Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel

Felt like a serene bridge between city life and nature. From the poolside, the view opened to endless mangroves, their calm waters reflecting the sky like a mirror. I spent my time soaking in the quiet beauty sipping something cool, feeling the warm breeze, and watching the gentle rhythm of the tides. It wasn’t just a stay; it was a reminder that even in the heart of Abu Dhabi, you can find a sanctuary where time moves slower and your mind feels lighter.

I booked a room with pool for three days for my anniversary and we were so excited, after a long roadtrip from another city we reached the hotel and wanted to check in, they simply said the room has guests inside and they are staying we cant give u the room, NEVER COMING BACK AND HAD A BAD MEMORY THERE!

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was so quiet!|We'll definitely be coming back here.

Beautiful hotel in a great location by the mangroves. My room and hotel area were all very clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing - very professional and welcoming. I loved the pool area, it was stunning with plenty of sun beds and cabanas to use. The staff here were very attentive, and I appreciated the sustainability aspect with the hotel providing eco bottles for water rather than plastic. ||The food was ok. Room service could be slightly better for the price they were charging. ||The only downside I had was that they didn’t cater to solo travellers. They had spa offers in the app advertised as 50% off. But when I tried to book in a treatment they only said they could book me in if I was in a couple at BOGOF instead. Likewise, the spa staff advertising services at the pool said there were special offers on hammam, but once again not for solo guests when I tried to book this with the spa too. They have deals on groupon for the spa that work out far cheaper.|Lastly, the happy hour at the pool bar was only for couples. It was BOGOF but I was only allowed the one drink. Very strange. ||Apart from the issue with being a solo traveller, I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel for a stay in Abu Dhabi, it’s a very relaxing hotel and easy and cheap to get a cab in to the city.

While the location and accessibility met expectations, the service and room quality fell short of the 5-star standard. However, the infinity pool overlooking the mangroves provided a serene escape. It's worth noting the absence of a dedicated kids' pool, only a shallow baby pool. Overall, it was a peaceful stay with some room for improvement in service and amenities.

We have stayed here quite a few times due to the lovely location of the hotel and gorgeous views over the mangroves. Kayaking is available right beside the hotel. Highly recommend the roof top bar (especially during happy hour from 5-8pm), we had a few cocktails and enjoyed the view. Background music was upbeat and dynamite shrimp was really tasty. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast on our balcony was brought to us by the charming Sabirau who was lovely and cheerful.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious, staff is gracious and sweet, there’s one person I’d like to thank in particular - Salman; one of the hotel’s sweetest staff members. Otherwise the poolside is great, we had a chance to use their spa which was good too; sleep quality was good, they’ve got a selection of pillows to pick from so that helped. Overall, lovely hotel, would 10/10 come back.
