 🇺🇸

A good little diner if you’re in Long Branch! I wouldn’t say it was anything super special but they do a classic breakfast well. The staff was very nice. If I was ever in NJ again and needed a quick easy breakfast place, I would go here!

It is a lovely dinner, with your typical gigantic menu full of options. The ambience is really beautiful and clean, and everything I tried there is nice and fresh. I've been a couple of times, they never disappoint. They have a small board with specials near the entrance; in general I order from there because the menu is just overwhelming. Service is nice; everyone is friendly and attentive. It is not the fastest but that is likely because they cook fresh, so I don't mind. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. The reasons why I am not giving 5 stars are: - They should find a way to organize the menu better. It is so long and hard to find what you want. - Food is good but a little underseasoned. I add salt, pepper and hot sauce and it turns out perfect. But that is a staple in this Jersey area, even in Mexican places, so... I guess they cater to the public.

We always eat at this location whenever we visit Seven President Beach. We have tried all three locations and I think this location is the best. Food is great with lots of choices on the menu for everybody. Service is excellent, the waiter was so nice and accomodate everything we asked for. We always ask for easy on the salt on our order, since we're on less salt diet and they made it happen for us. Portion is also good for the value. They just updated their interior, it's now bright, airy and cheery blueish restaurant, love it!

This was our first time checking out Amy's and with the great reviews it already had, it did not disappoint! We got there just in time before the place got pretty filled. We were seated pretty quick and got greeted by our server on a timely manner, despite the rush. The place was very bright and lit up and very family oriented. We ordered Nashville Skillet, Broccoli & Cheddar omelet, and blueberry crumble pancakes. Everything was delicious! They have a pretty decent size serving so we had some to go to take with us. Definitely would add this place as a go to breakfast spot and would surely check them out again or even try out their lunch menu.

Pretty popular and packed diner, just a couple minutes drive from the shore. Inside had a modern but classic diner vibe with booth seating. Only one waitress for our table and it was hard to flag her down but it was a pretty busy morning. - Traveler Omelette: 2/5, grilled chicken, artichoke, basil pesto with a side of home fries. Omelette was dry and needed to put a lot of hot sauce to make up for the flavor - Super skillet: 3/5, pork roll, sausage, ham, peppers, cheddar with sunny side up eggs and potatoes. Ambiance was nice but food was a bit lacking in taste

I've been coming here for years. But this was the first time in a while since they renovated the place. It's so bright & vibrant. The food is great. I like the additions to the menu such as mini combos and light bites. Great portions for a great price. The staff is friendly also.

I been back a few more times no matter what you buy it's excellent. I'm gonna try everything on the menu you can't go wrong with no matter what you order it's all delicious !

Although it was very busy, we were seated right away. Our food came out shortly after we ordered. Side note: If you sit at a booth and aren't against the wall, you may be beaten up by the movement of the people behind you. Pancakes are fantastic flavor wise, but not warm enough to melt the butter. My skillet was delicious, and the portion size was large. It was fiery as promised. I really do love Amy's, but am not excited about the renovation, most especially the mural which depicts zero people of color; that is representative of another time in the Jersey Shore's history. it was a perfect them and I had to write something up about the mirror and you represent a tape you want to take you wanted to take you want to take people of color is money you have to take it off because I think that might be the problem OK where does the sticker was OK I can pop stuff it's all pot there. Try not to touch it a lot of skill 14500 I don't wanna touch it in the opposite way, so maybe that'll allow that to breeze just make sure it's not too hot on anything right here it's coming off anyway it's coming off anyway I'm really happy that you do something for the itching/pain in my right now. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Friendly service and convenient to Long Branch beach area. Pancakes were good as well as the coffee. I wouldn't get the corn beefed hash again but not a game changer.

This is my grandfather's favorite breakfast spot to go to. They have a very extensive menu but you can find almost anything your heart desires for breakfast on that menu. Our service was extremely friendly and they were very helpful when making decisions on the menu. They've recently updated their restaurant and the ambience is very modern and clean. All prices are reasonable and it's a great spot for breakfast or lunch.

