Amazing resort, staff goes above and beyond. Hospitality at its finest. Dined at Dara's - seriously one of the best meals I ever had. Khun Kana extremely helpful at the tour desk set us up with an awesome snorkeling trip, snorkeling was great swimming in the emerald green waters off of Surin beach and diving off the boat was amazing. Thailand Hospitality at its finest. Do not sleep through breakfast the buffet is outstanding. Thanks to all the staff for incredible service 👏

We stayed at Anantara for our honeymoon, and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel has a calm, elegant atmosphere that made our trip feel incredibly special. The team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and their attention to detail was something we deeply appreciated. One of the highlights was the private romantic dinner they arranged for us on the beach — a beautifully intimate experience with perfect ambiance and amazing food. It was the kind of moment you never forget. The dining options across the hotel were outstanding as well. Zuma was absolutely amazing, with top-quality dishes and superb service. And the steak restaurant inside the hotel is a hidden jewel, offering great food, wonderful service, and stunning terrace views. Anantara exceeded all expectations and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

Exceptional experience at this stunning resort. Huge thanks and appreciation to all the staff, everyone was so helpful, welcoming, warm, and truly went above and beyond - whether at breakfast, dinner, water sports or exploring the resort. There’s so much to do and see, you don’t need to leave the resort if you don’t want to. Food was incredible, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Stayed for 4 days but wish I’d stayed for a week to experience more of this beautiful resort. Honestly couldn’t find fault with any of the experience and plan to return in future.

Excellent service. Delicious food. We had beachfront villa #11 which was beautiful and spacious. They left no stone unturned. The toiletries, robes, slippers, flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas etc. Absolutely top notch place and the workers were very friendly and helpful. Food and beverage team were incredible. Be aware there is ongoing construction noise every day all day, even the weekend. This took away from the relaxing atmosphere. Understandably we visited in the slow season so room upgrades at this time are probably the most feasible. However, directly next to the hotel is a national park which is working daily to help the beach erosion with excavators. So even if the hotel was not doing construction, you would still hear excavation work. In fact, they were excavating right outside our villa at 1am one night. The front desk was extremely apologetic and was able to get them to stop, and they gave us free brunch the next day. We were very appreciative and grateful for this, but just something to consider for your trip. Overall would stay again

The rooms at this resort are very clean and comfortable, which made the stay feel relaxing from the start. The activities on offer are fantastic, especially for families. There’s a farm, a large kids’ club with activities throughout the week, a clay studio for pottery and painting, complimentary kayaks and paddle boards by the beach, tennis courts, a big zip line, and many more activities. There’s also a great variety of restaurants, so you never run out of options for meals. What stood out to me most was the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really makes a difference. I would absolutely recommend this resort — it’s truly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at.

We must highlight that breakfast at Anantara Layan was without question the best we have ever had at a hotel - everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The pool and bar staff also stood out with their friendliness and eagerness to help at any moment. Their cheerful attitude made each visit by the poolside a true pleasure. One of the most heartwarming aspects of our stay was how child-friendly your entire team is. Every staff member we encountered was kind and welcoming to our children, often approaching them with a toy, a smile, or an extra effort to make them feel special. As parents, this meant so much to us and created memories we will cherish forever. The front desk and guest services teams also went above and beyond to assist us with every request. It was evident throughout our stay that your staff work seamlessly together, constantly communicating and updating one another to ensure that guests receive the best possible service. We had the most perfect stay at Anantara Layan Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The resort itself is stunning, serene, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. The food was great, the staff as well are very friendly. Kids club 5 ⭐️ my toddler did not want to leave! We were fortunate to have a 24-hour butler Koi, and she went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Her attention to detail, warmth, and dedication were simply outstanding — nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made sure every moment of our stay was seamless and special. She also helped me a lot with my baby. This was truly a five-star experience in every sense, and I cannot recommend Anantara Layan Beach highly enough. We will definitely return.
