Did an amazing job of converting a reel to reel audio tape I had from 1967. Quality was better than expected and noise reduction worked great.

Fantastic service! Wow. What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Analog to Digital. I had a bunch of old tapes (I'm not sure what the technical term is for them, maybe cassette tapes?) that had recordings of the music of a family member who had passed away. I didn't trust the online services that require you to send the tapes away into the ether. Fortunately, someone recommended Analog to Digital to me. They had a good experience with them on converting some Hi-8 tapes, so I decided to give them a try. The quality on the digital files was impeccable! Thank you for the wonderful service!

Had some Hi-8 tapes converted here and the process was seamless. Dropped off my tapes and had the digital back within about a week at a very fair price. Now, I have these memories in a digital form and would highly recommend Analog to Digital to anyone.

I just have to say Nick really went out of his way for me when I had to copy a video of my mothers life for her memorial from DVD to USB. He also gave me a life link to access and did it in record time for a reasonable price. Today I'm going to bring him VHS! And actually a few other DVDs Thanks so much Nick I really appreciate your great service!

What a great experience working with Nick! The service was professional, prompt, affordable, and above and beyond. I had several VHS from the 1990s (from Japan if that matters regarding format, but not sure) and two DVDs which Nick uploaded onto one USB. The above and beyond was Nick also did the time consuming task of uploading many hours of footage to my YouTube channel so I could share these archival materials with a historian back in Japan. Considering the tapes are over 25 years old and I had them stored haphazardly over the years, I am very impressed with the quality of the finished product. I am grateful to be able to save this footage which may be a great addition to a history book being written about LGBTQ+ civil rights movement in Japan. Nick made an impossible task (I could not find a VHS recorder within my friendship circle) a very efficient one. If you have some analog stuff whatever it might be and you want to preserve it, I highly recommend consulting with Nick to see what magic they might be able to manifest. Thanks, Analog to Digital! Analog to Digital is great! I brought in some old audio cassettes, and Nick transferred them over to a digital format. The new files sound terrific. There was one problem with converting the tapes at first, but Nick was very helpful and he quickly solved the problem for no charge, and did a new transfer. It's great to find someone so courteous and friendly!

I wanted to convert over 100 vinyl 12'' dance/electronic records (mostly from the 90's) to digital files (FLAC) and researched many companies to do this. Eventually I chose Nick at 'Analog to Digital' as he gave me the best price for ripping/converting only specific tracks instead of the entire 12'' record. This saved me a lot of money. As I had so many vinyl records to convert he collected and returned my valuable collection in person which made me feel a lot safer than having to mail them in and risk losing them ! I also felt safer dealing directly with Nick, the owner, instead of just an employee who may not care as much about my records or the conversion process. He was very flexible when working with me which I greatly appreciated, other companies were much more rigid. He cleaned each vinyl record and had high quality audio equipment and software to 'clean up' the vinyl background noise - crackles/hiss. I currently only own a cheap $100 USB record deck with free software which doesn't compare! Vinyl artwork and artist/track titles were created for each FLAC file saving me valuable time. I had him convert a record and 'clean' it up via his software program and compared it to a straight vinyl rip without any software 'clean up', the difference was amazing. I was extremely happy with the quality of the vinyl conversion. Of course it depends on the quality of your original vinyl but most of mine were purchased new and well cared for so the quality of the audio was very high. I hardly hear any crackles or background hiss in the recordings. A few recordings skipped in places due to needle issues but this was quickly sorted out and new recordings done. Nick is a really great, friendly, easy going guy and it was a pleasure working with him throughout the process. It was definitely worth the money spent ! Converting all the vinyl myself would have taken way too long with much lower audio quality !

I had a great experience with Analog-To-Digital in converting some old reel-to-reels from my music school days in the late 70s as well as a couple of LPs of my high school choir. Nick was responsive, pleasant, and professional, and I could not be happier with the results of their work. The sound quality is even better than expected, including the LP's, and the reel to reels (which because of age had to be specially treated to prevent the binding from gumming up as it was played) came out beautifully. When I received the return package with all of my original recording's along with the new CD's, it was clear that they had treated everything with great care. I also really appreciated the attractive disc titles, the track separations, as well as Nick's responsiveness in getting a vhs tape done first and in time for family reunion.

I brought in an old home movie on VHS tape that I wanted as a digital video file (.MP4). Nick was very up front with his costs and services, and everything was at a great price. I got the file within just a couple days, and he took good care of my original VHS tape. He put the file on a USB drive, but I appreciated that he made it downloadable from his server. Highly recommended!

