Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas

We had an excellent stay at Anantara Iko and the staff made our honeymoon so special. The attention to detail was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location is idyllic with access to a beautiful beach which was quiet and tranquil. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice of food and drinks included in the all inclusive package. The rooms were clean and spacious with super comfy beds. We enjoyed taking part in the water activities such as paddle-boarding and kayaking and also particularly enjoyed the wine tasting with Navin! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

4/5 – Beautiful Resort with Great Service and Relaxing Vibe Anantara Iko is a stunning resort with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful design. The property is modern and well maintained, with lush landscaping and easy beach access. The pool area and spa are definite highlights — calm, clean, and perfect for unwinding. My room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What kept it from being a full five stars was the inconsistency in service. Staff weren’t always as responsive or attentive as expected for this level of resort, and food service could be slow at times. Still, overall it was a wonderful experience and I’d happily return.

I loved the resort and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had an upgrade, the suite was spacious with an amazing sea view. Breakfast was multicultural & delicious. The location was close to the airport. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the free water activities due to weather. Thank you so much Eman (the resort supervisor) for being lovely & your welcoming personality. I just would recommend to add a long mirror with overhead lighting. I strongly recommend it & definitely would come back again. 😍😉👌🏻

As someone who’s stayed in many 5-star hotels, this was unfortunately the most disappointing experience I’ve had. Highlights: • The hotel’s design, pools, and restaurants are beautiful. • Location: only 10 minutes from the airport, but quite far from most Mauritius attractions — good if you just want peace and quiet. Lowlights: • Food: Buffet had variety but not 5-star quality. Service was poor — staff often ignored guests. I was even told mid-meal that my outfit didn’t meet the dress code, which felt rude and unnecessary. • Beach: zero service, no umbrellas or bar nearby, rocky and not ideal for swimming. • Room: spacious with nice bathroom, but had a slight smell and bugs inside. • Checkout: chaotic — staff knocked multiple times even after granting late checkout. • Transport: no taxis or apps available; you must arrange through the hotel or your own driver. Overall: beautiful property but poor service, stressful experience, and not worth the 5-star label. “I wouldn’t recommend it”

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing, especially since we were traveling with our 8-month-old baby. The staff were wonderful — always willing to help us with anything we needed.||We want to give special thanks to Mr. Sunny, who was extremely friendly and helpful. He advised us on great plans and activities so we could make the most of our stay. He even made sure that our baby’s food was well prepared and suitable, and that we had all the facilities we needed for the baby. Mr. Sunny also ensured that our room was always clean and comfortable. He was always ready to assist us, and the environment was calm and relaxing.||The hotel facilities are spectacular, and the comfort of the beds deserves special mention — we slept wonderfully every night.||The hotel restaurants were also excellent. We really enjoyed the Indian food — especially the butter chicken and naan, which were delicious. A big thanks to Chef Ram for the amazing, tasty dishes. The pizza was also fantastic — thank you to Chef Kunal for that!||Overall, a huge applause to Mr. Sunny and the entire team. We spent a weekend at Anantara Iko Mauritius and it was the perfect getaway. 🌴🌻 The room was nice and comfortable. The food was simply delicious with some great variety. The staff was super friendly and genuinely welcoming! ✨ The spa was relaxing - a special thanks to Mrs Kamna for the wonderful massage. 🌺 A heartfelt thank you to Nicolas, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. 🤍 Overall, it was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this hotel!! ☀️🌴

One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The buffet offered an impressive selection, from fresh salads to international dishes. In the à la carte restaurants Sea, Fire and Salt and Zafran, every meal felt like a small culinary event. The team at the hotel truly made a difference. Dylan, in particular, deserves a special mention – always smiling, helpful, and making sure everyone felt welcome. Our room was comfortable and offered plenty of space to unwind, although the cleaning could be a bit more detailed in places. The beach was just what we needed – calm, scenic, and perfect for a swim or simply relaxing. Pro tip: take water shoes for the rocky areas! The location is wonderfully peaceful, away from the crowds. For those who like to explore, renting a car is a great idea. In summary, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere

Beautiful property! Spa like feel when you enter the lobby. Ahmed, one of the managers, provided excellent customer service. Lobby personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Massage at the spa was a wonderful experience.||The beach is beautiful. Water is crystal clear. Bring water shoes as there are rocks as you enter the beautiful waters.||Some things for improvement would be:||Many food items were not available that were listed on the menu. Need some healthier food selections in the pool areas over the lunch time. ||Upgrade the liquor selection. Many of the high end items on the menu were not available. Need to broaden beer selection.||Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this hotel.
