The restaurant is located in a small alley. The decor is very cozy. The table I take is actually a sewing machine. The food is very original and tastes amazing. I dear say this is a must try restaurant when visiting HCMC. Highly recommended! I also got 2 free rice wine from the super friendly stuff😊

Egg coffee and home brewed beer was so good. I wanted to come back again but couldn’t find time. Will definitely be back next trip. Beer might be top 3 for me.

A small, secluded and hidden but very beautiful restaurant. The food was extraordinary, especially because it is the authentic taste from different parts of Vietnam. We also really liked the traditional way in which this restaurant is set up. The staff is very welcoming and willing to share the history of this place. We felt very well, we warmly recommend this restaurant!

Beef with ant eggs.Occasionally you find a spot that truly offers something a little different from a culinary perspective. The chef and family running this restaurant offer unique dishes from all over Vietnam. This fare is not what you’d usually expect. From the thinly sliced beef covered in ant eggs, the smoked buffalo meat, chicken feet & crispy chicken wings all presented with traditional sauces. We all agreed this was an absolutely unique spot in the very best sense of the word. The staff were all incredibly hospitable. If you’re up to trying something a little out of the ordinary this is the spot. I doubt you’ll regret it.

Good food and very fast service. I recommend the beef and the beer. The place is not very visible from the street though; either they put up a bigger sign on the street or Google maps needs to be more detailed.

Our first dinner in HCMC! We decided to opt for this venue as recommended by What The Pho. Food: we had the buffalo jerky - which was our favourite, beef with lemongrass dressing and any eggs - a must try if one feels adventurous(!) and fried rice with eggs and beef - very flavoured and a good portion too. We then shared a local beer, which was served in terracotta pots. Service: efficient and quick, the waiter also gave us a round down on the dishes we ordered. Atmosphere: the venue was pretty quiet as we dined very early. We loved the rustic atmosphere and decorations.

An House is the epitome of unreasonable hospitality. Thank you Thai for such a great experience. The food was creative, beautiful and featured fresh ingredients that showed case the beauty, the texture and the taste. Thank you for going above and beyond to source local ingredients to in the morning for us AND personally delivered sea worms to our hotel so I can create the most authentic bowl of pho when I return to California. We were in HCM for 3 days and we had 3 meals with you. Amazing! I can still taste the baby shrimps and feel the texture! You are a true gem!
