Anam Cara Bed & Breakfast

Very well located, close to Cork city center. The room are average sized but very pretty with a private bathroom. The beds are good and comfortable. The huge plus are Aideen (the owner) recommendations and advices to make the best of our stay. Also you can enjoy a very good homemade breakfast with few options, we went and shared a full Irish and Belgian waffles and it was perfect.

Stayed here for the Cork Jazz festival and got a very reasonable price for the weekend that was in it. The full Irish breakfast was delicious, all freshly cooked with orange juice and free coffee refills, having this included in the price was a big plus Aideen was very accommodating. When I asked for an iron and ironing board, she instead asked for my shirt and ironed it for me. Such a nice touch that you wouldn't see many other places, I would highly recommend this place.

Cute B&B in a wonderful position, near the Cathedral and 5 minutes from the center of cork. Beds are very comfy, the rooms are little but with a bathroom, the house is clean. breakfast options are great, Aileen and Tim are wonderful host, very nice and friendly. 10/10!

Amazing accommodations, location, comfort, food, etc., exceeded only by the warmth and care of our hosts. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Ideal location for walking. Don't miss the University College Cork <5 minutes walk away. Not to miss.

Amazing B&B! Such a lovely place, we regret not having stayed longer in Cork. Breakfast was excellent, everything was very cozy. The host gave us a lot of amazing tips!

Lovely little guest house located an easy 10-15mins walk into Cork.|Parking at the rear is a bonus, and the staff and breakfast were very nice.|Tim offered us advise and guidance on what to see (and what not to see), so again very helpful.

I had a lovely stay here. 3 nights, but I wish it had been longer. The location is so great! Far enough away to be quiet, but only 10 min walk to the center of the city. Beautiful trails and paths to walk on, great pubs a five minute walk away. Gracious hosts and delicious breakfast. I loved my stay.

We came for a long weekend having hired a car at the airport. Although the rear carpark was full, there was ample room within the front of the property. We had a lovely welcome from Tim who provided some great recommendations for pubs etc. The double room was spacious and well appointed with a roomy wardrobe, dressing table with mirror over and kettle tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The bathroom was very adequate, although a little tired. The shower was plenty powerful, easy to use and hot. Breakfast was served in probably the best BB dining room we've ever been to. Café style, Aideen was very attentive and the food excellent. Altogether, a great stay and highly recommended.

Wonderful owners, a great downtown location and soft, down pillows and comforters make this cozy B&B perfect for touring the city of Cork. Stayed two nights, and slept well both of them. Parking is free, which is handy for a downtown area. The included breakfast, from the next door Serendipity Cafe, was the best breakfast I ate in Ireland! Only downside was that my room was extremely small, and the bathroom minuscule. However, this B&B was so welcoming, I'd stay there again!
