Ordered, food came timely. As titled, very very authentic. Especially papaya salad and bun cha were fantastic. Pho Ga is also recommended.

I had high hopes for this Vietnam restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The service was disappointing—slow and inattentive, which made the meal less enjoyable. While the presentation of the dishes was quite nice and the décor of the restaurant is beautifully done, the food itself leaned heavily on the sweet side, which didn’t suit my taste. With some improvements to the service and better flavor balance, this place could live up to its promising ambiance.

It reminds me about Hà Nội. The decoration is really impressive. Foods are tasty, portion is large. I expect that they could offer more sauce for Bun cha. I dont like tào phớ. Service is good. There is only one waitress but she works very efficiently.

First time seeing eel soup in a Vietnamese restaurant, very good, strong peppery taste. Pan-fried salmon BBQ, water dragon BBQ, and crispy duck were all very good, served with sweet potato fries (100 times better than fries) and rice. The portions were so huge that we had to work very hard to finish them.

Warning : They added a tip (Trinkgeld) without asking, right before swiping the card — the amount wasn’t much, but it felt unethical and sneaky. Transparency with billing is important, and this left a bad impression. As for the food: the Bun Cha was good, the crispy duck was nicely done, but the prawn in the summer roll didn’t taste fresh.

The service at this restaurant is terrible. I clearly arrived first, but the waitress took the other table's order before mine—just because there were three of them and I was alone. I asked her why she took the other table’s order first when I had clearly arrived before them. She couldn’t give me a proper explanation and just turned around and walked away, leaving me there by myself. Without even sorry

The pork bbq was pretty good. The service was minimum but they still charged 10% tips without asking. We found this out after we paid by card and saw the final invoice. Mandatory tip without prior notice and not really nice service was a red flag for me. Won't come back.

I love the bun cha! You can taste the char so it’s authentically charcoal grilled. Pho bo was quite ok too

Yelp
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've ever been to! Never would I have thought it'd be in Dresden. The atmosphere and interior design is awesome. The service was prompt (and they spoke English). Most importantly, the food is presented very well and is uber delicious! I can't say enough good things about Anamit. The neighborhood it sits in is fun, lots of cool bars surrounding it, and everything on the menu looks tempting. The Pho (#17) was on point as was the Bun Cha (#21). If you're Filipino, you will probably like their Tee Teas!

Yelp
Great lunch/dinner experience. The food was super fresh, great to look at and affordable. Wide variety of dishes. Super nice staff. The only thing. The service is a little slow but not much different than in almost any other place we've been in Germany on that trip.

Yelp
The food is really good, a had some smaller snacks like shrimps on sweet potato and scallops with teriyaki sauce and peanuts. The selection of food is large with very Vietnamese to fusion, and they have a good selection of teas. I'll definitely eat there again!

Yelp
Firstly, there is a racist American prick who reviewed this restaurant here on yelp and gave it 1 star, with his main issue being none of the staff spoke English. (This at a restaurant run by Vietnamese immigrants in Germany.) What an arrogant c%&$. In case you don't know Lard-muncher English is not a national language in Germany, so please don't be a useless a**hole expecting it everywhere. If a server doesn't speak the Queen's English... be a tourist! Wave your hands, smile sheepishly, point, nod, and if it doesn't work out in the end at least you tried. Oh, and in case you didn't notice there are English descriptions on the menu. (Segwaying into a restaurant review...) My partner and I are regulars at Anamit and we have always had a good experience. Food has a solid price/quality ratio, wait time is quick in off peak times, with a bit of a wait when the restaurant is full. Wait staff are always friendly. The interior decorating is surprisingly cool, adds to the atmosphere and makes the dining experience interesting, even if there are only a few customers. I can't recommend highly enough the coconut-avacado curry. Normally, I try to sample the menu when I find a restaurant I like - and my partner has done so, being pleased with the results - however this meal is, in my opinion, the bee's frickin' knees. Summing up, while there are cheaper options nearby, the difference is a few euros but the quality difference is massive. Do not expect a michelin star, but do expect a bloody good meal for a reasonable price.
