A small, secluded and hidden but very beautiful restaurant. The food was extraordinary, especially because it is the authentic taste from different parts of Vietnam. We also really liked the traditional way in which this restaurant is set up. The staff is very welcoming and willing to share the history of this place. We felt very well, we warmly recommend this restaurant!

Beef with ant eggs.Occasionally you find a spot that truly offers something a little different from a culinary perspective. The chef and family running this restaurant offer unique dishes from all over Vietnam. This fare is not what you’d usually expect. From the thinly sliced beef covered in ant eggs, the smoked buffalo meat, chicken feet & crispy chicken wings all presented with traditional sauces. We all agreed this was an absolutely unique spot in the very best sense of the word. The staff were all incredibly hospitable. If you’re up to trying something a little out of the ordinary this is the spot. I doubt you’ll regret it.

Our first dinner in HCMC! We decided to opt for this venue as recommended by What The Pho. Food: we had the buffalo jerky - which was our favourite, beef with lemongrass dressing and any eggs - a must try if one feels adventurous(!) and fried rice with eggs and beef - very flavoured and a good portion too. We then shared a local beer, which was served in terracotta pots. Service: efficient and quick, the waiter also gave us a round down on the dishes we ordered. Atmosphere: the venue was pretty quiet as we dined very early. We loved the rustic atmosphere and decorations.

A bit of a gem, hidden away somewhat. Egg coffee presentation is fantastic, and while I am definitely not an egg coffee aficionado, observing the very favourable reactions of others strongly suggests it rates very well here. Craft beer I can endorse as being excellent!

An experience more than just food. The owner who was a travel guide tried a lot of food in different parts of Vietnam 🇻🇳. His intentions are to bring the best to Saigon and he is doing very well tbh. The ant eggs stung beef is super flavourful, pork salad is unique and the smoked buffalo with a unique sauce is quite a dish. They have some good craft beers too ( partners with Heart of Darkness brewery) If you are after some intimate lunch/dinner with some personalised experience, this is your place.

Positive things are food and a lot kinds of craft beer. Negative is this shop sounds mold smell. But it’s just my opinion. Ideally, I wanted to enjoy beer from taps. If you want to do that, you need to buy whole tap. When you go there with your friend who is beer lover, you might do that.

A bit difficult to find initially as we were dropped off by the Grab Taxi on the Main Street. You need to walk thru an alley that seems to be residential. We got lost, but a local helped guide us to the right place. Stumbled upon this restaurant on a YouTube video and was intrigued by their interesting food ingredients and great reviews. I’d recommend trying for yourself. This was such a great price for how “fancy” the food seemed. I’d probably just skip the egg coffee.

An House is the epitome of unreasonable hospitality. Thank you Thai for such a great experience. The food was creative, beautiful and featured fresh ingredients that showed case the beauty, the texture and the taste. Thank you for going above and beyond to source local ingredients to in the morning for us AND personally delivered sea worms to our hotel so I can create the most authentic bowl of pho when I return to California. We were in HCM for 3 days and we had 3 meals with you. Amazing! I can still taste the baby shrimps and feel the texture! You are a true gem!