Extremely grateful to Nick for his timely and thorough work on a big project to digitize dozens of reel-to-reel tapes of all sizes. These were tapes of my dad was a radio broadcaster from the beginning of his career in the 1950s to the early 2000s when he passed away. They tapes include one-of-a-kind interviews with celebrities, politicians, and historical figures, and they have great personal meaning to our family, too. I just received my order back from Nick and team at Analog-to-Digital and I am blown away. The job was to convert to CD some 78 RPM records my dad had recorded in 1944. They did an excellent job--the quality far surpassed my expectations. The communication was timely as well, and the price reasonable. I will definitely use Analog-to-Digital again for other such conversion jobs!

I sent A2D my prized "Higglety Pigglety Pop!" cassette to create a CD for my 3-year-old niece. This tape has a long history in my family, and the story of "Higglety Pigglety Pop!" was a favorite for my grandmother to read to us as children - so to say I was apprehensive would be an understatement. But what a nice surprise! A2D was speedy, professional and courteous! They even emailed me to update me on the status of my order regularly, and the CD they delivered was perfectly rendered and professionally labeled. I'm a fan!

If you are looking to have your out of print LPs transferred to CD, look no further. Analog to Digital is an excellent business. They are professional and definitely offer five star quality of work and service. I sent out eight dance extended 12 inch singles from the 80's. The LPs are out of print and not available on CD or digital download. After about three days, I received my records back in great condition plus the CDs, and all I have to say is WOW. I can not believe how fantastic they all sound. I also had the crack & pop removal service added. They use the industry standard Technics SL-1200 MK2 direct drive turntable. My 12 inch singles sound like they were digitally re-mastered. So clean, clear with a rich warm sound. I've been blasting the CDs on my Harman Kardon car stereo.... WOW. Took my old Jimmie Rodgers LP - "Twilight On the Trail"- and AtoD returned it to my listening life via CD. He was a lot younger when I purchased it and so was I. I am an admitted Techno-Idiot and was made to feel comfortable with my efforts to explain what I wanted. Until I was referred to them about 30 minutes earlier I had no inkling of what was possible. Pleasant Folks. Quick service. Easy access. Plan to return for a Robert Goulet, very old, Italian Songs LP to CD next week. As a Child of 50's and 60's I have a large LP collection. I will be going through them with CDs in mind. So pleased with it all that 5 Stars do not seem to be enough! Joanna

After friends suggested sending 200+ years (350 pounds packed up) of family history to India for scanning, I researched closer to home and luckily found A to D. Nick explained everything, reviewed my options, and was able to help me budget by scanning some every month for over a year. Items included hundreds of photos and slides, newspaper clippings, scrap books, magnetic tape on little reels, 8mm movies, VHS tapes, audio cassettes, drawings, hundreds of letters from the 1800s, and surely something I've forgotten. All digitized items electronically filed to match the various labeled boxes so I can find things. About 1.5TB of data in all. Cannot be happier with the quality of work and integrity of the company.

Expertly done, just as promised, right on time. What was on an old cassette is now on my iPhone!

We wanted to digitize an audio tape - it was a 25+ year old audio cassette with songs and poems recited by our son from ages 2 to 5. So, as you can imagine, it was priceless to us... :-) A2D did a great job digitizing the tape and completed the job in a record time (in a couple of days). When we got the CD, we discovered that a small part of it was barely audible - unfortunately, it was that way on the original tape recording as well. I called Nick at A2D, and he did a great job custom-editing the recording and boosting the sound of the bad segment as much as possible, and again, did it in just one day. Great service, great job, great company, great price - don't look any further if you need any digitizing done.

Left six cd's with family voice recordings at the 1714 Franklin St counter. Nick and his people converted the cd sound to digital and enhanced the sound quality. They uploaded the files to their server from which I easily downloaded the MP3 files to my computer. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service and the price.

I am an elementary teacher and I teach my students a song every week. Excellent quality, excellent service, much cheaper than others....no office you can drop by so you have to either mail in or drop off/pick up at UPS Store, though. Minor inconvenience, I'd give a 4.5 if possible. Staff is very friendly and knows their stuff.

I communicated with Nick via email. He responded in a timely manner and answered my questions. I sent 5 audio tapes in and got the CDs back in in less than a week. They did a great job on them. They did make a mistake on one but took care of it immediately. Their prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding. If you want you audio tapes digitized , this is where to have it done.
