I guess you really can't go home again. What a letdown. My husband and I stayed here years ago when it was Beach Walk on the Ocean, run by two local women who made it feel warm and welcoming. Back then, there was a sense of care in everything--right down to the wonderful homemade breakfast.||Unfortunately, since it was sold, the whole experience has gone downhill. There's no breakfast anymore, no personal touches, and honestly, no charm left. The check-in process was confusing--we had to go next door to another property, and no one was even there. I had to dig through my email to find a phone number just to get someone to help us.||Our room felt neglected, with thin linens, a couple of cheap toiletries, and a generally shabby vibe. The kitchen, which used to be a lovely shared space, was now a mess that looked more like a storage closet. The front porch was littered with old cups and cigarette butts that were never cleaned up during our stay.||The worst part? After we got home, I realized I'd been double charged.||This used to be a gem on the Boardwalk. Sadly, those days are over.
