Excellent hotel, very good service, we had a great time, very hospitable people

I think is one of our best trips as a couple so far. The hotel has an amazing view, being situated on a background slope of Metsovo. The room was amazingly warm even if large, fact supported by the warm hairy carpets disposed around the matrimonial bed. The balcony faced the mountain from the back and offered a really beautiful setting. The living room, that we took breakfast as well, had on a side the reception area and in the background the fireplace , all around the room were seating benches and pillows in a nice decoration. The breakfast was good, mainly continental. The host gives the necessary information about the area and directed us also to the Museum of Local Craftmanships.

I really loved this beautiful hotel. Absolutely superb service from the reception to the pool area, lovely white rooms, delicious breakfast.||don't even hesitate to book this amazing hotel.Guys from the restaurant are so professional especially Stavros and Achilles, and please try the spa and massage you gonna be amazed

Update 2023. All below still applies, you can trust to book directly from the hotel site. The ownets will welcome you and will adjust to any request, they are amazing. They even provided great home cooked breakfast for us very early in the morning, as we had to leave early. Useful tip, in case you need a triple room, ask for room 9 as it's bigger, even more beautiful view and a larger bathroom. Amazing little hotel, extremely clean, amazing view from the balcony! Also incredible owners, height of hospitality. Perfect breakfast with homemade sweets sooo tasty and local products. Dream stay in Metsovo, a very nice little town with vlahi nationality (speaking and understanding some Romanian). Thank you so much for a very nice stay!

I stayed one night in this great hotel. Extremely clean room! The view of the mountains is spectacular, the breakfast is served with local handmade products. The milk pie is the best in the world. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Mr Ianis, the owner, gave us free of charge local "tsiporo" shots. The price/night was very low. Value for money has its' real sense in hotel Anax, Metsovo.

A very comfortable and traditionally furnished hotel. The owner couple was very friendly and helpful. The view from the room / balcony was breathtaking and the fresh, light mountain air made for a deep and restful sleep. From the hotel, the center of Metsovo is quickly and easily accessible. In the morning, the owner offered me a piece of her freshly baked, traditional pitta for Metsovo Art (puff pastry). Great for a relaxing stay.

Hotel Anax is a charming, family-managed hotel in the Mountain Village Metsovo. The owners make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. They do everything within their power to make you feel comfortable. The rooms have a warm cozy feeling and wonderfull panoramic views on the Pindos Mountains. Just the shower is a bit uncomfy and on the small side, I made quite a mess while showering. The hosts serve a great, well taken care of and delicious breakfast with a range of local products. On the last night of our stay we were offered a drink, we stayed the evening talking to the owners, it felt more like e home-away-from-home than a hotel. Thank you for the great experience and the good cares!!!

We arraived late but everything was ready. This family like managed hotel has very clean and nice rooms, traditional type with balcony and excellent view to the ally. The wifi did not work in the rooms but hood in the loby. We had a great great breakfast for a reasonable price.