We came during the week since weekends seem to be quite busy. The place was very nice, and you could tell they put a lot of effort into the Decor. The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good. ( we had brunch food) It's a little pricey for brunch, but it was more pleasant than a diner atmosphere. The menu was enormous - something for everyone. Parking is available too - Enjoy

Just go and experience it for yourself. Such a cute and quaint spot where you can eat the most delicious breakfast. The waitstaff were so kind and attentive. They definitely added to the dining experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I consistently have issues with this place the service is horrible the woman at the checkout was having an entire conversation with her friend while checking me out and payed 0 attention to me packed my order with no utensils or napkins and my breakfast burrito that I requested have anything that is topped on it be on the side CAME COVERED IN CHEESE

I have really enjoyed visiting Amy's over the years. I'm not sold on the revamp of the inside but that's an aesthetic opinion. The food sizes have gotten smaller but that's a sign of the times. Even if the portions are smaller the food is still delicious. I have tried a lot on the menu over the years and I have never been disappointed. The only thing I don't like and will never order again is a milkshake. I normally get chocolate shakes whenever I go, but here it just tastes like chocolate milk. Maybe it needs more ice cream? The service is hit or miss depending on which server you get. If you don't mind waiting a bit for napkins, water, etc...you will be fine. Though a few are absent minded, no one has ever been rude. They close at 2 pm and you pay at the front desk. On the weekends it gets packed, so plan accordingly. Always say yes to the home fries.

Before covid, this place had a crazy large menu! It was a little overwhelming to be completely honest. But they change the menu and cut down the options which I find much better and more manageable! The staff there are always friendly and helpful, I've been here multiple times in the past four years and never had a bad experience with anyone that works there. The food is a constant good as well. You can definitely depend on their menu to get exactly what you want for breakfast/ lunch.

I did not dine in the restaurant My wife and children dined in and brought me back a meal. Portions are large and the food is great. Pancakes were fresh and tasted great. The turkey club was excellent as were the French fries. From what I understand they will be renovating the interior, I am looking forward to visiting again. The menu has so many choices, great place to go with a lot of folks because there is something for everyone

Nice renovation but it still feels like a cafeteria in an old age home because of the music . And please please please, put on good music, modern music or at least really good older music. That horrible old timey elevator music you have playing all the time makes the experience of sitting there pretty painful . Food is decent, but still four stars until you change that god awful soundtrack. If I return it will only be if they change the type of music.

Close to the beach ! Food was great service was good , portions are appropriate for the price . Place is clean , parking right in front . Give this place a try ! Amy is usually there to answer any questions or issues. Good job

Amy is Amazing! But she clearly doesn't know what's all going on in her restaurant. Bless her heart! She is a fabulous, sweet and understanding woman! Crystal is rude and everything else. Talks smack about employees to new employees. Recently hired before they opened back up and got fired for missing one day!! Food is decent! Place looks amazing but some employees need to be more friendly and understanding like AMY!! Again Bless Her Heart!

Food was good Ambiance nice and cozy, server was so nice and pleasant with a nice smile and knew the menu well for all my teams questions. I ordered the mega meal but there was an abounded list of choice from breakfast to lunch defiantly worth a second stop if you hit the beach for a day and looking for a defiant grub before hitting the road.

My family takes my grandma here everytime she's in town. She loves the berry berry waffles, it's covered in fresh berries and whipped cream. They have a great selection of pancakes/waffles/frenchtoast/crepes, as well as an extensive menu of breakfast foods. It's a great family spot for sunday breakfast or just brunch down the shore. After you can stop at the beach!

Huge menu, nice brunch fare, big portions, and the prices are reasonable at this Jersey Shore coffee shop. The service is also pretty good as well. There are plenty of options for everyone of all ages, and if you like eggs, then you will certainly like what they have to offer. I would definitely come back here, but only if the wait is not too bad.

Food was great but our server was rude and demanding, needs better training or just needs a reality check. Kindness cost zero cents. All over us *needing* to ask for straws and then demanding us to say please. Most restaurants & diners I've been to would just give straws for the amount of drinks ordered. This waiter assumed I would drink from the rim of cups which would lead me to be getting whipped cream all over my nose. Most servers just drop off a straw without being rude, he got combative for some reason.

