An Bang Beach

We rode bicycles to the beach from our hotel near the Old Quarter. It took us 45 minutes, but it was definitely worth it. The views along the way were amazing; we saw green grass fields and local farming. People were relaxing in the grass, and we even saw a lady helping a farmer feed a cow, which was fun to watch. We also saw local fishermen bringing in their morning catch in round basket boats. Overall, it was a great ride, and the coconut water was delicious.

The beach is great for a city one. Sunbeds cost 75k, there's restaurants and bars nearby. The view is pretty nice as well. The beach gets a little crowded, especially under the umbrellas, so keep that in mind if you artive late.

It's a nice beach with fine sand. I went there during week days so it wasn't busy. The beach is clean and water temperature is perfect to cool down. There are a few vendors trying to sell you stuff but they are very polite and might have a quick chat with you.

Clean, beautiful stretch of beach. Warm water, soft sand, and calm waves perfect for the whole family. Plenty of good restaurants lined along the beach, if you order food from them then you dont have to pay the lounger and umbrella. We are lucky that we are staying just a good 5 minutes walk away from the beach. During our stay, we get to do our early morning walk and swim in the morning.

Nice beach if you find the right spot. Nice sand, relatively clean, warm sea with a reasonable current to be aware of. Seemed to be a life guard on beach. We found it easiest to pick a nice cafe bar and use that as a base, showers available at different cafes. Lots of parking lots trying to tell us we weren't allowed to cycle through, just keep moving until you find a quiet spot to think, most beach cafes seem to have their own free parking once you got to them.

An Bang Beach is beautifully maintained and one of the cleanest beaches I’ve visited in Vietnam. The sand is soft and spotless, and there are plenty of sun loungers available if you want to relax by the sea. I came right after a rain shower, so it was peaceful and uncrowded — the perfect time to enjoy the sound of the waves and the fresh ocean air. A wonderful spot to unwind and escape the busy streets of Hoi An. Highly recommended.

The place looks very nice! I visited during winter, so I can't comment extensively on what it's like in other seasons, but overall it made a great impression. One thing to note: there's a parking fee if you arrive by bicycle or motorbike.

So sad to see the storm damage and beach washed away, really feel for the locals making an effort to stay in business, so resilient 💖 A few derelict and abandoned resorts, suggest 1-2 nights maybe, not resort package deals, the big resorts like The Pearl were essentially ghost towns when we walked the area early Dec 2025. Pics and videos attached speak volumes... 😓 The determined locals will find a way to bring back, long extensive process though 💪❤️
