ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya

Great location right next to the train station, with shops and supermarkets nearby. The area is quiet, the rooms are comfortable, and the view is nice. Unfortunately, the experience was affected by poor communication from the staff. I was not informed about a strict dress code for common areas, and the way it was enforced felt unclear and inconsistent, which made me feel unwelcome. This hotel is effectively run like a business hotel, even though this is not clearly stated on their website. If you’re traveling for business, it may suit you. However, if you’re a tourist looking for a relaxed, resort-like or chill atmosphere, I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel is a less than 5 minute walk from the Nagoya Station. Very welcome after a long day of sightseeing and walking. The rooms did not disappoint and had a wonderful view of the city. The rooms were very clean, no shortage of hot water, and quiet. Sleep was not a problem. I do recommend the breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor. The food was good and the staff were very efficient. The lines moved quickly for the most part. Sometimes you had that diner who was overwhelmed with choices and indecision. Best way to end this review is to say that my family and I have visited Nagoya before. They have all stated that this is their favorite hotel. I agree!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Location is perfect - literally 30 seconds walk from Kanayama Station (use the South Exit, turn right and you'll be there). The rooms are a decent size, the bathroom is user-friendly and every staff member we interacted with was so kind and polite. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at the hotel. The city views from the room were stunning. This will definitely be the place to stay when returning to Nagoya.

Big room spaces, fantastic view, and superb location! Not to mention the hospitality of the staff. We stayed for 4 nights and my little girl vomited on our 2nd night. They helped us with cleaning straightaway and asked us how she was when we checked out! Such a nice thought! Location is the best too. Just outside of the train station. And plenty of restaurants nearby. One major plus is the view of the train station and tracks from our room which made my son very happy!

Location is perfect right next to Kanayama train station which is connected to train and subway network. The staff were polite and helpful. Just one issue during our stay: We booked a three-bedroom where a sofa bed was not fully flat. I slept for the first night feeling discomfort at low back. We called the hotel service desk and the lady staff was very helpful to add a layer of blanket underneath the mattress to help. While it’s not perfect but it still felt better for remaining few nights of sleep. Suggest the hotel to review this issue especially for guest staying for a few nights.

Located next to Kanayama Station which is connected to both the Meitetsu, JR and subway lines, the hotel is rather conveniently located to get around Nagoya and to the airport. While it is one or two stops away from the main hub of Nagoya, it is also relatively quiet compared to hotels around Nagoya Station. The rooms here are quite big and spacious too, with views of Nagoya and the surrounding mountains on a clear day. The breakfast buffet is quite substantial with some local items such as Nagoya style chicken wings and eel rice on offer. Service is generally good and the staff are friendly.

The reason I came back to the hotel is because of staffs. All of them are so professional and feel try their very best to all customers. My children were also happy to receive their great and kind service. One thing to take note here for myself is, It’s better to make a reservation for dinner at the 2F buffet restaurant even weekdays. Last time we just dropped by and not many groups, but this time almost full.. however still lucky to have seats as my children wanted.

Stayed here two times during our Japan trip. Both times, our IHG status was acknowledged, and we even received one complementary suite upgrade during our first stay. Although busy, the staff made sure to attend to all of our needs. Great location close to a train station, and with many convenience stores nearby. Definitely a good hotel in Nagoya with all the necessary amenities as well as bonus ones.

Great location and near so many places to eat and see. I did miss the fact that the parking they share closes at 1am. So had to get help from the front desk to park my car back in the garage. The room was spacious and very enjoyable. The staffs assistance was quick and polite. Quickly Got me checked in and to my room. Cant wait to stay again.

Very nice IHG hotel. Located next to a train stop, essential on the the way into Nagoya. Great view from the top floor bar. Awesome staff, great rooms! Thanks!
