Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

Excellent service. Delicious food. We had beachfront villa #11 which was beautiful and spacious. They left no stone unturned. The toiletries, robes, slippers, flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas etc. Absolutely top notch place and the workers were very friendly and helpful. Food and beverage team were incredible. Be aware there is ongoing construction noise every day all day, even the weekend. This took away from the relaxing atmosphere. Understandably we visited in the slow season so room upgrades at this time are probably the most feasible. However, directly next to the hotel is a national park which is working daily to help the beach erosion with excavators. So even if the hotel was not doing construction, you would still hear excavation work. In fact, they were excavating right outside our villa at 1am one night. The front desk was extremely apologetic and was able to get them to stop, and they gave us free brunch the next day. We were very appreciative and grateful for this, but just something to consider for your trip. Overall would stay again

We had the most perfect stay at Anantara Layan Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The resort itself is stunning, serene, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. The food was great, the staff as well are very friendly. Kids club 5 ⭐️ my toddler did not want to leave! We were fortunate to have a 24-hour butler Koi, and she went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Her attention to detail, warmth, and dedication were simply outstanding — nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made sure every moment of our stay was seamless and special. She also helped me a lot with my baby. This was truly a five-star experience in every sense, and I cannot recommend Anantara Layan Beach highly enough. We will definitely return.

The rooms at this resort are very clean and comfortable, which made the stay feel relaxing from the start. The activities on offer are fantastic, especially for families. There’s a farm, a large kids’ club with activities throughout the week, a clay studio for pottery and painting, complimentary kayaks and paddle boards by the beach, tennis courts, a big zip line, and many more activities. There’s also a great variety of restaurants, so you never run out of options for meals. What stood out to me most was the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really makes a difference. I would absolutely recommend this resort — it’s truly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at.

The resort is very beautiful, well maintained, and the food was excellent. However, our personal experience was challenging. We arrived late at night with three small children and a 70-year-old family member. The only available rooms required climbing many stairs, which was difficult for us. Staff advised us that these rooms might not be suitable, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive the level of support or practical solutions we had hoped for in that situation. We eventually left the hotel at 10:30 PM and returned the following day. The main option we were given was to upgrade to more expensive rooms, which did not fit our needs. This left us with a disappointing feeling, as we expected a more supportive approach given our special circumstances.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our villa was stunning, spotless, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. At both breakfast and lunch, the restaurant staff impressed us with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was accompanied by a smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We must highlight that breakfast at Anantara Layan was without question the best we have ever had at a hotel - everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The pool and bar staff also stood out with their friendliness and eagerness to help at any moment. Their cheerful attitude made each visit by the poolside a true pleasure. One of the most heartwarming aspects of our stay was how child-friendly your entire team is. Every staff member we encountered was kind and welcoming to our children, often approaching them with a toy, a smile, or an extra effort to make them feel special. As parents, this meant so much to us and created memories we will cherish forever. The front desk and guest services teams also went above and beyond to assist us with every request. It was evident throughout our stay that your staff work seamlessly together, constantly communicating and updating one another to ensure that guests receive the best possible service. This level of teamwork is rare and truly commendable. As our stay comes to an end, we leave with a heavy heart, wishing we could remain longer, but at the same time filled with joy and gratitude for the unforgettable experience you have given us. I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is both elegant and relaxing. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable — perfect for a restful stay. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. This hotel in Phuket is a true gem! Tucked away in a peaceful spot in Layan, it's the perfect escape from the crowds of Patong. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spotless rooms and incredibly friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Phuket!
