Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas

This resort is a very decent choice if you want to skip the long island transfers and start your holiday immediately. It’s located just 10 minutes from the airport, though keep in mind there is no hotel shuttle. We took a local taxi for 900 MUR, which felt very fair for the convenience and distance. The hotel itself is strikingly modern with beautiful architecture and gardens that are impeccably designed and maintained. It feels like a true sanctuary. A few things to note: The Beach: It is visually stunning, especially on calm days. However, the water has quite a bit of seaweed and no coral, so it's not the best spot for snorkeling. Service: The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, though you can tell they are a bit inexperienced in some areas. A little patience goes a long way. Overall, a very solid, high-end option for anyone staying near Blue Bay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Anantara Iko villa. The experience was truly memorable, made even more special by the exceptional hospitality. |Neevedita and Ragini prepared the most delicious omelettes we’ve ever had — unlike any we’ve seen elsewhere! Words cannot adequately convey the beauty and magnificence of the experience at this upscale resort. Starting with the amicable and professional staff, who provide every comfort and attend to all guests' needs. I would like to particularly commend Imen and Yasira, who are regarded among the finest employees at this establishment; their support and assistance to guests are truly extraordinary. From the moment of our arrival, we perceived interactions with respectful and professional personnel. All staff members were welcoming and smiling, fostering a homely atmosphere. They thoroughly explained the resort's services and how to utilize them effectively. The resort features three accommodation options: villas, ocean-view rooms, and garden-view rooms, all offering breathtaking vistas. Regarding dining options, there are several restaurants on-site; I personally sampled three main options: - Sea Salt Fire, serving lunch and dinner (reservations required). The cuisine includes seafood dishes, which I highly commend. The flavors, presentation, and professionalism of the staff are exemplary, especially from JP (Manager), Kavish, and Avishka. - Horizon Restaurant, offering an open buffet for breakfast and dinner, typically presents a diverse array of international cuisines. - Zafran, providing dinner service with Indian cuisine (reservations required). My evaluation of this restaurant ranges from average to high. The resort offers a range of activities, events, and services; some require prior reservation and additional payment, while others are included in the standard reservation at check-in. Beyond the luxurious architecture, exquisite design, and strategic location, the resort's most commendable features are its cleanliness, room service, and the staff's eagerness to assist. During my stay, I encountered no issues related to cleanliness, and staff promptly addressed all requests. This resort ranks among the most beautiful and elegant locations I have visited during my travels and merits a rating of five stars or higher. Should I revisit Mauritius, this resort would be my preferred choice, as it is truly worth every penny.

From the moment we arrived, she treated us with such warmth, kindness, and genuine care—especially knowing it was our first time traveling. Iman went above and beyond for us, arranging a beautiful beach trip that became one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. I had an absolutely amazing stay at Anantara Iko Mauritius, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.||A special mention goes to Akhil, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. He constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and okay, and his kindness really stood out. On our departure day, he kindly assisted us by allowing us to leave our baggage in the hotel room and made the checkout process smooth and stress-free. Thank you Anantara Iko Mauritius for making our holiday memorable even though it was for a short stay we really felt welcomed ,specially Rebecca nailed it with her very professional and genuine hospitality which is very rare nowadays, made for it with her electric sense of humour and together with Mr Ahmed the FOM who is a nice gentleman who joined to make our wedding anniversary even more special with a special little surprise in our room to mark this occasion with even more added value bonus A wide variety of fresh tasty food and local spicy snacks. We spent a weekend at Anantara Iko Mauritius and it was the perfect getaway. 🌴🌻 The room was nice and comfortable. The food was simply delicious with some great variety. The staff was super friendly and genuinely welcoming! ✨ The spa was relaxing - a special thanks to Mrs Kamna for the wonderful massage. 🌺 A heartfelt thank you to Nicolas, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable.
