1. Room Condition The room was in excellent condition. It was very spacious, with a bed and sofa that were extremely comfortable. The bathtub was also large, and I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing soak. 2. Butler Service The resort operates with a butler system. Our butler, Thanh (Solar), was truly delightful—very cheerful and attentive. He looked after us with such care that our entire stay was incredibly comfortable. From check-in and check-out to making restaurant reservations within the resort, everything was handled seamlessly. 3. Resort & Dining The resort itself is nature-friendly and offers a beautiful river view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were also very satisfied with the food at both breakfast and dinner in the resort’s restaurant.

Quite honestly the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. An honourable mention to Tran who is so kind, accommodating, helpful and fun!! But literally every single member of staff is fantastic. The downturn service especially is such a treat, your room is prepared for bedtime!!! Not only is the service amazing, but the rooms (we have river view with a private pool), is spacious, beautiful decorated and super comfy. The showers and bath are excellent. The food on site is INCREDIBLE. I am a vegan, my husband is not, and we have both eaten like gods. Somehow the entire staff knew I was vegan within 2 hours of our arrival, even before our allowed check in time, and everywhere I go they immediately tell me the vegan options. At breakfast they offered me vegan options that weren’t at the buffet. Food and beer prices are very reasonable as well. The only criticism I have of the entire place is that the rooms could use a full length mirror so that I can check my outfit with my shoes together! That is literally the only thing I can think of!! We will be back, and we can’t wait. What a little slice of heaven.

I am so glad we chose to stay at An Lam Retreat as our base in HCM City - a peaceful escape from the chaos of the city. We booked a Luxury Escapes package for 3 nights including airport transfers, two drinks per adult daily and one three course meal. Such amazing value! ||While the retreat is about a 40 minute drive to the centre of the city the included speedboat shuttle, which runs multiple times per day, takes only 20 minutes and it is such a great way to see another side of the city. We had no issue getting GRAB cars back to the retreat at times where the speedboat shuttle times didn’t align with our plans. ||The jungle retreat has the most magical and stunning grounds and the rooms are large and beautifully furnished with such a peaceful outlook. ||Breakfast is next level amazing and for a boutique retreat it really does rival any 5 star resort. Sitting on the restaurant deck it is just so serene seating there watching the lotus clusters float up or down the river depending on the tide. ||My two kids, 3 and 10, loved the activities on offer and did the bracelet making and kids cooking class. The pool was a big hit and we were generally the only people using it. ||Each room is allocated a personal butler - all staff are wonderful and very willing to help. ||I can not recommend this retreat highly enough - you have to book!

This place is a unique calm and beautiful retreat. Fantastic place for those that want to get back to nature. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The whole resort is just stunning. Wish we could have stayed longer.

An Lam hotel was an excellent experience in every aspect of our stay. Hotel premises were clean and well maintained and built as part of nature, creating a jungle-like feeling. Staff was welcoming and most of them spoke English. The breakfast menu was one of the best we've seen and the river view was fantastic. Location of the hotel was a bit further from city center, but mostly this is not an issue as taxi drive was around 30 minutes.||We also had the priviledge to attend Vietnamise wedding party, also arranged by the hotel. The ceremony was great and food there was also excellent.

What I can I say... This was the most incredible place to stay and acclimatise for our month-long trip in Vietnam. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our butler, Tan, was amazing. He helped us with every query and made us feel very special. We especially enjoyed the Sunrise Yoga, massage treatments at the spa and our evening rooftop drinks in the bar. The rooms were gorgeous, super spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The ambience around the hotel, with all the plants, ponds and walkways was spectacular. The staff at the restaurant were really helpful and the breakfast buffet blew our minds. We took a boat ride into the city one evening for dinner, which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle and being able to travel into the city when we wanted to (Grab into the city is only about £5-7, so not an issue at all). I was made to feel very special with all the extra birthday treats too. I could go on and on about how fabulous this place is, but I'll just say, thank you!

My mom, my auntie and I just had a short stay at this resort. Three of us were so impressed with excellent customer service from all the staff. Upon our arrival by speedboat, we were greeted by friendly receptionists. The waiters and waitresses at the restaurant served our meals with their smiles. My special thanks go to Mr. Trong Tan for his outstanding service. When he knew that my mom suffered a pain in her wrist, he immediately looked for medical staff to provide her with some treatment. He even brought a stool to our room for my old auntie and mom to sit on while taking a shower. I really appreciate his support.

Wow what an experience the accommodation was excellent staff super helpful and friendly. I travel all over the world for business and found that An Lam retreat was not just some accommodation it was an experience which I have never had anywhere else. The staff went over and above to make my visit as relaxing as possible. The food was amazing with two restaurants, an Italian restaurant and lounge, and a Vietnamese restaurant right on the edge of the Saigon river. The staff in the Italian restaurant new their product so well and we're super friendly. And the same for the Vietnamese restaurant and bar. And the breakfast was outstanding. I can't wait until next time I am in town.