A good local place with decent food. We've been going for years but just visited since the recent remodel. It looks more modern and cleaner but lacks its former charm. Also the new booths are awkward. The tables are too high and close to the seats. It's hard to get in and out and the legs of the table are so big that they get in the way of your legs while seated. The food was still pretty good although we waited a very long time for it.

Decent breakfast restaurant with a large menu selection close to Pier Village. Everyone in our party had various types of omelets and my son has French Toast. Everything was pretty good but nothing special. I still would have given it more then 3 stars but unfortunately I have mention that the service was exceptionally slow. It took over 20 minutes to get our drink order and we were just about at the one hour mark from when we sat down vs. when we got our food. I know they were busy but this was still way too long to wait for eggs.

Got some take out while staying in the area and it was so very good. We got a fantastic pastrami sandwich and fries and I forgot the name of the incredibly loaded omelette (there are so many) that my husband got but he said was it very, very good. We would both definitely eat here again in a heartbeat.

Amy's Omelette House has been bookmarked on my places to try and I am so glad I finally got around to trying it out. It was truly wonderful! The portion sizes are HUGE and it is definitely a bang for your buck. On the weekends there is usually a bit of wait, but I think it is well worth it. They have an extensive omelette list and if there is nothing that jumps out at you, you can make your own! The potatoes are the perfect kind of breakfast potatoes and they are nice and crispy. I will definitely be back as breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!

Amy's is constantly excellent. The food is always fresh, they offer good prices and regular portion sizes so you don't have to worry about wasting your money. I wish I lived closer to them, I would probably be there every day.

the food there is amazing. the waiters and waitresses are extremely nice and respectful. the renovation of the place is super elegant but i liked the vintage feeling i would get before they renovated the diner. Overall it's an amazing place to eat at, the crepes are amazing.

Always a hit when you come here! I try to switch it up each time because there's so many options, and everything has been so tasty. My last visit I got the latke Benedict and oh my god! The latkes were big and had the perfect amount of crisp and was served with sour cream and applesauce. This might be a go to for me going forward! The staff are always friendly and I love to visit when I'm in the area.

It's nice to see a large crowd eating breakfast at Amy's Omelette House. Though I didn't order an omelette, Jerry, my server, got me eggs, home fries, corn beef hash, and cup of joe. My server was very personable. The place is very clean and the staff wait on tables very promptly. The only thing that didn't live up to 4stars was the hash. It probably was the worst I've had. Jerry said they make it here on campus. A very large parking lot, located in Ursula Plaza.

This is an amazing place to go to alone or with a group. Great portion sizes and the food is outstanding. Definitely be back soon

I went for the first time since they renovated the dining room. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and our server was really attentive and pleasant, even though we were there as soon as the doors opened. I had the Amy's Skillet which was delicious. I took the leftovers home and will have enough for another full breakfast. My companion had one of their omelettes with a side of fruit and it was also great.

Amy's is a staple in the hood and if you love pancakes and waffles with a little extra, here's your place. Not sure if the staff could use a pick me up but good for family's and a carb Ip day, only get there early in the summer or you'll wait for a long time to be seated!

I like this place I live in South Jersey so we ain't as high fluting as them NY folks that complain about...well everything. I loved the atmosphere, staff and the food. They let me substitute my sides and didn't even charge extra. The selection of omelettes is great and that they have scrabble this far north is awesome. So New Yorkers quit your bitching and just enjoy:)

Solid. Walked in on a July Saturday late morning. Quickly seated. Portions are huge and food is made with care. Satisfying greasy spoon breakfast. Thank you Chef for making my scaled down French Toast: cream cheese and Nutella only. The potato pancakes exceeded expectations. Potatoes were seasoned and fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Deelish! Will be back when in the area.

If you're looking for a diner with good food and even better portions, look no further because you've found it! Amy's was doing well on Sunday at lunch time and the wait for two was about 10 minutes. I ordered the Hungryman ($12.50) which came with 3 eggs, 1 sausage, 4 strips of bacon, 2 slices of pork roll, home fries, and 4 slices of toast. My buddy got the Berry Berry Waffle ($11.50) which came with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. I don't know if I've ever received more food at a diner, and all for a very reasonable $12.50! Everything was cooked well -- the bacon was crispy (as it should be), the sausage was delicious, and the home fries had a crisp layer on top (which I love). It was just a metric ton of food that's bound to satiate even the hungriest of men. I didn't try any of the waffle but it was loaded with big berries and the waffle didn't look over- or undercooked. Service was fine, nothing special. If you're in the shore area and looking for a bang for your buck, come here!

