Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas

I loved the resort and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had an upgrade, the suite was spacious with an amazing sea view. Breakfast was multicultural & delicious. The location was close to the airport. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the free water activities due to weather. Thank you so much Eman (the resort supervisor) for being lovely & your welcoming personality. I just would recommend to add a long mirror with overhead lighting. I strongly recommend it & definitely would come back again. 😍😉👌🏻

Went for a couple spa massage treatment and two ladies Kamna and Yashna welcomed and attended us so well. The massage was great and relaxing. We also had hammam session and jacuzzi available at our convenience. Great infusions before and after treatment. Highly recommend the spa treatment. On another note, the staff were very kind and helpful. So overall a great experience. We also had our lunch at the restaurant with a great view and the food was good.

Checked in to this spectacular resort last night. We appreciated the warm welcoming from the airport to reception staff, until we got to horizons restaurant lol. We rushed to the restaurant for dinner and arrived 30 minutes before they closed. We were treated as though we were locals or well informed guests who had been staying at the resort for at least a couple of days because no one cared to tell us how things work we were basically thrown into the deep and we definitely drowned. First of all I thought that we were going to be seated and presented with a menu but everyone was just busy cleaning up in the restaurant and one waiter just said “go get your food quickly we’re closing in 30minutes”… while we were eating I said to my husband, are you aware that we have no idea how much this food is gonna cost us??? I was instantly uncomfortable with that. We haven’t seen a menu, there’s no sign of price for the buffet or anything in the restaurant and no waiter said anything until we were hit with a bill of over 5800 which was definitely not worth the food or the tasteless diluted drinks we were serve at over 265 each. The juice I suspected is probably one of those free ones served at breakfast. The food wasn’t worth that price. We would’ve NEVER paid that much money for a buffet dinner unless it was fine dining. We walked out of the restaurant feeling very disappointed and robbed but also just feeling like it is what it is. I mean the least you could’ve done was give us the menu give us options to see what we’re getting ourselves into, give us the choice!!!

It is a brilliant hotel very close to the airport. The best thing I liked was the beach, the waters were crystal clear!! |The staff is pretty good, the ocean view when you enter the lobby is brilliant. The restaurant is pretty decent but the Indian food needs upgrade on both quality and taste. Overall it was an amazing stay.!

One of the most beautiful resort in the Mauritius to visit, each time they surprise you with their services. I love to came back and enjoy most delicious Indian food in Zafarn restaurant, this is my 3rd visit and love to came here for Indian food, which gives me same taste like India. Special thanks to Chef Pradeep Singh, very humbled person with lovely heart. Kudos to Anantara resort and their management.

We stayed 10 days at Anantara and it was fantastic. The staff were attentive and welcoming, especially Naomi at reception and Iqbal, the front office manager, who gave excellent advice for exploring the island. Our garden-view room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully prepared, with Marius and Thomas arranging special touches for my fiancé’s birthday, including a lovely cake surprise. The bar, pool, and spa were perfect for relaxing, and room service was excellent. The porters were helpful with luggage and cars. Every detail made our stay unforgettable.

We had the pleasure of spending a luxurious and unforgettable 3-night family getaway at Anantara Iko Resort & Villas, and it was everything we hoped for—and more. We arrived around 4 PM and were warmly welcomed by Prashanth, whose hospitality and professionalism set the tone for the rest of our stay. To our delight, we were greeted right at our villa with refreshing welcome drinks and light snacks, a thoughtful gesture that instantly made us feel at home. While Prashanth handled the check-in formalities seamlessly, we began exploring the stunning property nestled along the beautiful Blue Bay coastline. He took the time to walk us through the key spots across the resort—from the pristine beach and serene pools to the array of restaurants offering different cuisines. Every detail of the property felt carefully curated, and the lush landscaping made our strolls a visual treat. *What we absolutely loved:* The villa: Spacious, private, and elegantly designed with its own pool and every amenity we could ask for. It truly felt like a luxurious extension of our home. The location: A beautifully maintained, tranquil property just 10 minutes from the airport. The beach experience: Clean, scenic, and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the picturesque beach swing—it became a family favorite for sunset photos. Exceptional service: Prashanth and Ashley were consistently responsive on the internal WhatsApp group and ensured every need was taken care of quickly and warmly. Dining: The buffet breakfast and dinner at Horizon had an excellent spread, with consistently delicious food. A special mention to Sea.Fire.Salt for their mouthwatering sushi, pineapple fried rice, and the fish fillet with lemon butter sauce—absolutely divine! Thoughtful touches: From the convenient buggy rides to the handy umbrellas in the villa, every small detail was designed with guest comfort in mind. The pools: Calm, scenic, and overlooking the ocean—a perfect spot to unwind. The staff: Always attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident at every step. *Room for improvement:* During peak hours at the Horizon restaurant, it would help if staff were assigned to specific sections to ensure smoother service and more personalized attention. We occasionally experienced short waits, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. All in all, our stay at Anantara Iko was everything a family holiday should be—peaceful, pampering, and filled with beautiful memories. My children usually start missing home after three nights, but this time was different—they didn’t want to leave! That, to me, speaks volumes. We would highly recommend the villas at Anantara Iko for anyone looking for an indulgent yet homely family escape.
