Anafiotika Cafe - Restaurant

After watching the video of famous travel blogger Spanian visit the rooftop of this restaurant by complete chance for his 'night in Athens' video, we were hyped to come here and try the same meal of Greek salad, Tzatziki, Pitta Bread & Moussaka. It did not disappoint, was exceptional. Great price too. This restaurant has the best rooftop area of all of Anafiótika.

Perfect place for a meal with a great new. The staff is so kind and patient, they explained all the dishes to us, offered advice and told us it’s never too early for moussaka. We had the mixed plate and octopus, both were delicious. Will be returning!

We absolutely loved it here - so much so that we came back again and again! The staff welcomed my 10 year old son so well it made him feel like family! Our waiter Simon even brought him out traditional Christmas cookies for dessert our last two nights, and sent him a few extra cookies for the road! It made him so happy. The food was yummy and had good options for vegetarians - definitely recommend the gemista and Greek salad! The ambience was great, tucked in an alley with good vibes and heat lamps! We wish could have this exact place where we live. Highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere on the steps, and wonderful service. The menu was fantastic, I was so happy to see many items that are not necessarily standard fare. Being able to try different dishes was so great! Wonderful food for a reasonable cost. A great spot to sit and relax and take in the vibe.

Perfect place to come after the tour of Acropolis. Impeccable local vibe, great service, delicious fresh food. Their moussaka is fantastic! Probably the best one I’ve had.

A wonderful spot to stop and have a nice meal and drinks at the stairs. Fantastic service and nice and cold drinks for a warm afternoon after visiting the Acropolis. The Cesar salad was full of flavour and we also enjoyed the spinach and cheese pie. Worth a visit.

We had the best experience thanks to Fay our waitress, she took care of us giving best suggestions and best service. Highly recommend this place! Great view and great food!!

We stumbled upon this gem based on a recommendation after a walking tour. The service was top-notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included delicious Soutzoukakia, Tirokafteri with pita bread, crispy fried squid, and refreshing glasses of orange and lemon juice. The food was not only flavorful but also reasonably priced. This spot was perfectly located by the stairs in Mnisikleous street.