How many types of omelettes can you name? Well, Amy's has over 100 types you can order. Not in the mood for omelettes? No worries, there's also a gigantic menu of other items, from breakfast platters to burgers to steak. Also, it's not just their menu that's gigantic. The portion size is equally massive. I consider myself a pretty big eater, but even I could barely finish 2/3 of my breakfast sizzler. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Prices are very reasonable for how much food you're getting. The place is very spacious and can accommodate large groups with no issues.

Big dinner on Ocean ave, not too far away from Pier Village. Clean setting, waitress was nice, she helped us find a laundrymat near by. Food was different. Creative and big portion. I couldnt finish mine. Aloha french toast: crispy with layer of jam in between layer, fresh fruit on top, coconut flake and whip cream on a side Crab Benedict eggs: On Potato cake, you never get this type elsewhere: potato pancake layer with crabmeat and benedict eggs, home fries on a side. YUMMY Total: $30 (2 dishes, 2 big OJ)

Recently went here for breakfast after reading about them online. What a nice place! Their menu is HUGE....too much to choose from. Their menu is very creative and they can customize any of their dishes. Our server had the best personality. Can't wait to come back and try something else!

Even better than the local diner, AMY'S has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. I enjoy the omelettes and the wraps the most! A very large menu to choose from, so you can't go wrong. The wait staff is trained properly and very customer service oriented! I thoroughly enjoy eating at Amy's Omelette House.

Okay diner. It was PACKED on the Sunday during which we visited. Our server was excellent and attentive. Our food tasted great, but there was a small black hair in my daughter's French fries. My husband, despite this, still ate them because he has no shame. His orange juice, he said, tasted like orange water. The menu, like all New Jersey diners, was extensive to the point of being overwhelming. Don't be intimidated, it's mostly just a ton of different types of omelettes. Their kids menu has the most options I've ever seen on a kids menu, though for us that didn't matter because our kid will only eat fish sticks, macaroni and cheese, and French fries. The caramel apple pancakes were delicious and the portion sizes are HUGE!

What can I say this place is a true Gem. They serve up so pretty large plates for breakfast. I don't think any of us actually finished our plates . The servers are nice and the food comes out pretty quick . They are pretty big inside with plenty of seating . With the quick turn around time they keep everyone coming and going. The French toast with bananas is amazing !! The omelettes are really big and when I say there are way too many to choose from I'm not kidding two full pages . The pancakes are yummy as well and there are plenty of those to choose from also. Now if you are getting omelettes or and egg platters with potatoes order them LOADED they are so good!!

Friendly service, a huge menu to choose from and large portions of delicious items at reasonable prices. If these things alone don't convince you by itself then I don't know what will! I had the Belly Buster omelet which has potatoes, meats, cheese, and filled the plate and my belly to capacity. The multi-grain toast was just right (and made me feel a little healthier with that omelet!). It is definitely worth the trip.

This is a diner really, and it was pretty decent. We popped in on a Saturday morning in the winter, it was busy but we were able to get a seat right away. Like other have said they have 222 omelettes. It's a bit nuts. I went with one stuffed with a potato pancake and kielbasa. It was very good, not as much meat and more potato pancake than anything. The home fries I barely touched because the omelette itself was so huge. With 222 omelette selections alone I was looking for a little guidance from the waitress, especially when she came back twice and I wasn't ready to order, I even asked for suggestions and I got, some people order from this side...Um oh thanks for narrowing it down to 111 omelettes. Water and coffee went unfilled, so service was not great at all. We also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy because I love it and like to try it out places. It was meh, a little on the bland side, but not the worst I've ever had. Sure the omelette was tasty but it wasn't mind blowing, and service was meh at best. But, if I were in this 'hood there aren't many other options. So it's worth a stop, for the sheer novelty alone.
