Very good bbq place a hidden Gem , got the special of smoked tender brisket ,sauceage, beef fajitas and chicken, with rice beans (bbq sauce jalapeno, onions, bread). What was left of of my amazing plate. Prices amazing for the amount of food.

This place is great, the service is that original, authentic southern hospitality service. You feel like your family or like you've known them for years. The other great thing is they have a special for each day. Today (Tuesday) is the brisket burger for $5.75. I ask for the fatty slices and thats what I always get. I order to take so they pack everything separate for me so I can prep and eat when I get home. They do have a dining area as well and it is the perfect Texas bbq dining area. I think Wednesday is the chicken plate special for $7.50. Not one complaint about this establishment. It is worth the visit, I highly recommend.

Awesome roadside stand with homestyle barbecue. We weren't super hungry, so the two of us shared the three-meat special, which includes three thick but short slices of brisket, chicken thigh and leg, small piece of sausage, rice, beans, and bread for $14. Everything was lightly seasoned, which really let the smoke flavor shine. The sauce is thick and sweet, but a good partner to the meat. There's a small room available for eating in, but most take it to go. Service is quick.

Delicious! We got the botana with a side plate of their Monday ribs special. The rice and beans were so good, and it also came with potato salad. There was something for everyone! The fajitas are the best I’ve ever had and the brisket was to die for. The chicken was perfect and the ribs were next level. Can’t say enough good things and can’t wait to come back!

Hidden gem! Probably the best turkey leg I have had ever. The plates are also very well stacked . The price on the food is very fair and cheap compared to the amount of food you get.

First time go to this place. I didn't realize that there are two businesses right next to each other and parking is minimal. Plus it's right in an intersection. I parked and it wasn't till I got out that I realized I was parked in the Other guys drive thru shop. People did space themselves as we lined up to approach a window to place an order. When I finally made it up, I told the elderly man that it was the first time I was visiting their establishment. Then he told me to move aside and took care of a lady who had just arrived.i assume she had phoned in an order. I got their special $12.70 for their round up. Chicken was good, beef fajitas and Brisket were tough. The sausage was good. The rice was very dry and beans had lots of blubbery fat in it. Also, I got bread slices which included a Heal. The BBQ sauce, was not to my liking. It was thick, and sweet.

Franklins Move over. Anaquitas is a must try Bbq smoke house. Nestled just north of the 83 expressway on Texas ave this place knows meats and have been doing it for while. Victor the Smoking Man gave us a grand tour of the Smoke house where it all happens what a sight.Stop by and try it the Brisket sandwich its a crowd pleaser and a real Texas size Sanwich .The chicken, The fajitas and the sausage were Exellent but the Brisket takes the prize got two texas round up plates and i had to try the brisket sanwich all for under $35.00 dlls fed a familly of 5 what a deal.

Small unassuming place where you walk up to place your order at the window. Had a brisket sandwich. Delicious and meaty. Owner came out and chatted with us for a bit. Invited us and the dogs to eat in his detached diner to get out of the heat. Really nice guy. If you want great Texas BBQ, you can't go wrong with this place.

Come to Mercedes and get some of this! Tender meats, super nice owner, smokehouse style. Eat here to take to go. Potato salad is great. $13.50 for brisket, sausage, rice and beans.

I ordered the chicken which I hesitate to do at barbecue restaurants because it's so often dry. But this little hole in the wall place has the best chicken it's not dry, very delicious and tasty. I highly recommend it.

GOT THE BOTANA $25.00 now, but WOW. Brisket was moist, smoky & wonderful. Chicken tender & moist, not dried at all. Sausage lightly smoked, and sliced. Sides were good too!! Well worth the price.

Food is really good. I had a brisket sandwich and there must have been a 1/2# of brisket on it. Sliced thick but it was very tender and not smothered in sauce. Down side is you have to order outside one at a time then you can go into a separate building to sit down. I would come back but I would want to be really hungry and try one of the botana plates.

I have lived down here in the Valley two years now, and finally found a place "Anacuitas" that makes great brisket. Reasonably priced, no frills....just good. Try it

I stopped here on way back home from Bingo for a Brisket Plate. Didn't open till I got home. Man oh man, what good BBQ was so tender and juicy and a LOT OF IT. Almost couldn't eat it all but I did. It came with Rice, Beans, Pickles, Onions and Bread, and of course the BBQ sauce. Man it was some kind of GOOD. I will be stopping here in the future on my way to and from the Bingo halls. Oh and the price was really good too. A++++++++++++++
