28/05/25-30/05/25|I love the vibe around the hotel resort. The first time I was here, Beautiful room, cleanliness. Good food breakfast. I was delighted, warming, peaceful, and excellent. The staff always assists us, even though a little difficult to communicate, but everyone is ready to help. Thank you so much Mr.Mirshat manager of lobby, staff from breakfast, Dai lounge, lobby, Buggy driver, Housekeeping, and others. Everyone was very kind, smiling and taking care of us. We spent three unforgettable nights at Anantara Xishuangbanna, and it was pure paradise. Nestled deep in nature, this resort is the best place to stay in Xishuangbanna, far from the hustle and bustle. The journey from the airport takes about an hour, but once you arrive, you’re in a world of calm, peace, and lush greenery. The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is nearby, making it perfect for nature lovers.||||Our Anantara Pool Villa was beyond beautiful. Southeast Asian-inspired decor, elegant and warm, with a stunning private pool and a massive bathroom that felt like a spa. A surprise bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruits welcomed us—such a lovely touch. Every detail was thoughtfully designed for relaxation.||||The service was exceptional—genuinely warm and attentive, making us feel at home. The food? Delicious. Whether local flavors or international dishes, every meal was a treat.||||If you’re looking for true peace and luxury in Xishuangbanna, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Loved it here. Just loved it. |Nice rooms, good food, close to the botanical garden, quiet and great service. ||We slept so well and enjoyed the pool overlooking the Mekong river. We had a car so getting around was easy but without it would be difficult. || Xishuangbanna is lovely and this hotel is in a tranquil area.

We were welcomed warmly by Joanne who was so helpful and friendly. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the river from the balcony. The bathroom is enormous and I have never seen such a colossal bathtub in a hotel room before. It was such a fantastic experience to soak in a tub so deep! I am tall and yet I couldn't reach the end of the tub! Then one evening we met Jasper who took great care of us too in the restaurant and the bar. Both Jasper and Joanne excelled in their care and we can't thank them enough! The location of the hotel is great for the Botanical Gardens... they even offer a buggy to take you to the gate! The spa was really relaxing and enjoyable. Came away feeling chilled and unwound! Would love to go back in the future!

Warm, peaceful and a welcome tranquility resort away from the bustling Jinghong City is a well deserved place for great value and local Menglun experience. Great villa experience for a small upgrading charges. Staff are friendly and eager to assist though may require some patience due to lack of English (understandable in most small town where good hospitality operations are located here in Yunnan Province). ||Breakfast is decent and service are helpful in term when needed additional western style meals. Lunch with Dai food was well deliciously prepared , had roasted chicken, local Dai style noodles and stir fried market vegetables. |Villa experience was well valued for a small upgrading fees, large set - up with pool and pergola - similar as to most Thai designed villas. Comfortable bedding and great pillows - no complaint over the well deserved rest. |Improvement: - staff engagement, some areas required more maintenance and more guests! ||Overall there is no major complaint over our stay, it's a valuable Xishuangbanna experience that deserve to better exposure for this quiet and peaceful resort - we discovered this resort when we visited the botanical garden next door!

Although the hotel structure looks nice, it is totally badly maintained, with pieces of walls, pools, road falling down. The staff tries is best to be kind and helpful however the service is simply zero: nobody speaks a word of English, food and beverage takes ages and the restaurant orders close too soon (no later than 8:15-8:30). We had a villa with pool but every day we were out on trip and once back everyday we had to ask for pool cleaning. Nevertheless the outer floor was dirty and they never cleaned up. The only acceptable element was the breakfast: nice and rich, even if by the time they open at 7 am, not so much is ready and available. For the price we paid the value for money is simply ridiculous. The position is far away from everything however it could have been worth it if the service was at least decent. It might be that the years of covid restrictions did not help however we must admit that we would not recommend it to anyone.

I revisited this hotel after an amazing time about the same time of the year 2015, in one of the pool villas. My memories to the XSBN Anantara were amazing, and expectations were obvously too high to be met this time again. ||Reception was friendly and reserved. No special recognition as Anantara member, so was the intransparent (and not written) upgrade policy which left me in the room I booked (whats wrong with that?:) Staff is friendly and tries hard. Garden is maintained average, In my memory it was at a different level 6 years ago The Buggies are really disturbing. its a small place, all perfectly in walking distance. Food quality in the Dai restaurant is high, though a bit overpriced.||Pool is clean, so is the Gym. Nice paths and walkways.||||||All in all, comparing the past, a disappointment. ||Reminds me better to never ever revisit paradise-like places after a few years. I wont come back for sure.

Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort||Airport pick-up 600 RMB, nice to be met at the airport. 1 hrs from Jinghong (Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport.) ||Beautiful location, flowers, nature smells really good, fresh air, sounds of birdsong; even rainy days are charming. Restaurants onsite offer a variety of local, Asian & western dishes. ||The hotel Spa offers an excellent service, very relaxing.||Pool is good, hot & cold areas. Hot chocolate afterwards on the terrace was very much appreciated.||Walking (5 minutes) from Botanical Gardens West Gate.||Hired a taxi for between 500 - 700 RMB per day to visit local sites.
